details on Canada airing Beyond The Gates from Jeevan Brar of thetvwatercooler.com https://www.thetvwatercooler.com/2025/02/how-to-watch-beyond-the-gates-in-canada/ on CBS at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT. In Canada, Beyond the Gates will simulcast on CHCH at 2 p.m. ET. The CHCH news arm serves the Halton and Niagara regions and is available on basic cable in the Toronto area and on digital and satellite across Canada. Canadians who do not have CHCH, will still be able to watch Beyond the Gates live and DVR the series on CBS across the country where the American network is available locally. UPDATE (as of Feb,.16, 2025) Paramount Global Content Distribution, which distributes Beyond the Gates, has confirmed exclusively to The TV Watercooler that CHCH only holds broadcast television rights to the series in Canada. There is no confirmation yet on if any streaming service has picked up Beyond the Gates to stream in Canada. As of press time, Beyond the Gates will not stream on Paramount+ (where it will stream in the U.S.) in Canada. For whatever reason the article must have been edited, because it now says "A spokesperson for the show confirms exclusively to Soap Opera Digest that he will appear as Lucky in a handful of episodes. Jackson is already back filming and will return to the airwaves later this month." Don't know why they changed it from "several" to "a handful".

The WGA-East ceremony is up on the WGA-E youtube channel, and they have a separate clip for the Daytime Drama award. In this case, the presenter is actress DeWanda Wise who speaks for a couple of minutes to discuss and welcome BTG, and then she announces the nominees and the winners. The seat became vacant following the Jan. 20, 2025 resignation of Republican Michael Waltz, who was chosen by President Donald Trump to be his nominee for White House national security advisor. Probable election: The 2025 New York's 21st congressional district special election. The seat is expected to become vacant as Republican incumbent Elise Stefanik was chosen by president Donald Trump to be his nominee for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (though as of February 13, 2025, she has not been confirmed by the Senate for the position).

I have never seen Guiding Light, I just posted the video on this GL thread because it's interesting. He specifies in the video that this is a piece of the mantel -- related to their wedding, "they had carved their names always forever". Hopefully what he said is enough to go on for those familiar with the storylines. I just think it's interesting that P&G had that "artifact" as he called it, in some sort of archive or storage or something.

Yeah I think that Cady's IG post (from upthread) with the bangs ... might possibly be an old picture from 2010. I had initially assumed that pic with the bangs was new. But now I'm not sure. I thought she was saying "here's I what I look like today now, just like I was in 2010", but actually she might have meant "I now have a similar hair color to what I had in 2010". It does seem that she now has sort of a few bangs, wispy/subtle on the sides of her forehead, but not strong bangs like years ago? Here it is again from upthread.
