Diane is not the mother who raised Allie. The Wed. 3/23 Canadian (Thurs US) episode has Diane (as "Taylor Jensen") talking with Allie, and it's obvious Allie doesn't recognize her. During their talk, Jack phones Allie. Interesting to watch Diane's face as she listens to Allie's side of the convo. We know it's really Diane. But the subtitles are calling her "Taylor" which is the fake name she's currently using. It seems like Diane is there pretending to want to buy Keemo's house, as a way to get to Jack. Still no idea who Allie's mother is.

I was dread-speculating that there could be a *theoretical* possibility that this could be Mari Jo Mason with plastic surgery to look like Diane. Dreading this but hoping it's wrong. However, Alan Sarapa swore on twitter that this is really Diane and not a doppelgänger, so hopefully he's right.

This isn't a both sides thing. During the height of the pandemic, not wearing a mask put other people's lives at risk. During the ebbing of the pandemic, wearing a mask doesn't harm others.

As another poster asked, would it be "in character" for Diane to allow Kyle to think she was dead for many years? I've watched a lot of Y&R on and off. But I wasn't watching Y&R during any of the years Diane was active, so I really don't "know" her. From what I've read, it seems like different stints of the character seem to show different levels of interest in Kyle. It's confusing to me.

She had an elaborate plot to fake her death. Then she apparently really died, and there were two autopsies. Maybe she paid off the coroner to use a lookalike for the dead body? LOL I dunno.

I actually think it was good that it was spoiled. The show is so dull now, I had no reason to watch. Knowing she's returning is making me curious.

LOL, there's a reason why I'm not a writer, I don't come up with good words for things! I don't want disney terminology. I was simply hoping there is another (adult) term besides gangbang that means the same thing.

I know that, objectively, the term "gang bang" does not mean the same thing as gang rape. However, I'm female and I find the term to have a rapey overtone. And then when "gang bang" is used as a joke, I feel really uncomfortable. Every women (of any age) that I've ever met dislikes the term. Can't we just call it "fun group sex" or "hot group mutual pleasuring" or any other creative enjoyable term? I have no problem with group sex. I simply dislike that terminology in this context.

A casting call went out to recast Summer for a contract position. Haven't heard anything about Kyle but with Summer returning and Kyle's cousin Allie arriving, it seems likely that we'll get Kyle for a while - either Mealor or someone new.

She was found floating in a river, and they ruled that she died from getting her head bashed in, and then they discovered that she had been injected with a drug that causes shortterm paralysis. She would secretly find her way to Switzerland and retrieve Kyle and go live with him in secret somewhere. It was an elaborate plan (detailed in that soapcentral bio). She had accomplices to help her. I cannot believe that she would have survived the faking of her death, but never reconnected with Kyle. She loved Kyle. Maybe she was sick, injured, had amnesia, etc, and could not get to Kyle? How are they going to explain her being alive after two autopsies? Did she pay off the medical examiner to say the body in the river was hers? Did she have a body double or twin who died in her place? Another option would be that Diane really did die way back when. And Susan Walters is playing someone who looks like Diane? But this is *if* (and only if) Susan Walters is returning.
