I didn't hate the 2013 set at all. It felt very warm. It just wasn't a "ranch" set.

No; the new house was built following the ranch fire. Nikki & Victor moved into the penthouse, and during an episode, even stated: architects had drawn up plans for a new main house to be built, and the house debuted in March 2013 for the 30th anniversary.

Perhaps Cat wears her hair naturally curly, and was straightening it while posing as Abigail? That's always an option. I'm sure there will be, but the description (when it was The Gates) was focusing on a "wealthy Black family" in a gated community. So, this was known to us. The Thomases are not related (that we know of) and we have the other recurring characters.

Daniel / David. Praying this shït is fixed in their actual final names, lmfao. And their seven-year old children, both siblings. Wonder if they'll be an inter-racial couple raising inter-racial children? Now that in a political setting would be.... interesting!

Joseph is marrying the woman he had an affair with, and that is Bill marrying Hayley. Per the casting breakdown: "Joseph, an attorney who is engaged to Elizabeth following their affair" "Elizabeth, a paralegal, engaged to Joseph following an extra martial affair" "Sara" in the breakdowns was always referred to as the ex-wife of "Joseph," and "Sara" became Dani. But the breakdown for "Joseph" lines up more with Bill Hamilton, Nicole's ex-husband. They could have SWAPPED the backstory, or Soap Hub mis-reported who "Joseph" was the ex-husband of.

CHEAP! Just call it what it is: CHEAP! Actress probably brought it from her own home.
