  1. Hate to spoil you but Brown has not taken the role over.
  2. My oh my! They're really making it, aren't they?! I'm shivering in absolute fear.
  3. Please, no. Please, no. Please, no.
  4. I agree; it's beyond riveting, and those fans? Whew. Go many, you don't even see them. 👻
  5. Nope; it's the main four Duprees, and then the remaining 16 contract cast (split up into two groups of eight) listed in alphabetical order, which is a fair way of doing it.
  6. Yes, he is at GH. It was revealed at the end of February when both his social media changed, and Jillian Bowe of Daytime Confidential stated as such in a podcast on that website.
  7. Well, the opening is only contract players, and outside of the main four (Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnée Duplaix, Karla Mosley), they are all listed in alphabetical order. So, assuming Keith D. Robinson will replace Martin Johnson in the same opening lineup ("opening B"), the new listing would be: Tamara Tunie Clifton Davis Daphnée Duplaix Karla Mosley Alex Alegria Lauren Buglioli Sean Freeman Ben Gavin Trisha Mann-Grant Ambyr Michelle Colby Muhammad (current closing face) Keith D. Robinson (new closing face)
  8. date: Tuesday, March 25 | Ron Carlivati, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Anita is an angel in white! Dani ordering her juice, but with a splash of vodka for her screwdriver. And Pamela mention but don't see her? Such a shame. Bill mispronouncing Tómas as "Thomas" is annoying, but feels real, too. Naomi is dropped already? Oh, that's not going to do, and it's going to drive her to fight for those three women so much more. Anita knows what's up with Chelsea and has a sense of how Dani is going to react. Martin is losing it. Absolutely losing it. A hot-headed missile rocket ready to launch. The Anita? I love that bag; I will take one of those bags. I love the support Anita continues to have for her granddaughters. It's so sweet. A true family matriarch through and through. Well, Vernon just got an early morning surprise (re: Dani's "freshly squeezed" orange juice). Daddy to the rescue? Bradley is too good for Martin. I've felt this since the beginning. Martin does not deserve the love and support that Bradley provides him, despite how piss-poor he treats the person who's meant to be his life partner. Dani Dupree is brat? Oh c'mon. These two... whew. It's almost too much to handle. Derision? Oh, we've got big people's words, and I love hearing them in-script. It's so enriching, and it's smart. Mike is truly scum; I could tell from the first moment he stepped onto the scene, and she continues to be scum. Everything I hate about men. I wonder if Tómas will flip on Bill/Mike, in a bid to put his name out there as a lawyer in the D.C./Maryland area. It'd be smart for him to do that. Collateral damage? Oh, what is this secret? Oh, and not a request? When Vernon means business, he means business. Whew! That stare from Anita when Vernon tells Martin to "kill this"? That look would haunt me if I didn't do what I was told. Bill versus Naomi. Here we go. Ew. Martin is so defiant towards his grandparents, and it's absolutely disgusting. He's got to be taken down multiple pegs back to humbleland, if he's ever been there before. And now Bradley knows what Martin has been hiding, and I don't blame him for being pissed. He can't go back into his journalism career, all because his selfish, demeaning "husband" is going for the presidency? Foolish. Bradley versus Martin? Is that what we're about to get. I suspect Mike Manning (Bradley) will be carrying these scenes. Both Bill and Dani snapping against each of their daughters? Oh, how the tables will be spinning.

  11. I don't think it's messy, because from my perspective, it's him thanking the 19 other contract players in the acting company he likely grew close to during his time on that set. It's couples linked together (Nicole/Ted, then Dani/Bill) as the children of Anita Dupree, with the children of Nicole/Ted and Dani/Bill listed underneath; from Marquita Goings (Hayley Lawson) on down who knows?
  12. How is it messy to tweet out the call sheet? I think it's awesome to see the callsheet, even if there is some typeface issues with one or two of the actors/characters. But seeing how they categorize everyone is interesting.
  13. We can only hope; it's long overdue at this point.
  14. The way that person instigated this, and then tried to backtrack their own words is hilarious to me. And this is why you don't believe pinch pieces by these no-name "journalists". People online are so gullible, and it truly makes me question a lot of people's mental states.
