  1. CW Seed did have an actual remaster of the series. A couple of previews (screen captures only): I genuinely don't know why the remaster isn't available again!!
  2. Same. Though, part of me wishes we could have gotten Cynthia Watros vs. Maura West, because that would've been iconic.
  3. Considering Crimson Lights is more of a local hot-spot, I don't mind it not getting updated. It's nice seeing a Bell-era establishment still exist. Besides, most hot-spot local places don't get major updates, any way.
  4. Yes, and Nina ripped Avery right from Ava's womb and kidnapped her, with the assistance of Madeline. I doubt they moved every single set across the country. I'm pretty sure [most] sets were re-built and expanded. I mean, the Chandler mansion was practically re-done.
  5. Crimson Lights got a semi re-design a few years back when the ordering bar/cash wrap was updated. I think this is the full set, which was from when the set first debuted; what we had in the final few years we had it, it wasn't as full... or we, at the very least, didn't see the full set. But nothing was modified.
  6. I don't think they had much time to recast Pullos, based on when her arrest/accident was and when Kate Mansi was announced as being cast. My guess is it was likely a two-to-three day from Pullos alerting TPTB she'd be unable to work, and then they went into an immediate recast casting call.
  7. So, Faith is back... hmm.... Josh Griffith is incapable of handling this. But the musical cue? Such an improvement.
  8. Haha. Exactly. But it's a matter of Sony Pictures Television at this point. And considering the sale of CBS Television City, we will see what happens. Kate Mansi slipped right into the role of Kristina. Holiday Mia Kriegel, however, missed every single mark she should have made. Very, very stiff and emotionally disconnected. If they need a long-term replacement, I'd urge them to search for someone else.
  9. Definitely!!!!!! And give him a genuine romance that was worth while. But, because the "writer" wasn't attractive, he ended up doing everything he said he wouldn't, and ruined it.
  10. Makes my heart happy, too. I'd love to see some other sets come on over, too! Now, if only we could've snatched the head-writer, too, but we did not. And The Young and the Restless suffers from no over-night crew, so a lot of the sets are permanently up. Getting the GCAC was a major win.
  11. Re-watching clips, Billy Warlock was amazing as AJ. If anything, bring him back as AJ, bring back Robert Adamson as Michael and you've got casting GOLD!
  12. Front door (AMC vs. GH): Main living, with fireplace and staircase off to the right (AMC vs. GH): Instead of double-doors going outdoors, it is replaced with an opening to the kitchen, I believe? I feel like [some] sets didn't move across the country and were practically re-built for the west coast production. The Chandler mansion did change a bit. NGL, I do wish the HD production at All My Children had moved to General Hospital.
  13. The O.G. design was cute, but I did like the re-model. The problem is a lot of sets were re-painted when Frank Valentini came in, and they went from HD cameras to non-HD ones, so it all began looking yellow no matter what.
  14. Pieces of Erica's penthouse are also Nina's apartment (formerly Ava's NY penthouse/Lucy's NY penthouse). That set has pieces that have been recycled many times.
  15. 💯 Josh Griffith is not the one to handle this return.
  16. I agree. I love that she has that. And Ava's former penthouse/Nina's current penthouse was Ava's former NYC apartment / Lucy's former NYC apartment and was taken from Erica Kane's final penthouse set. And the "bar" set they use whenever in New York or somewhere overseas is Krystal's restaurant. Ah yes, that set. Felt very small-town. I remember that well. But did Michael ever return to that house? The change in angle was unfortunate, even though it did appear to be a bigger set after all. But you could tell when they did not want to build the dining room, because the doors would be closed in the entryway. Hah. I didn't necessarily hate the re-paint... but I hate it in Elizabeth's home now.
  17. Oh. Don't remind me of the backwards doors. My goodness.
  18. It was Jax's home, rented it out to Brook Lynn after he left town, and then it was sold to Curtis & Portia. The set was previously used on All My Children for David Hayward and later Michael Nouri's Caleb. This one? Or the one they had before?
  19. I don't think they got complaints. The previous set was also a pain to shoot, according to set designer Jennifer Elliott, and that Frank Valentini wanted to put some budget into the mansion. She told Soap Opera Digest: Her plan was to do a traditional soap set, but Frank Valentini told them to go modern: And watching HGTV, it makes sense. So many homes you see on those renovation shows also resemble what Monica did to the Q house, and I imagine her sitting watching one of those shows and going, "This is what I'm doing! Alan gave me this house and Tracy is gone! Now's the time!" And I think that's also why Sonny's home got the remodel; shooting was difficult, plus, it needed to happen.
  20. SOAPNet never gave a definitive reason why a third season wasn't produced. Frons stated after the first season crews were "getting tired" from the dual-serial production. And TV Guide Canada reported in December 2008 the network had "no plans" to work on a third season. Shame. And Jagger returned to California following Night Shift.
  21. I'd be here for it, honestly. As of May 24, 2023, episode: Krista Allen (Taylor Hayes) Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester) Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer) Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester Dominguez) Don Diamont (Bill Spencer Jnr) Joshua Hoffman (R.J. Forrester) Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) John McCook (Eric Forrester) Annika Noelle (Hope Logan Spencer) Tanner Novlan (John Finnegan) Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) Heather Tom (Katie Logan) Diamond White (Paris Buckingham) Jacqueline McInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester Finnegan) Because, Bradley Bell does not care. Once you're dropped to recurring you can essentially kiss your time on this soap goodbye.
