  1. Yeah; I'm seeing other posts suggesting people are cutting lines, and time restrictions are not being honoured, while some lines aren't even moving. Wouldn't be surprised if some left.
  2. Unfortunately, choosing the end of October to be the exit was difficult... as it conflicts with Halloween, ultimately. And we're going to continue to get fall-out into this upcoming week. It's overall just messy. Again, the downside to block-shooting, over shooting episodes as pieces themselves.
  3. Eh. I never bought into the Cruz & Eden hype, honestly.
  4. Well, truthfully, neither Peacock nor Paramount+ were real stable in my usage of them until.. maybe two or three months ago, lmao, so maybe that caused some issues? Supposedly, Peacock added 2.8 million subscribers during the first week of the 2024 Summer Olympics. And, according to Sportico (with citing to Antenna), Comcast stated that Peacock had 33 million paid subscribers in a recent filing. Again, not concrete. And Paramount+ is down 68.4 million (as of June 30, 2024).
  5. Is it losing money, though? Everywhere I have looked, I've seen that subscriptions have gone up with recent streaming events.
  6. Doubt he knew that nine months ago, though. Logic doesn't work like that, especially where the "writer" is concerned, especially since he exit was "effective immediately".
  7. Well, we know historian Ronald loves to retcon everything.
  8. Wow. Just, wow. Imagine a Presidential candidate that treats another human being with compassion and heart, instead of mocking them at a rally?
  9. I'm watching October, and all I have to say is: I pray this new costumer designer fixes things, 'cause it's just hitting October in Genoa City, and Sharon is in ill-fitting pleather pants and a blouse that does not match. It's a mess. Super-duper MESS! Make it make sense, please!
  10. Hopefully!! This soap, as you stated, can still be turned around, and judging by the returns we've been told are coming by May and June of 2025, I have faith that Paula Cwikly & Jeanne Marie Ford know what needs to be done, and that the upcoming returns won't be story-dictated in masks or retcon stories.
  11. I agree, and it gives me hope that there is some kind of faith in the present regime that they decided to provide a one-year renewal.
  12. Nothing was outlined in the casting breakdowns or cast announcements, so unless it's back story, I'm pretty sure what we know of their careers is where their source of income is from.
  13. So, he knew nine months ago he was joining? But didn't leave the soap until five months ago? yeah. That timeline makes so much sense.
  14. Uhm... Vernon is a retired Senator and Anita was once a successful singer. Not that curious I'd suspect.
  15. It really did not; it broke up every single emotive piece and really made it rough to follow. Had it been me, all Sam related scenes from Thursday & Friday would have been in ONE episode (Thursday) when the non-Sam scenes from both days would have aired on Friday. The choice to break things up felt like an odd and wrong choice.

  17. Alexis calling Jason a "common thug who would do anything to protect his boss. You're a puppet. You're an errand boy. You're a shadow. You're nothing and you think nothing of going after anyone who's weaker than you, less experienced than you."
  18. They did well in the earlier episodes of the season... whew.
