Home and Away has been on hiatus since Flick died.. I rewatched a few weeks over November and this show is lacking something. All those storylines are boring and I think I will take a Break from it again. Which is a Shame coz I grew up during home and aways 2nd hey days (the 00‘s)..

The Cliffhanger Finale was great (Spoilers) Drew and Harper Save a Family After a car accident and have a bike accident themself. drew survived and Harper died and we got a Beautiful Flashback Montage at the end as much as annoying she could get she will be missed! But yay. Drew stays! Harry Warner‘s Showdown was not a letdown but could’ve been better. It played well with the the Depression Storyline! Now he’s in jail. Chris wants the Warner Money gone but ofc Guy, Finn and Frank decide against it and we get a sass mention. Poor Chris. But he should’ve let Guy take Harry to the Facility in another Country to get Special treatment with his mental Health instead of jail. He even took chris hostage for a few minutes. It was an OK ending. Esther is suspended coz of her actions but still tried saving Harper which will probably cost her career! AND Logan pops up RANDOMLY and seems back on the new Picture for Shorty 2025 - New Blood! Chris seems back too.. But he tells Monique that he still loves her. Ugh Madonna is pregnant.. So they work her real life pregnancy into the show i see

At least it’s not all over the place like coronation street. They tortured me enough that I had to take a break for a couple of weeks. Lol I love me some drama but too much drama is really killing me mind and my mood. Ross return is the Most dissapointing 2024-Storyline

I hate losing vets on shows like shorty and home and away.. BUT Nicole was there for 15 years and that’s it? They could’ve easily sent her off with Maeve. They keep Cassie but letting go of Nicole ? That’s odd. I can live without Harper but not Drew. Drew without Harper is much more fun. This year was unbalanced and really odd. But Chris carried that damn show with the depression story and his friendship to Viliami. selina is annoying. She is lashing out on Chris. Badmouthing him and wonders why he doesn’t want to be with her lol Monique, Thaddeus, Chris, Drew here and there, Nazar, Marty were the real stars this year! Madonna had her moments but she can be so annoying too. They have no money for a 4 episodic week but for a blooper episode ? Ok? Lol I really hope Chris won’t die during the showdown with his sons and his brother.

I’m confused. Nicole gets cleared and her verdict is “NOT Guilty”.. Gets a flashback of actually killing her and then turning herself in AND that’s it for Nicole after 15 years on shortland street ? Wow. I mean she ain’t as fun as back in the day and became too snooby and annoying BUT WTH? And what about Maeve now? This is weird. Not an ending I wanted for Nicole. and let me guess the reunion of Harper and Drew leads to either one of them dying or both of them? Ugh BUT I called it: Harry Warner is back! And he’s not alone! Finn and Frank are back AND Chris brother Guy Warner! What a twist. Can’t wait for the season finale Monday night! rumors has it that Chris will be out too and I don’t think I can tolerate shortland street anymore if Chris would be gone! He’s the damn heart of this show! Like wtf. When that boss appeared to check on SS and talked to the cast etc before deciding to keep it on for 2025 but reducing it to 3 episodes I really hope that Michael Gavin didn’t offered to leave to free some budget. He’s such a great actor and I could actually see him sacrificing his job and career on the show to help that show survive. But I hope i‘M wrong

Gosh when Emmerdale is going all out with their climax they are doing it well! Like I said.. Belle carried 2024! If she doesn’t win sheet then it’s all rigged. U don’t even have to be a fan of the Dingles or ED in particular in soapland but u can’t deny that she did an outstanding job! kudos to the actor of Tom too. That trial was heartbreaking… Those are the moments when I can’t just give up on Emmerdale lol

Zoe Carpenter… I remember her so well… and her annoying brother Archie lol Zoe was a solid character back then and I enjoyed her but u could tell before the actress left that she was phoning in her last stuff

I watch some OLtL 2004… Do I have to watch the 2004-AMC episodes too for the baby’s witch storyline crossover or can I just ignore AMC and keep on watching OLtL ?

