I’m really trying to get back into this show and can’t decide which year I want to start. My favorite storylines were Jammy, Bizzie, Eli Simms from 1983 (my very first year and my first episodes I’ve ever watched of GL).. Reva vs Annie, Gus and Harley adventures..

I always thought they overdid their episodes of Corrie and ED. I mean who needs like 6-7 episodes a week for god damn sake lol only time they are off the air is their one off day and when soccer is on

That person has uploaded a lot of 1998 and a few more from the 00’s. I don’t know why the audience wasn’t invested in this soap? I mean they tolerate Hollyoaks which was ten times worse than this

Concept sounds great but those people will lose against vets like flair, Rhodes again. Can’t believe WWE still pushes their old storylines instead of moving forward with Liv, Alexa, Roxanne etc. Rumble was great until Nia and Charlotte came in. U knew who would win after that. Ridiculous

I love everything I come across LOL. I was even able to find that one book with the story about Vanessa. I need that other book and it makes me sick that I can’t get my hands on it. I nearly was able too but he wasn’t shipping to my adress:(

I’m done with October 1981! Heather is cleared so far even though Burt Ramsey just wouldn’t let it go. If it was 2025 Heather could easily sue him for harassment at this point lol Joe and Heather are so sweet . They are finally together. But in what world did he thought it was a good idea to invite those two lady’s to dinner? Anne having a go with Heather was the first time i appericiate Anne’s acting again. But she is just so annoying. I mean she got involved with a married men and made plans with him to get married while his sick wife is locked up coz she was not herself. If I was Heather I would’ve torn her apart too lol Who is Anne to judge? Can’t wait for her to finally leave. we finally got Lila Quartermaine with a lot of screentime! Alexandria’s Will causes some great Quartermaine tension and Lila kinda putting everyone in their place lol Hell even Susan Moore! Gosh I love that old lady! Luke and Laura. Ugh I love them and I get that during 79-81/82 they were THAT pop culture phenomenon but damn. They really dragged this wedding preparation and getting the divorce from Scotty out. Everyone wants a big party and Luke and Laura getting so many calls and post. This was probably GH’s sneaky way of showing the audience how crazy they are about LnL.it was amusing but I’m quite over it. ONLY thing I loved about that story: Lee Baldwin getting the letter and keeping it! Edgy Lee is amazing. But poor Gail She gets yelled at quite a lot now Alan-Monica. They were quite slow this year even though the Susan Moore story was developed fine. But we are getting there. Monica seems jealous of Alan and Susan’s happiness . Both get stuck in an elevator and She tells him that she doesn’t want a divorce. That was so hilarious! As much as LnL “revived” GH.. Alan-Monica-Lesley-Rick + Heather did too. I love Steve but sometimes he can be so strict and mean lol But I do loved him putting heather in her place when she told him about Jeff’s letter and him wanting a divorce. Steve wasn’t having any of it lol

Thank u so much for all the uploads. I always wanted to see some earlier GL and OLTL. Those episodes were such a delightful surprise for me

It was so good but there were a few bumps in the road but every soap has them. (I loved the German version so much too)

I wonder why they never axed Victoria with that little she has left family wise and story wise. I wouldn’t even notice by now if she was gone for good. I loved her but it would free up some salary. Axing Leyla was upsetting but definitely a wise move coz there was nothing to do with her anymore. Amelia on the other hand I can’t get my head around. April will be found and she seems been through a lot and I’m like: no one cares! Axe her!

Was the 1996 primetime Special Counted as a regular Episode number ?

I would say 1984 there are 3 episodes missing between January and February and from mid feb 84 its all complete

@Liberty City Thank u so much. This I’ve checked it out I remember 2004 very well. It had Skye in it. That’s where I started with Neighbours as a kid. Took a break and got back in like 07-08 @Skylover Thank u to you too. I’ve watched a few over the night so far from that collection and I’ve decided that I’m giving 1996 a shot. The opening is so corny like 20 something’s would actually invite a young boy to their pool party lol I really enjoyed what I’ve watched from the 80’s but it is so old fashioned for me right now. I remember my country aired like the first 3 years of that show and I’ve watched it here and there. I even got the DVDs and watched like the first 100 episodes and took a break coz of work and life. But I will go back to that. is anyone going to that 40th anniversary show? I really want to but the line up ain’t even that exciting tbh. I would just travel to meet Libby and Drew but the rest is meh

How well received was Neighbours during the mid 90’s til 99? Does someone know? From what I saw in my collections and promos it seemed like they were aiming for the primetime 90210 and home and away kinda vibe and hype. I don’t remember much from that era but I’m fascinated by Billy and Anne. Was Anne well liked by the audience ?? She seems so interesting This is so corny and really too much 90’s but I can’t look away for some odd reason. I really want to watch Neighbours but don’t know which era. I’m so conflicted. I want to watch Kylie Minogues era from the 80’s, Dione/Dee and toadies 2002-2003 and flick.. but I also want to watch like 2015-2016 with Tyler, Piper, Jack, Paige and 2018-2019 with Kyle, Roxy and Chelly. I wanted to watch summer-Tash-Andrew too but o already saw them live back then so I will skip that for now. what would u guys suggest ?

Roxy was one of my favorites that kept this show exciting back then. Without Kyle I see as long as she leaves to go back hole to him I’m fine
