March 10 was her last episodic appearance.

It's definitely a shocker and, without knowing why, it does seem like the 13-week contract cycle hit with this one. Wishing Maurice Johnson well and thank him for the work he's done in the role. But I warmly welcome Keith D. Robinson to the Gates universe. I know he's going to do exceptionally well.

This would suggest a possible 13-week contract cycle change, either by TPTB or by Johnson himself.

I will say, based on recent events I've seen photos from of the past five-to-six years, he's older than the photo Deadline Hollywood provided. I think he's going to do well in the role, especially knowing his work pre-this role.

It is worth noting (not that age matters in soaps), but Robinson is three-years older than Johnson, so this is an age-up for the role.

We don't know if Maurice Johnson chose to leave or not; he could've opted to exit the role. We don't know yet. Or perhaps they took the character in a different direction. I do know that Keith D. Robinson is a strong actor and I do believe he'll be a great successor in the role.

Do you know which date this aired, or? 🙃 Nevermind, found it; it seems like since the fourth episode, the entrance to Ashley's apartment has always been stage right. And in the premiere episode, when Ashley and Derek are to exit, while it isn't seen, it is suggested they do exit stage right. Perhaps the door on stage left is Ashley's closet? Since the door upstage appears to be the washroom/bathroom.

Atlanta still does zero for me, but I will say: it's nice to see some budget [finally] put into their openings.

It's so unfair; stupid sports should be on EPSN or something. Overrated.

I heard she did well this year, so I am not surprised she's being brought back for next year's event.
