Congratulations Tate and Sophia, even though I think it’s too soon to bring a baby into this storyline. There are a lot of holes in all this. Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think I am lol but wouldn’t Tate and Sophia have known if the condom broke? And, wouldn’t they also have known if Tate had done the, uh, thing, that actually makes the baby? 😂😂 Hopefully, we get some answers tomorrow. Maybe Sophia is lying. Or maybe it’ll turn out that Aaron is the father. It did seem like he had more to say to Tate today. And maybe Aaron and Sophia did a lot more than just watch B&S together 😂 But if Tate does turn out to be the father, personally I don’t think it’s right to give John a great grandchild and have him not be here to enjoy it. If anything, they should’ve waited until after John dies. Julie’s scenes with JJ started off a little lousy but they improved over the course of the episode. I wouldn’t mind him also being weaved in to the necklace/Doug the III storyline. Plus, Susan Seaforth Hayes does work really well with him, and with the younger actors, in general. But Holly’s scenes with Leo today 🤮🤮🤮 In what universe would a teenage girl talk about her relationship and its problems with a creepy old man who can’t grow up and who sexually assaulted half the men she knows? I mean, come on. If we’re forced to endure Leo, at least not make him creepy. That’s one of the reasons why Javi is somewhat tolerable, even though he was a little annoying and Leo-like today. He’s young and supposed to be immature. And btw, poor Doug the III.

Welcome back, Cam! We’ve missed you! 😊😊😊 From the very first scene, it was obvious that he should be back on the canvas and leading the younger crowd as well. And I loved seeing him so happy, and with a girl who actually respects and appreciates him. Gretchen the cellist is a massive upgrade. And honestly, I see this whole situation as well deserved karma and I couldn’t be happier. #MerryChristmasCam The Spencer/Webber family scenes were the best part of today. I loved seeing them interact as a whole. And that Cam and Lucky sang for everybody. I was hoping we would get that. Cam and Aidan did have good brother chemistry as well. Maybe it’s time to meet Tobias too 😂 But I agree that there should been scenes of Cam and Lucky just catching up. It’s too bad that their relationship’s been so diminished in the last decade or so. Btw, I love how, despite Lucky basically being erased from Cam’s life for all these years, they always remembered to have him call Laura “Grandma.” As for Drew, did CM really say that Drew and Willow could be the next Luke and Laura? 😂😂😂

Not much happened today but there was some pretty good acting, especially between Gabi/JJ and Jack/Jennifer/Chad. I like the way that they’re building up the Gabi/JJ reunion. In some ways, it almost feels like another classic soap dilemma. And I did sort of like Jennifer’s plan for the time capsule, even though part of me is worried that this is actually just another classic Ron, “f*ck you” to the fans. I wonder what the strike writers were planning when they first came up with the idea of the time capsule. And, welcome back Mark! We’ve missed you! 😊😊 I really enjoyed the Greene family reunion. As much I disliked this Clyde crap, I do like the four of them as characters and the relationships that they have with each other. They’re believable as siblings. And yeah, EJ is the worst DA ever. I can’t believe it took this long for someone to tell him that Mark can’t be charged in Salem for a crime that took place in Paris. But I was glad to see Belle in lawyer mode again. She wiped the floor with him, even though we really should have seen Tate asking her to help out the Greenes. To me, it just shows that Belle belongs on the canvas. I’m looking forward to the EJelle reunion though and where they’re gonna go from here, especially since If their storyline ends up being tied to other storylines and characters, like Shawn or Gabi and JJ, it could be a pretty good mess for everyone involved. Btw, I thought it was hilarious when EJ was boasting to Mark about how you don’t cross the Dimera’s, yet Clyde is still alive.

The good news is that it seems like more and more episodes are uploaded every week. Pre-1980 stuff is rare though, since they didn’t start saving the tapes until late 1979.

Maybe they’ll even sing 😂😂 And, if he does end up having scenes with You-know-who, hopefully he’ll finally receive an apology from her.

All the more reason Giovanni Mazza should have been a recast Cam. They could’ve said that he learned the violin while he was at Stanford lol And, we would have been spared Gio getting lost in the shuffle this year.

F*ck off, Alex. I know this storyline ebbs and flows when it comes to quality but I’m really starting to really dislike this hatchet job that they’re doing on Johnny just to prop him. It’s just not necessary. Maybe if RSW had more of an acting range, I’d feel differently lol And, I’m worried that they’re doing the same thing with Stephanie. I don’t particularly mind her being messy, like she was today lol but if it’s being done just to prop another character then it once again comes off as ridiculous and unnecessary. But I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen with her and how it’s going to affect everybody. Hopefully, this means that Alex will start being a part of the Kiriakis family storylines again instead of this B&S bs. He just needs to be written in a way that similar to his acting style, i.e: the villain. Maybe that’ll happen with the new writers. As for Philip vs. Xander, I didn’t expect the result that we got but I don’t mind it that much, even though Philip was back to being campy and annoying again today and I don’t like that. Hopefully, it doesn’t turn into a pissing contest between the two of them like it did with EJ and Stefan. Maybe it would have better if Belle had been able to get Sarah to admit on the stand that Xander tried to kill Brady, which ultimately causes Xander to lose Titan. That could’ve led to conflict between her and Xander, and with Belle as well. In some ways, the spousal privilege thing did seem like a weak resolution, IMO. Btw, I found it hilarious that Sarah was so worried about possibly committing perjury but had no problem with lying that Brady was the one who ran her over. Between that and the dialogue being totally cringe all throughout today, was it a Jamey episode?

Today was a good one… for reasons that I’ve already let y’all know about. Can’t help but wonder what William Lipton is thinking right now 😂😂😂😉 I’m still enjoying the fallout from the Drew/Willow reveal, even though I don’t really agree with Tracy and Ned being the bad guys. It just doesn’t seem necessary. There were a lot of messy choices in this storyline but the bare bones of it have been really good so far. Thankfully, Tracy’s reunion with Lulu cancelled a lot of the bad out lol it was great seeing the two of them together again. And even Michael had a bit of a backbone with Carly today. I was impressed.

That country twang is so annoying 😂😂 I hope that happens. The fallout could be so good.

There were a lot of good scenes today and I like how everything was being built up for Philip and Xander’s court case, in the first part of the episode anyway. I think they went a little too fast in the second part of the episode and I still think the case should have started a little later than now. We should have seen more of the beats being played, especially because so many characters are involved in this. For example, Stephanie’s PR campaign against Xander or Kate keeping the secret about the letter from Roman. And I still say that Alex should have had a part in this as well. I never bought him being so willing to give up everything to Xander and I never will. I was liking Belle in lawyer mode too. She really did seem in her element. Both with Brady and Philip, and in court. But yeah, they really need a proper courtroom set on Days. Philip vs. Xander has the potential to be huge and explosive and I hope we continue to see it. Their scene today before court started was pretty good. JPL seemed to do a better job as well. He didn’t seem as campy and annoying. I also liked the Shawn/Roman scene and how Roman used his own past with John and Marlena in order to help Shawn. And I’m looking forward to seeing what happens between him and Belle and whoever they each get involved with. They belong on the canvas. Btw, I know this is a nitpick, but I really hate the music that they play in the Pub 😂 And I liked the cliffhanger ending too. I thought it was a good way to get people to watch tomorrow, and it could also lead to more conflict at some point in the future.

Well, the breakdown writer who worked on those episodes has admitted that he only writes one draft of an episode and never does any rewriting, so it might be just laziness instead of drugs 😂😂
