Interesting! I missed most of the Jensen Ackles years, except for what I've seen in some historical Lumi and Ericole clips. I do remember the Greta/ Garden of Eden nonsense. I remember watching the OG Ericole scenes on youtube (back when you could do that) ... these were scenes of JA's Eric learning that underage Nicole had been forced by her father to be in porn videos, and how he found the warehouse and reported it and all the videos were destroyed. (That storyline aired before the internet was commonplace, so back in those days, it was plausible that you could destroy physical videotapes and that would be the end of the video being circulated.) JA was really good in those scenes. But I haven't seen any old Eric/Sami clips.

Leo's suit for his wedding to Craig looks new to me. It's different from what Leo wore in his wedding to Sonny:

For opposite-gender twins, I loved Brenda and Brandon on the original Beverly Hills 90210. I wish DAYS had given Sami and Eric that type of relationship. We were robbed of that because teen Sami was brought to Salem while teen Eric was left in Colorado. DAYS still could have given viewers the Sami/Eric twins with some type of adult twin-closeness, but the show never bothered. I keep hoping every year that this will be rectified; but it's been nearly 30 years so I guess I should let that dream go.

That aired March 25 in the US. (Canada and Australia may have aired it a day or two early/late due to an unplanned US preemption on March 24). But it's aired everywhere now.

Greg Vaughan makes me swoon like no other soap actor. And I like that the character Eric is a nice guy. Imperfect, flawed, and a bonus is that he catches himself when he starts to be judgy. Self-aware. The expressions in his eyes and smile are what are what I find hot. I just melt! Right now, for me ... I liked how his character Calvin ended up acknowledging his own hypocrisy and did the right thing. (I won't elaborate so as to not spoil things for anyone who missed recent seasons of Queen Sugar - it's important to watch his scenes unspoiled, because of how that affects things).

This scene (including background music) was in the promo about 5 or 6 weeks ago. It aired in the very last seconds of today Friday (but without that music) - and we can assume that they will replay it Monday.

Oh yeah that's another thing. Ashley is John's daughter in every way that matters. Thus, Billy is Abby's uncle *and* Billy is Chance's uncle. Billy is Dominic's granduncle on both sides. Yet Billy never has scenes with the Abby/Chance/Dominic family. (I don't need to see the boring character Abby, but it's still weird). If I didn't know the genealogy of the show, and I was a newer viewer, I wouldn't know Billy was related to them. When Abby and Chance got married in 2020, was Billy there? I don't remember.

When Leo was married to Sonny, Leo sexually harassed most of the men who lived in the Kiriakis mansion. I don't remember the specifics with Brady but I fastforwarded most of Leo's scenes.

Nobody has bothered to tell Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor anything about the Abbotts and Newmans. She hasn't been invited to the family meetings. The families have had meetings about the following events, but I don't think Abby was ever included in the discussions? Her cousin Keemo has died. Her cousin Keemo has a daughter Allie. Her sperm-theft-switch-conception-cousin Kyle's mother Diane is alive. Abby and Kyle exist because of the actions of Ashley and Diane (and Nikki). Her sister Victoria is married to a swindler who was trying to take over the Newman company. Her brother Adam and her father Victor are trying to manipulate things. Chancellor Industries is merging with Hamilton-Winters. Her grandmother-in-law Jill approved this. Does Abby know any of this? (I don't even like the Abby character, but still... ) I'm totally fine with her being offscreen, but it's weird that she's not in the family meetings of her families.

Jackie Cox appears week of April 18th. Following up on their "BeyondSalem" character's friendship with Leo Stark in Phoenix. There's a long Jackie Cox interview in the mag. They say their character on the main DAYS daytime show is a continuation of their Phoenix character --- and is still named "Jackie Cox" and is still a RuPaul Drag Race alum...., but ... their daytime DAYS character's persona ...... is a different persona -- who behaves differently than the real actor/Jackie uses in their stage show. Something about them playing a character with their "Jackie Cox" name but playing someone other than themself. Something about the DAYS Jackie being someone who deviously schemes with Leo. Basically the JackieCox from the BeyondSalem/DAYS universe... does things that the regular JackieCox stage show persona would not do. Jackie says her regular drag stage persona in real life is a character she wears when she does drag shows. In some ways, that character is copyrighted to Jackie. But Jackie is allowing Days to create a different character for Salem/Phoenix who has the same character name but is not the same character. Jackie says the Days character is different enough that Jackie don't mind that the names are the same. Jackie appears in drag on Days during week of April 18 AND also appears with a "non-drag look" on Days during week of April 18. Sorry if that's confusing! The actual interview is clear. Edit to add: Jackie says that the BeyondSalem JackieCox was a very short nod to the Lisa Rinna impersonation aspect. But the character on the main daytime show this week is more developed - and the Rinna stuff is not so emphasized. Instead, the focus is now on Jackie's relationship with Leo and also Jackie's relationship with Chad. Editing much later to add: The Jackie Cox interview says their character on DAYS is a ne'er-do-well who is very devious, unpredictable, and cannot be trusted. Jackie jokes that having their character working with Leo is sort of like the scheming cartoon villains Boris and Natasha.

Well TV Guide was wrong about the dates. They said Steffy wakes up Monday April 18. But Steffy awoke Wednesday April 13. Thursday April 14, they are trying to get her to remember who shot her.

A couple of weeks ago in SOD, Beemer explained this as follows: Belle assumed that she got there in time; and Shawn allowed her to assume that - because it was too traumatizing for him to talk about. Beemer said that, back in December, Belle had mentioned something indicating her assumption, and Shawn had replied at the time with "I would never betray you" - which was true because didn't know it was Jan. Per Beemer, Shawn didn't want to say out loud what had happened because that would make it "real" and he didn't want it to be real. I think that's a fairly normal reaction to being raped.
