  1. Kind of off topic but Peter Bergman is truly one of the nicest people.
  2. I am truly so bored watching Days. Where’s the story? When will something happen?
  3. Leslie is totally Vernon and Barbara’s child. Saw that a mile away.
  4. My understanding is that Hamburger’s role (like John Fisher before him) handles bill paying and the business/budget side of the production, which is something he has a long history of. He is not involved with story at all.
  5. I can’t get past the ridiculousness of the trial. Belle not excusing herself because of the conflict of interest in sleeping with the opponent. EJ defending Johnny. Leo being a juror while writing about the trial in the gossip rag. Bad writing on so many levels. Not impressed with Cwickly/Ford.
  6. Days is boring without Ron Carlivati. The new writers are terrible! Nothing happens.
  7. I long for the days when JFP was at GL. GL ended with Peapack, quite a step down. Ugh.
  8. Welcome back! She’s a daytime icon. She’s a Producer so she is not involved in story. As long as Josh is there……
  9. I gotta admit, Sami and Marlena got to me today. Tears were flowing. Well done, Deidre and Alison.
  10. Joe Willmore was EP and he was awful. He wasn’t as bad as GL show killer Ellen Wheeler in the line of GL EP’s but he’s right up there.
  11. Definitely the Jon & Tammy story on GL was the grossest ever. Disgusting. Ellen Wheeler and the god awful Jill Lorie Hurst have, very thankfully, never worked in daytime again. No exec will hire them after that debacle. Cousins? Just disgusting and gross.
  12. Thank you GOD that Ellen Wheeler never worked again in daytime after killing GL! Kissing cousins. Gross. Peapack? Ridiculous idea by Ellen Wheeler. She killed GL.
  13. Do the other soaps really listen to fans? I see just as much complaining about the other soaps as I do about Days. Even the newest soap, BTG is written and recorded months in advance. Days has found a formula that works for the show and keeps it on the air until at least 2028. Good for them.
  14. Good for Ken and Days. To score a 2 year renewal is great. I think he’s a genius to keep banking episodes months in advance. By the time 2028 rolls around, Days will have episodes recorded into 2040 so Peacock will have no choice but to keep renewing the show.
  15. Great news! Well deserved. And pfffftt to that long fired NBC Executive who said Days wouldn’t last beyond 2009. Thrilled to have Days to at least 2028!
  16. Notice how Michele Val Jean loves Ron and reached out to him to write for BTG. Ron will be fine. Hopefully his show will get picked up.
  17. Sorry. My bad. I misunderstood. I wish Ron was still writing the show, but yes it was claimed on here that the show would still be using his outlines for a long time, which is ludicrous.
  18. I never said that. Ever. You recall incorrectly.
  19. Days is so boring these ‘days’. The new writers aren’t doing the job of keeping and adding viewers. Yawn.
  20. I love RB and GR too. Soapy seems to be very successful so far so obviously many people love them. I didn’t know much about Sheila Ducksworth before this interview. I loved her immediately and her enthusiasm. I’m a new fan of hers thanks to this interview.
  21. I love my Leo! So glad the new writers get him. Leo is the best part of Days.
