No, Bill told Steffy he won't ever tell anyone, nor press charges, he did that and gave his FC stock. THis was back when he was stalking and harassing her when she was prego the first time

Gotcha. This summer I speculated that this *secret* could be useful to someone. It seems like an easy out of this mess. Seriously, the lunacy of Sheila shooting both over 'why did I drink?' C'mon.

The irony is that Steffy + Thomas then proceeded to work so hard to get Taylor/Ridge back together, when the easy solution would've been to have Steffy join Thomas and Sheila. But, I'll concede, the resulting storylines did boost B&B's ratings.

LOL Bill CHOSE not to press charges, what's hard to understand about that?

Wait, so the police and everyone know Taylor shot Bill? Then Bill and and the DA, declined to press charges? It's not really a crime that is left solely to the victim here. I suppose B&B's justice is used when it's a convenient plot point.

I was under the impression that Bill, Liam and Steffy were the only ones who knew the truth, but I wasn't really watching regularly during that period.

  3. Yikes at Friday's episode. It's further proof the CG is being wasted tied to Teriah.

If Y&R was bold, they'd explore Daniel/Mariah. MG/CG had chemistry back in the day. It'd be interesting because Daniel's drinking lead to Cassie's choice and death, denying Mariah the chance to meet her sister. There's so much history to be mined. Not to mention Sharon/Phyllis/Summer in the mix with Kyle thrown in - another avenue for Mariah.

They’ve reused that exterior night footage outside Bill’s house. It’s taken from the episode where Taylor (HT) went to Bill’s house in the middle of the night and shot him.

And funny how Taylor's premeditated shooting just got swept under the rug by all 3 families. Bizarre how Sheila's impulsive shooting, which was a a terrible plot point, is somehow irredeemable, but $B's attempted murder is not.

Did we ever find out if Sheila actually has money or was that just sweet talk to get Deacon's help?

Agreed however I feel Hunter was better at playing taylor sophisticated and as a psychiatrist

KA plays Taylor like a blue collar chick, which is fine. I like her interpretation and her acting choices. However, HT brought a sense of elegance and as you mentioned, sophistication, that was an intended contrast to the 'girl from the valley.'

Regardless, KA has done a great job in her first year of reinventing Taylor. The character was absent for far too long.

Wait. Was that the last of Sheila?

Or is that their way of having her migrate over to Y&R for the anniversary year?

Good theory. I foresee a short stint on Y&R, especially with Daniel back - she is Lucy's grandmother. Sheila will return to B&B and somehow get out of this mess. Hey, Taylor shot Bill (premeditated) and everyone has just swept that under the rug.

KB is still ratings gold to the show that was proven with the unusually high ratings of the special Halloween episode. Just bring Diana along to meet her brothers Ridge and Finn as well as her niece/sister-in-law Steffy. They have so much story that hasn't been touched instead of the usual rehashing.

Catching up on the week and I find it a bit convenient how Harrison always cries for "Deedee" but has never once asked for his actual mother.

It's all about Harrison's feelings for DeeDee! Give me a break.

No wonder Phyllis feels like she's in some alt universe as Jack, Kyle and Summer have all been snowed by Diane. Seriously, this is a woman who abandoned her son to fake her death, then got in bed with a criminal, turned on him and stole his money. NAP (Nikki, Ashley and Phyllis) are not wrong.

Also, DeeDee sure didn't seem so scared of Jeremy when they met. And you know Phyllis didn't give Stark the Abbott address because Diane is at hotel. What a coincidence Diane just happened to be at the Abbott house when he showed up, mere moments before Jack arrived. Diane sure parlayed that *unlucky* visit into a sleepover. Just sayin'

Could Tucker and Phyllis kick it? That would be an interesting pairing, especially now that Phyllis has pulled into Devon's universe via Daniel's job offer.

  8. MG + CK still light it up. In fact, I've started peaking back because of his return. Lily was turned into a matron at 25 because of Daddy Kangaroo. Seeing that retro clip from 18(!) years ago. Um, wow!

Jack reading Phyllis. Best work PB has done in a long time. Gotta say MS and PB are great acting partners because MS let PB have his moments. Y&R really needs more of these types of scenes.

