Well, I hope Lauren Koslow is dusting off her resume and sending her reel to Brad Bell...B&B could do with a Margo Lynley return and my concern about the size of the DAYS cast, let alone its budget, has me wondering on whose staying and whose going.

Sure! Her, I would enjoy Macy back too and I think Kristian Alfonso might fit in there

Hearing more and more about how shocked everyone is about the news, hence the near radio silence. Right now I'm told things will remain status quo but to expect announcements on changes in the next 2-3 weeks as we get closer to the shift. Things are still being worked out behind the scenes despite NBC's shock announcement.

Days of our Lives will remain eligible for Daytime Emmys in all categories despite the move to Peacock.

As an aside, now I know why Peacock advertises on SON so much even though I myself don't use the service often. Last time I watched anything on it (and not on my computer to be clear) was several months ago when I wanted to see what happened on Manifest.

The only change i want is NBC aborting the whole thing!

Speaking of advertisers... The Talk one on here is annoying me big time!๐Ÿ˜‚

    +1

THAT [!@#$%^&*] IS GETTING ON MY NERVES, WHY I'M GETTING THAT TOO IF I LEAVE HALF A CONTINENT AWAY?

  3. Also Without Days, The Daytime Emmys will be a bigger Joke than ever!

Good or bad that show has some talents, let's face it the decay of The Soap Genre is a consequence of the Shrinking Competition and Budget, the less competition the less effort, that's why soaps have increasingly made less effort to be good entertainment, and Turning itself into the Joke it has long been said to be

I mean after everything she went through in her life? I always wanted her to have a good ending. I donโ€™t think that the murder was alright but she was quiet out of character anyway.

You know what? Me too! Marty went through H E L L and Back at least twice, it was pain thatย  made her loose it, I was so glad she finally got a shot at happiness, and in the end she did try to make amends before leaving didn't she?

The problem is most of the older viewers who would use a streaming service are probably not who would be sitting through a soap, especially not one that is as poor as DAYS has been in recent years. I hope they make it work but this feels like a death sentence to me.

The PAINFUL Truth, I really wanted to Days To Survive until 2026, as I Hope GH will at least reach it's 60th Anniversary, I'll seriously try to see how I could get myself to influence the producers into doing a decent Anniversary next year, it's a Milestone Budget should be easier to justify than usual

Cool and thanksย :)ย You just have to download the file, then go into the Vault, open the appropriate folder, or create one, and drag the file into the window (or click Upload to find it on your computer). Then it will show up as an upload from a Guest Contributor.

Cool, thanks I'll do my best!

And I don't want to take advantage but is there a way to upload that 2010 episode with Lauren and Sarah, and The Last Wedding of Brooke and Ridge from back in 2018? I think they were episodes 7770 to 75 if I'm not mistaken, I really would so love to see those but The BB Vault is now empty on the 2010's, but just if possible please I really don't want to abuseย

No matter who he plays, he'll eat the screen time up like PacMan with his anti-personality. Just like OLTL, just like Roswell NM.

I gotta agree, I think that's why they decided to make his Todd unhinged then Not Todd at all, he was More physically Appealing Than RH IMO, But I would pick RH and his Acting ANY DAY over TSJ

Suds, do you have a way to download those episodes on Peacock? I had the impression by many of your posts at least, I tried 5 VPNs that Bird is Tough!

I figured this was coming eventually, but I'm shocked at the amount of notice they're giving viewers to make the transition. They should have had time to do a big NBC send-off on broadcast and do some major cliffhangers to get people to transition. It doesn't seem like they're going to get that UNLESS they knew about this months ago which I doubt.

I'm reading that Peacock is floundering. They're stuck at 13 million subscribers and not increasing. If DAYS has been streaming well, I can see them doing this to get some sort of bump in their subscriber base. But, I really question how many viewers will PAY for the show at this point. If they were going to stream it for free to get people to the app, I'd be a little more hopeful. It sort of feels like execs are throwing things at the wall to justify Peacock. This many streamers is not viable in the long run. People are only going to pay for so many subscriptions. And, if DAYS doesn't give them the bump they need, I'm sure the show is on the way out.

The hopeful part of me thinks that this could be a way to modernize the show, its storytelling, and its writing. The Beyond Salem seasons have been much richer and interesting than the mother show. Will they allow the show to be more daring in its storytelling? But, if they're already 8 months ahead, that's way off, and it may be too late to change course in time. Unless....they knew this was coming, which, again, I doubt. I would welcome a smaller cast, stories that feel more "today" and for God's sake, less of this Dr. Rolf/mask wearing/constantly coming back from the dead crap. After a while, no story has consequences as a result.

I'll say! Probably why it was so easy to get my hands on Beyond Salem To Watch! While The Mother Show has been out of my reach for months

I just remembered that B&B reached another daytime history milestone. On Monday July 18, B&B moved past Search for Tomorrow (both CBS and NBC runs) to become the 8th longest-running daytime drama on US network television. As of today, the 10 longest-running daytime dramas on US network television are General Hospital, Guiding Light, Days, As the World Turns, Y&R, One Life to Live, All My Children, B&B, Search for Tomorrow, Another World.

Good to know, kinda comforting in the middle of this storm

That they are going to make Days a premium program is what's going to kill it. Not enough will pay to see it.

I personally would definitely not pay to see any new episodes either. But if they were to upload their old episodes from 1965-1995, then they'd have a customer ๐Ÿ˜Š

My only problem with that is that it will probably cause a Witch hunt for any episodes from the time, I'll have to run if I want to save all I have access to and put them in my personal collection, Now doesn't seem so random for Ms. Goldie's channel to have been brought down! REALGOODTV is quite petty with episodes of The Doctors, a closed Facebook Group I'm part of recently had a few 1980 ones shared for members only to watch, apparently we had a spy...๐Ÿ™„

Same with some Y&R channels lately๐Ÿฅถ

CBS will be the last standing with soaps. Soon ABC will cancel GH and move it to Hulu to just fizzle out.

    ๐Ÿฅถ

I almost feel ashamed of saying that, but could a Generous soul be so kind that if they have access to these free episodes while they're still available and has any way of Downloading/Saving them be so good to let me have them too? I know most of you are saying the show is crap right now but I still would like to watch while I can, and since there's so little time left I'm just swallowing my pride here
