  1. Except they kept the communal lots for easier use for a more widespread use of actors. Realistically, the Jabot set would limit the usage to the Abbotts. Newman does the same, but they also had that small-ass DAYS-like set until recently; meanwhile, the Abbotts always had the Abbott estate. For me, they made the right decision. Returning the GCAC was a huge undertaking, especially in restoring it to its full usage. They have no overnight crew, especially post-COVID, so they needed to be smart about what sets they used, and I believe they made the right choice of sets to use.
  2. Imagine asking for so much, and none of it is going to happen... especially, re: sets, when it's been explained ad naseum why we're in the situation we're in right now. 🤣
  3. This radiates happiness, and I love it! And unlike a certain hospital show, it doesn't look cheap, embarrassing or tacky.
  4. I won't link to SONews anymore going forward.
  5. Oh shït. So sorry, Errol. I had no idea.

  9. date: Friday, April 18 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Phideaux Xavier Well, here we go: the friendship between Nicole and Vanessa is fully being established at this point. If I walked into a home and heard Tamara Tunie both singing and playing piano, I would be timelessly entranced. Oh my, are we finally leveling Shanice out?! It's about damn time. But Douglas is betting on the job? Sir, fix yourself. Joey means business. I kind of like it. "Children fib. Men lie," ⏤ Nicole Dupree Richardson (April 18, 2025). No truer words spoken, Nicole! Cheryl L. Davis nailed that line of dialogue. Loving Pamela's loose wave and the green; plus, a modeling agency? Oh, that's a great idea. Pamela and Dani could be worthwhile businesswomen. Nicole is straight-out calling Vanessa out for having a crush on Joey Armstrong; she's intuitive. And she should be. Joey has Randy by the balls, doesn't he? Scary, intimidating and a man of his own word. I love the use of Tunie's own performance for the use of the Articulettes. You can sense she desires the return to the spotlight and to her former life. This feels like the connection between Anita and Dani. I can guarantee this modeling agency will open, and they will use Cady McClain's recurring status as the reason why she's often not around: she's out scouting for models and working on managing the gigs they're booking. Dani and Naomi practising to surprise Anita is super cute; here comes our performance at Uptown! This is what I was asking for! Uh-oh, Douglas lost a patient. That's going to cause him to go running to Joey and Randy, isn't it? Nicole is seemingly not passing judgment on Vanessa for seeking outside of her marriage; will those same views remain when she finds out that Teddy cheated on her? Well, here comes Joey through the veil of green hospital curtains.

  15. She truly was a class act. From the Soap Central report: ❝ "It was her job," Beck told CBS Soaps In Depth. "She played the role for 20 years. It was sad, because I think a lot of people wanted to see her. I didn't realize when I took the job how loyal the fans are." Though Beck offered to allow Byrne to resume playing Lily through the series' finale, the Emmy-winning actress never returned. According to Byrne, though Beck was willing to step aside, show brass apparently wasn't interested in an "unrecast." "Of course, I would [return] in a second. You have to be asked first. It's like going to the prom -- you wait for the phone call and it may never come," Byrne told Soap Central's Dan J Kroll during an appearance on Soap Central Live back in May. "There's people who make those decisions, and their decisions have been made. It's unfortunate because I do love the show and, of course, I would love to be a part of it again before it goes away forever." As for whether or not Byrne knew of Beck's offer, Byrne told TVGuide Canada's Nelson Branco that she did. "I was aware of this offer by Noelle after the show was cancelled," Byrne revealed. "It was a very unselfish act on her part." ❞
  16. I know, wouldn't it be?! It would just... work! Welcome.
  17. No; it was the second. First occurred on March 24.
  18. It's just got the vibe of a place you'd want to go in, sit down, and enjoy some good food and the company you are with. And I could imagine some kind of open mic night with local talent.