Again, how is B&B not the lowest rated soap?

If popularity equaled quality, shows like TEON would've rated above, say, GH. It's also why popcorn movies/romantic comedies excel, while indie films scrape by, etc.

B&B's formula has worked for decades both in US + Internationally. It's likely an incredibly profitable show, which is really what show *business* is all about. Unless the Bell family decides to shut it down, it'll continue well past the remaining legacy soaps.

  10. Theoretically, #DAbby should be watching paint dry. The reality is definitely *not* dry! Glad they finally pulled the trigger. I wonder what Ashley + Tucker will think.

Can Chance and Amanda have a revenge fling? it's pretty hilarious to think anyone would cheat on those two fine specimens. smh

    Spoiler

Perhaps Amanda (Karla Mosley) can return with a Chancellor heir...

  11. I stand by my earlier theory BLame coupling with some new twists:

Hope is tricking Thomas. Liam secretly sees Hope hold hands with Thomas or kisses him on cheek, which *is* cheating on B&B.

Liam gets drunk. Meanwhile, Brooke is babysitting at Steffy's. Brooke, frustrated that all the dark haired women (Taylor, Li) are getting her men, tries on a hideous wig Taylor left behind at Steffy's. Brooke falls asleep on the couch. Drunk Liam lets himself into Steffy's. The rest is a blameless Brooke scandal.

Those changes sound very authoritarian. And give the pages in the varies threads a blandness. Not every posters can write an amazing post. A funny gif or pic pepper the threads a bit. Not saying the threads should be oversaturated with pics and gifs. Pretty much the only thread posters quote each other is the Days thread. The other 3 threads are usually dead.

Individual signature blocks, which you see every time that members posts. I never said anything about posting a gif or pic as a response in a thread.

  13. 1. I'm on multiple boards with only 'Like' buttons. It actually helps keep down thread size because you don't have multiple people quoting/repeating exactly the same thing. Every board I'm on eliminated the 'dislike' button years ago.

    2. Reducing or eliminating footer pics. Some are just far too large, irrelevant and distracting to the conversation. This is the only board I'm on that permits pics in member footer. Pics are only permitted in your profile avatar.

I posted the clip above of Thomas talking to himself saying he did it.

(That was from Tues 11 Oct episode). After watching that scene, I don't see how Douglas was involved.

Exactly. So what's the point? To trick his father to return to Taylor? As if Ridge/Brooke don't implode regularly. I simply don't get the rationale of damaging Thomas - a character that few in the audience even care about.

I suppose it'll give Brooke someone to blame when she opens her heart to $B or Liam. B&B is always shaky when it comes to storytelling, but this is really bad.

  15. When the inevitable judging of the consensual trio emerges, I hope Dr. Marlena Evans steps in to shut it down. As a couple A&C discussed it before deciding it was right for them. Alex is single and chose them.

There is absolutely nothing seedy or wrong with this. It's not like, say, a married woman cheats with her ex on a conference room table only to get caught by the daughter she shares with her husband. There's a lot of glass houses in Salem. Just sayin'

    That's what I'm thinking too...

Hope playing Thomas leads to another faux compromising scene that Liam the Genius misinterprets, which results in the scandal that's *destined* to happen.

Hope: I did it for Douglas!

Liam: I'm *related* to Douglas, you're not. Your obsession with my nephew is really about your repressed feelings for Thomas. Getting our daughter back and marrying me should've been more than enough. Ask yourself, why it isn't? Bye!

  17. Brooke should've slammed the door in Ridge's face when he returned from Paris after dumping her on their honeymoon. That's not destiny, it's pathetic.

What makes this harder to take is that I've never felt destiny between TK + KKL (as Ridge/Brooke). It feels forced. If TK was a new character, perhaps, because I like him as an actor. RM+KKL milked this drama for 25 years. When he left, it should've been the end of destiny and a fresh start - even with a recast Ridge. The only other soap couple has run this 30+ years merry-go-round is Victor/Nikki on Y&R. The only reason that worked was because it was the same actors.
