In all honesty, it was an ill-conceived story in returning Nicole's sister to the canvas, and the fact the role was thee for less than a year proves that. 🤣

Ava slept with John? Must've blocked that one out. And ah yes, the Taylor months... wasteful recast, when Natalia Livingston worked effectively well, if not, better than Braun ever did.

I think Tamara Braun & Eric Martsolf will have some solid chemistry. But character-wise, it's a NO!

Neither work for me, and I've hated Wilson since All My Children, so neither would be a loss for me. I've taken to O'Brien as Theresa, but I don't see the need for either on the canvas right now. Invest a bit of money, re-write and re-tape five-to-six months worth of material. Just do it.

Oh, I see them all going, since they've essentially been pets of the "writer" the entire time. Clean-sweep it to bring back some classic, true-to-heart characters. Mhmm. It baffles me when they should've been less than that, as they aired taped material until through [most] of the 2020 era of the pandemic... so, sometime in the interim they quite honestly sped-taped things. And it showed. Quite disappointing.

IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!! This has to be the best news coming out of Days of Our Lives since it was announced A.A. was OUT as co-executive producer. The exit of the "writer" was long overdue. Several years, in fact. April 2025 is when I'll likely come back to viewing this soap, because it's been unwatchable since February 2019, when Sheri Anderson's material was last factored in. Being nine months tape-to-stream is ridiculous and needs to stop. Last of names I suspect to be dropped in the coming weeks/months: Blake Berris, Jackée Harry, Emily O'Brien, Greg Rikaart & Robert Scott Wilson, and I suspect the Last Blast crew will be returning by the year's end. He's never going to The Young and the Restless. Just know that. It's not happening.

This looks brilliant, and knowing I visited the set makes it even more cool.

I enjoyed her as Diane; they were recasting anyway, and she was prime for the picking. It's just Maria Arena didn't want her, and got rid of her the first moment she got. Oh, absolutely!!!! FIRE!

The way, in the early days, she would slither around was... so perfect. I remember a scene, opposite William deVry's Julian where she proclaimed she was a Jerome, and then proceeded to stroke her own wrist and it was just... masterful. She played every beat then and she plays it now. I'm disappointed we did not get more Eileen Davidson vs. Maura West on The Young and the Restless when West was Diane. That would've been magic. She just knows what she's doing; she's a woman in a man's world, and she's playing it her way.

I sure as Hell did not.

I wouldn't care about Ava under anyone else; West was made for Ava in the same way she was made for Carly. Two amazing original characters, two different roles and West encapsulates them both so well.

Surprisingly, I am, too.

Maura West can turn legitimate dogshït into gold. She is that fücking amazing.