  15. We have to remember: this didn't happen as the episodes were airing... this happened before the soap premiered (about three-to-four months), so there must have been something TPTB saw that they wanted changed.
  16. It's definitely telling how he's forming his words; disappointing, but again, I am excited to see where Keith D. Robinson takes the role of Ted.
  17. I am excited for him; he is a fantastic talent, and I cannot wait to see him in the role of Ted. I think great things are to come.
  18. date: Monday, March 24 | Gregori J. Martin, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Steven Williford Anita is looking F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!! A true Queen in her home. We cannot help but L.O.V.E. it. But Luke? Who is Luke? Another son?! Or... someone else? And the Anita Dupree Experience? Sign me up! Michelle Obama (a.k.a. Jacob) is looking good in his role as detective, and again, his chemistry with Naomi is wonderful!! They're connected. Douglas already lying through his gambling teeth? Ooh. The troubles ahead. And here comes trouble in the form of Joey Armstrong. Loving the relationship between Chelsea and Katherine; loving seeing friendship between family members. It's so refreshing. Eva is turning UP the flirt around Tómas, and I am liking it. Joey looking to buy a house, possibly in Fairmont Crest, using his prey's own wife? Oh, that is juicy and dangerous. I am really appreciating the dialogue between Chelsea and Katherine at Orphey Gene's, and it's revealed what business Katherine had: it was for their upcoming purse line. Interesting. I love that we're getting a very topical and always timely storyline this early, re: sexual harassment in the workplace. So great, and it's being handled so well. So, not only do we have Luke (unknown), but we have Elon's wife, Darlene Hawthorne. Quite interesting. Anita, what have you got up your sassy as fück sleeves? And she's getting the sense of the good old days re: her music career. Could this event serve as her comeback, possibly with Darlene joining her as a new Articulette? Anita and Naomi play well off of each other; you can tell there's a real grandmother-granddaughter connection between them. From sugar daddy to sexy daddy, Ms. Vanessa has the pick of men! I'm so jealous of her. Does Douglas work? I feel like he's never at the hospital, and when he's finally there, Randy pulls him away to go gamble money away? Anita is hardheaded, but she's also loving and very wise. Her wisdom is one I appreciate so much. A true family matriarch through and through. The chemistry is boiling between Katherine and Tómas. I am buying them as a potential romantic couple. Just hoping it doesn't blow up in either of their faces. Chelsea practicing her speech to Dani is hilarious, and we all know it won't end well. Good luck! And love seeing the friendship between Chelsea and Jacob. It's sweet. Oh shït. So Elon knows about Marcel more than he let on; what's going on here? Oh, I am so intrigrued right now! We love a supportive cousin/friend, who isn't pressuring you into making decisions you're not ready to make. What a refreshing point of view. Marcel is a dirty cop! I knew it! It just felt like he was dirty, but is Elon dirty in the same way? I wonder.... We love name-dropping on a soap! Anita has got it; honestly, her rap is classier than anything Cardi B or Megan Thee Stallion could ever come up with. I love it. A natural interaction. It just feels right. Loving it.

  21. The Dobsons' return in 1991 screamed what Sally Sussman's return to The Young and the Restless in 2016 did: "You shut me out. I hate what you've done, so I'm going back to when I was last here and going from there," and it backfired. The Pamela Pepperidge Capwell Conrad recast from Shirley Anne Field to Marj Dusay was very much the Dobsons, who admitted they wanted Dusay over Field, and given Field's later admitting she wasn't a fan of the material she had to play as Pamela, I'm not surprised at the swap. However, from my perspective, Field held more depth. Not to mention the recast of Gina DeMott Capwell from Linda Gibboney to Robin Mattson; Mattson may have been a popular recast, but it completely changed the character of Gina. You're right: it did not to do them favours. If anything, it backfired on them.
  22. Thank fück "fans" (and I quote purposefully) do not write this soap, because they'd tank it harder than it is right now.
