  1. Mhmm, but Sony Television severely cut Y&R's budget... even going as far as to remove the over-night set crew, hence why we generally had community sets.
  2. Possibly, but I do know cutting budget did not help things out, especially at CBS.
  3. Credits for Tuesday, October 15, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Emily Culliton, Charlotte Gibson, Anne Schoettle Director: Robert Markham
  4. It's definitely giving Beyond the Gates vibes. The role of "Patrick" might definitely be his, which would be a big snag for both him and the soap.
  5. I have to say: I love the support between Daphnee Duplaix & Karla Mosley on Instagram since the announcement of their casting. I love that.
  6. I thought Judy Blye Wilson was still casting director?! Damn. But yes, they need a casting director, amongst other roles within the company.
  7. Well, as clearly stated in the article, they listened to the audience feedback and reversed their decision.
  8. No offense but, obviously not, since that's not how it was taken by someone (and that someone being me). So, realistically, it does change the so-called "fact" that it meant "the same thing". To you, maybe, but not to someone else (me). 👍🏻 Oh, I fully realize this, but it is also the casting director who brings said-talent to the executive in-charge. So, in ways, the casting director is still responsible for those cast. Mark Teschner is still one of the best and even with some flop castings, it's still Frank Valentini who I do not trust. I'm honestly surprised we got Van Hansis & Alexa Havins cast; those two, to me, feel more Disney ABC selected than Valentini.
  9. Marnie Saitta is good... but [some] of what she's brought to Days of Our Lives is beyond questionable....
  10. Plus, under his production, Arianne Zucker returned after leaving. He did do some solid good for that soap during his time there.
  11. No. He must be eliminated.
  12. You used a wink emoji; smirk would have changed the context, so now I understand the intent you were meaning.
  13. And what about it? Looks like over-done CGI/AI work, which isn't impressive.
  14. No way that little bitch just punched Kat, my Kat Slater, in the fücking face.
  15. All caught up on Neighbours, now dipping back into EastEnders right with David Wick's return!
  16. Credits for Monday, October 14, 2024: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Micah Steinberg, Stacey Pulwer, Anne Schoettle Director: Gary Tomlin
  17. Shame; his recent visit wasn't that bad, but was part of a bad storyline... hoping we can either get Critchlow back, or simply recast the role... again.
  18. If I recall, Weiss left Days of Our Lives to pursue "other opportunities," and soon landed the NBC mini-series The Big One: The Great Los Angeles Earthquake and then joined the remake of Dark Shadows.
  19. American soaps would be a goldmine is they did the same... instead, we get dialogue like, "Shriner's Hospital for Children are so amazing for helping children without charging parents a penny." "Yes, omg, it's so amazing for Shriner's Hospital for Children to do that."
