  1. It's going to be interesting, and then we'll [likely] get Ashley versus Dani, and that'll be something to see.
  2. I love Miss Ashley, and cannot wait to see how things break down with Derek, and build up with Andre.
  3. date: Monday, March 31 | Gregori J. Martin, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Not macking on your wife's neck while she's on a phone call? Is that really a turnon for people? There's my Ashley! And Shanice! And Dani is working her Dalmatian coat; look out; Cruella DeVil may want it, and put a hood on it! But Dani's magenta lipstain to match the magneta in her blouse? Oh, that's a cvnt detail. So, Bill is trusting Tómas? I love that. And I love Tómas calling Bill "jefe". So good. But let's see what happens with the ladies versus Bill Hamilton, Esq. Things could get messy! Eva versus Katherine is going to be fire. They both have their own spitfire personalities, and it's going to clash heavily for the long term. Not only has Bill gaslit Naomi, but now he's gaslighting Becky, Carrie, and Stefania. I love that Nicole can still see through the façade that Dani is putting up and isn't afraid to call her out on her B.S. It's a refreshing stance on grown siblings, and it isn't coming from a place of displeasure or judgement. You can tell it's from a place of love and care. Ooh, Eva is putting that blow on Katherine. It's kind of fabulous, and you can tell she meant what she was saying. Dani, assuming she's going to be part of Chelsea's new business venture, is giving Phyllis on Y&R trying to get into Marchetti with Summer. It's a good soap trope to follow. A documentary on the new class of nurses as Garland Memorial? Well, well, well... that'll keep Andre in Ashley's orbit more and more, and I love that. Plus, the idea of Ashley versus Dani could be fun. Becky, I knew you'd be the weak one. I'm going to see Carrie and Stefania to keep her in line, or their lawsuit is going to fall apart. Not going to lie, Joey and Vanessa kind of have a vibe together. Could Joey take Douglas' money AND his wife? That would be something, wouldn't it? Naomi is not messing around, and I love it. She is not afraid of going up against the powerful Bill Hamilton, and that makes me excited about seeing what the courtroom scenes will be like. Now, who was Tómas side-eying? The waitress, or was it Joey? Go get yourself some new scrubs, Shanice! You are going to be a bonafied hit, lady! Loving some backstory where Vanessa is concerned and her passion for real estate. I love that. Dani's addictive behaviour is coming out, and it's ruining this experience for Chelsea. I feel so bad for her in this. Tómas is admirable. I really enjoy this character, and I really like the chemistry being built between him and Katherine. I do. Sounds like famous last words from Bill Hamilton, and I look forward to the potential downfall.

  6. Chose to watch Roseanne today on Peacock; they have cropped 16:9 re-edits of the series, but it seems to be A.I. upscaled.
  7. [Some] of the attitudes in the last few posts are absolutely deplorable and reeks of entitlement.
  8. Love situations like this. Those good 'ol soaps days.
  9. Praying this one is good, especially if it's in honour of the late Leslie Charleson. The "new" set looks decent, as well.
  10. So unfortunate, but I guess it also shows you never know what's going on behind closed doors, do you?
  11. No. That was Sherry Carter in the "Sherry" wig.
  12. "Anna" is a hoot and a holler of a personality.
  13. I agree. I saw a completely different episode on Wednesday, and it's semi-baffling to me. We will have to agree to disagree on this one; I find that this soap is doing it miles better than any of the others with their music, and again, the silent scenes (meaning no music) are thoroughly enjoyable to me.
  14. Because, unlike American daytime, primetime television does not use it to sell its drama. It supports it. The music on Beyond the Gates, when used, is supportive of the material. Whereas the other four use it to sell the material. View it as contempt for the genre, but that's on you, not on me.
  15. This one hurts; he's always been my prince from The Slipper and the Rose, but his work was always outstanding. R.I.P. good sir.
  16. There is no way anyone from the GH team (writing or otherwise) is watching another soap when they can't even watch their own to fix the messes they've made/continue to make.
  17. Nah. The one thing I do love about this soap is how it isn't reliant on background music at all. It's refreshing that scenes are allowed to breathe without music drowning everything out. Takes it from cheesy (like the other soaps) to mature (like this soap).
  18. The premise, while predictable, does feel like it does not need to be told. But congratulations to him.