My favorite seasons 2010-2012… I loved summer, Tash, Donna and them. There was so much going on. Miss those days

“Das Erste/ARD”-Network seems really desperate when it comes down to their morning line up. They cancelled their Talkshow and will air re runs of their crime shows and quiz shows ofc. The two Daily’s Rote Rosen and Sturm der Liebe will be safe until 2027. BUT they will have a two week winter break starting next week around December 18th. BUT there is something interesting happening. With their two Daily’s being renewed until 2027 Das Erste will bring over the soap opera “Dahoam is Dahoam” that will air their 3500th episode next year. Dahoam is dahoam has been airing 4 times a week since 2007 on the BR (Bayrischer Rundfunk.. With shows from the Bayern region) and Das Erste will air Dahoam is Dahoam on their main network starting from January 7th at 16:10! It will air after Rote Rosen, Sturm der Liebe and the News.. They won’t air the brand new episodes and they won’t start with episode 1. They will start with episode 2246/2247 from 2018 and since this show has a runtime from like 24-28 minutes we will get double episodes a day! This is such an interesting development to have 3 Daily’s airing on ARD again since Verbotene Liebe and Marienhof died. Maybe this will help to stop those ridiculous summer breaks for Sturm der Liebe (the best daily right now compared to snoozefest Unter Uns, AWZ and try hard GZSZ)! SAT1 has been lucky with their new soap opera “Landarztpraxis” and it already managed to survive 3 seasons. BUT during the breaks SAT1 tried so hard to establish another daily’s and all 3 shows that came after it flopped badly (even with former fan favorites from other shows). Die Landarztpraxis started with 60 episodes and for a 80 episodic 2nd season in 2024 and will return on January 2nd with season 3. Season 3 will have 120 episodes. This show really is doing good. the Spreewald Klinik is another medical soap that managed to get a 2nd season renewal for 2025. Germany has currently 6 Daily’s.. 8 with the seasonal breaks of Die Landarztpraxis and the Spreewald Klinik

I loved the Classics so much for it’s Camp and writting. But something between 91-93 felt boring. What really hooked me again was Taylor‘s Return as Princess. Im Upset so many hated it here I enjoyed it so much and 1994-95 was so strong. 96-97 were hit or miss. 98-2002/03 was a strong era again with a lot of flaws but equally great stuff. It was well balanced. But After Macy died and the custody battle has been finished and Amber and rick’s relationship destroyed i gave up. 2003-2005/06 was weird. I don’t even mention Taylor‘s return as one of the reasons. Thomas and Gabriela or whatever her Name was had so much potential but they gave up on it too fast. BUT what on Earth did they do to Amber‘s character and watching Bridget and Ridge being snowed in in the cold and waiting for them to Kiss to have Proof that’s something going on? Like wtf was that ? Clarke/Amber Scenes were Hilarious but nah. 2006-2009… I enjoyed Rick vs Ridge… Phoebe and Rick.. BUT the egg Storyline, Phoebe‘s Death, Taylor killing Darla in a Hit and run and then being an item with Thorne . Who Wrote This Crap ? Brooke‘s Rape and Stephanie being quiet a reason for it to happen really hurt My love for This Show. My mom got me hooked on Days and B&B and they were my First Soaps with our German ones BUT brookes rape and the egg Story really destroyed everything i loved about this show. The Camp I Can Overlook and some flaws in the writting BUT that? Never. what got me back was 2010-2012 with Hope-Liam-Steffy and the Show felt Fresh again. We even had Dollar Bill freshly Introduced in 09 and being a Great Addition to the Show. 2012-13 was dull. 2014-15 was Strong but 16 flat! 2017-18 with the spectras 2.0 I really had high hopes and it started off Great and of course they lost interest in writting for them and gave up. Since 2019 I Couldn’t Care less anymore and just keep up and Watch here and there. i don’t ever think Bell will Retire. He will be there until he dies

What a sad and Erpressung year… So many big losses for the Soap Community and their Families during the last 4 Years Another Legend gone. He Made OLTL worhwhile tbh

Great trailer but this whole Abe story is really too far fetched by now and more annoying than exciting. Mercedes kinda lost Felix and Warren and now she gets written as a tension for Grace/Freddie. UGH enough of Mercedes ffs I’ve heard about Nancy’s new story coming up and I’m not thrilled. Why are they doing Nancy and Darren so dirty again ?

Michael’s exit will be a big blow to this show tbh
