The final NBC episode is Friday September 9. That's almost 15 years to the date that Days became NBC's only daytime drama (September 10, 2007). Days NBC run will total 56 years 305 days (November 8, 1965 to September 9, 2022).
I'm pretty afraid of that, Only 4 soaps left and now one is being exiled to Streaming, I hope and will be praying it turns out to be an Experiment and if it doesn't work out, NBC will get it back on the schedule, It would also help if Fans would make some sound and boycott the substitute programs, I can only hope for that since they seem to have done that out of the blue

If they didn't tape 20 years ahead then they could have a goodbye episode/week join us now on Peacock.
And as they don't seem to have thought very much ahead, it probably won't happen and It will suck big time! Yeah my dream of sewing Deidre get that Emmy will probably die on the way

Well this is interesting. I have Comcast so as of this moment I have peacock premium so will be able to continue . I started watching in 1965 (yes, I'm old, 79 next week) but know how to stream so will continue watching regardless. I'd like to see a smaller cast and a lot less of the current Sci fi stuff that's airing now.
Happy Birthday in Advance! Yes I would love if they cut the crap! But I'm not sure A smaller Cast would work, if anything they should try to renew the writing team

I feel your pain. I remember I was in total shock and denial when I heard of ATWT cancellation. It was my soap since I was 9 years old.
I feel for you guys, Here in Brazil we don't have soaps so while not the same I know the feeling because during the pandemic "Chaves" something I watched since I can remember was taken off the air, it was painful because never before I realized how much that silly little comedy was part of my life, It really must suck!!!! The only bright side I can see is the possibility of They making classic episodes available

Back in the day when the writing was good I watched for the stories but now it's all about the hot guys. What else do you have when the writing is garbage?
The Hot Gals but I know that doesn't count for you lol There are a few Good Scenes once in a while, but as I stated endlessly I hardly ever get to watch, especially since March when the Torrents stopped appearing, now my hopes are even lower

They are eight months ahead. Do you really want to see Marlena nude?
No Thanks! Deidre's Face may look young but one pick at her Wedding Dress to Stevano and I realized her Fountain of Youth dried up, actually I don't watch a Soap for Nudity I Watch it For the OTT drama, if I wanted Nudity I would Be watching Netflix or something like that

Actually pregnancy can make a woman look more Beautiful, She, like Tylo back in the 1990's if you know what I mean, Must've kept herself healthy and didn't gain too much overweight, And Pregnancy leaves a Woman full with Estrogen, try to take a Look at an Actual Pregnant Woman you know and you'll see

I haven't watched today's show. Days is not must tv like other soaps. I'm going to be posting much less on the Days threads because no point in posting when changes have never been made.
And Now You're not going To Be The Only One!

Yeah. This soap is clearly ending in 2023. Whatever episodes they're producing now will be the final ones. That's a choice.
If they were smart they would try streaming classic Episodes First, Now They'll be KILLING that Soap! My God I so Wanted To See Sazanne and Deidre Reach Their 50th Anniversaries

Ron Carlivati doesn't care about this soap. All he cares is hyping his horrific writing on Twitter and doing this...apparently he's been to orgies...not saying the poster was wrong...
Pray Tell them, is it or isn't it? Because i got no clue whatsoever

True - for the most part, the men on B&B tend to be supporting characters in the women's storylines. But it's the women who have most of the agency and whose point of view is usually explored. I still think there have been a fair amount of interesting male characters (and Clarke is definitely one of them) but they are rarely as "deep" or layered as the women and often fill a single plot function whereas the women are a lot more well-developed.
Ridge and Liam I'm Looking At You!!!

True, Nick Marone and Owen Knight was kinda The Same, of course Nick was a Sidekick for longer than one would expect

Mark is liking tweets sbout signing a new contract so I'm pretty sure he is.
Thanks for the info, I sure hope he does, if only they went back to What The Newman Kids Were Supposed to Be, and As I'm A Dreamer I would find it so much fun if Y&R did it like GH with The Recasts appearing for the Anniversary Imagine, scenes with the 2(3/4) Victorias, 3 Sharons, 4 Adams, 3 Abbys, an especial appearance of Original Nikki, The 3 Phyllis (Of Course Gina would be hard to get now), The Jills! But I know I dream too much

If Mark Grossman didn't resign I would say he's Adam. This guy looks so much like Muhney.
Yeah but this time too old! I hope Grossman stays on as Adam he's no Tony Geary but He Is The most Age Appropriate Adam So far, looks Good (oh yes because this is soooo necessary right
) and can act

I think he maybe wayyy too young to play that. Even thought about a returned Andy Richards, but even that would be a few years too young.
Unless Y&R goes the undead route again (I have two men in mind) with this I’m at a loss of who this mysterious role is for sure.
Cross your fingers
and let's pray it is Indeed Brooks or Chuckie then

Yes. Tucker mcCall Kays son, Devons father.
While I wouldn't mind Isn't St. JOHN too young??? I mean it would mess up the entire story behind his conception? Wasn't he supposed to be around Jill's Age

The portrait of Robin’s Dorian is intended to be a different portrait from the Nancy/Claire one commissioned by Victor. It replaced the portrait of his late wife, Eugenia, in the Llanfair library. Cassie had the Robin portrait commissioned as a gift to her mother after Dorian bought Marty’s house out from under her and had it renovated.
Wow! Thanks for the info!

OK the Ideal Effort would Be, either announcing it properly and it Getting to streaming On The Next Season or The Next Anniversary not saying that out of the blue and giving us 1 month to process this major change, second be smart and See What could be done to increase the audience before the change, get a group to avail the pre taped episodes see where the best opening would be to Retool the storylines, if peacock wants exclusivity give them the Axed Episodes as Alternative Days, them make the needed changes to accommodate it to streaming, and Fire the writing team if necessary if they can't do a proper job, It might've took time And Money but It sure would bring much money back to them too
