I can't see them recasting Stefano either. In some ways, it would almost be disrespectful to Joseph Mascolo, and his memory. This is purely speculation but I suspect it is Stefano's body in the tube but the plot will be foiled in the end, hopefully by Johnny.

DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Today was a bit of a mixed bag. Not much happened. And somebody really should have told us where Will, Paul and Andrew went. But I'm glad that we got some follow-up with Marlena. And despite some missteps in her storyline, especially in the beginning, I'm still curious and interested in seeing whatever's going on with her. I enjoy scenes of her and Sarah together. But I don't think she has Lyme disease though. And once again, Belle was a bit of a dick. But for once, it actually seemed to work. I wouldn't mind her taking on EJ and the hospital if it turns out that they were negligent in diagnosing Marlena's illness. But her, Eric and Roman's scenes at Marlena's bedside were really nice. Javi pointing out that Gabi has a reason for kidnapping Tony seemed like filler though. I don't think she had anything to do with it. And yeah, Al is still not a good crier ๐ And as for Tony and Kristen, their scenes were kinda played too jokingly for me, which I didn't think was the right move. There almost seemed to be a little bit of Susan in Kristen's performance today, which was the wrong choice by Stacy Haiduk. I still think Kristen/Susan/Stacy Haiduk is played out though. Once this is all resolved, send her and her awful kid back to Aremid or something. And based on Tony and Kristen's final scenes, I guess we now know what was in the box at the hospital. I'm still dreading what would've happened in 2023 had Zach stayed.

They're safe from Leo; that's the important thing ๐๐ Sonny could add an interesting dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines if he were full time though. I could see him being pitted against Xander or Alex somehow

Well said ๐ Which could've led to some good conflict for Tate, Holly, Ari, Aaron, etc. A very missed opportunity. It really does all go back to that; Will and Sonny should never have been written out in 2020

Poor Lucas If GH wasn't so biased, he'd be the one in the right in this storyline, instead of Carly. I hate that they're obviously going to make him look stupid in the end. And poor Rocco too. Now that the DA double-crossed him, hopefully this'll be the end of whatever the hell is happening between her and Sonny. I wasn't expecting Trina vs. Jordan, but I didn't mind it. It could finally give Trina something to do that could actually be interesting. And even though Emma and Gio spent most of the episode feeling sorry for themselves, I enjoyed their scenes. They're still so good together and I'd much rather see the two of them and the rest of the Scooby gang try to take down Dalton rather than Joss and the WSB.

I think that point was the early 80s, starting with the St. Valentines Day Massacre and ending with Pat Falken Smithโs second run and the arrival of the Bradyโs and Dimeraโs. In the long run, I think it worked out but I also think that there was plenty of storyline left for every Horton that got written out, particularly Bill and Laura. And, I also think that it worked out for Stephen Schnetzer too ๐

DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Returns every day this week! Welcome back, Steven! Even though Iโm not sure if thereโs a place for him on the canvas at the moment, itโs great to see Stephen Schnetzer on a soap again. He and Susan Seaforth Hayes work well together. She also works well with Roark Critchlow. It was nice to see their family connection on display today. And, we got updates about Doug III, and Robin! But yeah, somebody needs to tell Eli that Tom is his great-great grandfather, not great grandfather ๐๐ It was also good to see Sarah finally be included in the celebrations as well. And to see all three of Billโs children share scenes together. I canโt even remember the last time that happened lol and I liked that Lucas used his own history with Will as a way of cautioning Jennifer about seeking custody of Thomas and Charlotte. Mike remembering the gift that Carrie gave him when he became Chief of Staff at the hospital was a nice throwback too. And, Marie, Julie and Maggieโs speeches about Tom and the hospital and Jenniferโs slideshow, with the flashbacks we got during it, were the icing on the cake. Overall, and despite the obvious budget issues when it came to the gala, I thought this was a great week. And a huge improvement over the 50th anniversary celebrations. It was a great way to honor Days, its families, characters and history and also to move some of the current storylines along. And despite me not being the biggest fan of some of the current storylines, this all has me looking forward to seeing it all play out and finding out whatโs going to happen. And hopefully, weโll get some follow up with Marlena, and Kristen too, on Monday ๐ A Will/Sonny/Paul/Andrew quad, with Dimitri thrown in to make it even messier is one of my dream storylines ๐๐ It really is too bad that the writers seemed to have closed the book on Will/Paul though. Theyโre family now ๐

Another story opportunity for Paul and Andrew ๐ It really is too bad that we can't get them both full time.- DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos

Neither did I. The tension was definitely something new. And while I don't mind it, I'm wondering, especially after today, what's the point of it all if Sami's not gonna be sticking around? At this point, it's just making Belle look bad in some ways.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
๐ Didnโt they make peace after Shoot the Bride? I canโt remember. I know everyone was against Belle at that time, even John.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
I think it really started to fracture after Sami caught Belle in bed with EJ in 2022 Sami then ratted her out to Shawn.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Agreed. Anything would be better than them just wasting away in a storage room somewhere.- DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
Days was uploaded early today! And welcome back, Paul and Andrew! We've missed you ๐๐๐ I'm so glad that they were included in the 60th anniversary celebrations. They're so good together, and I like that they're looking into adopting a baby. I don't mind them investigating Tony's disappearance either. I just wish we could see them more, especially since Andrew was revealed to have been Cat's ISA handler. That's another one of the many story opportunities for the two of them. But just like with Will and Sonny, if we can't get them both full time, I'm more than fine with them getting a happily ever after and popping in once in a while. I just wonder why they're not allowed to kiss. Colton said there was a reason, but he never said what it was. I also liked the buildup to the gala, and how those moments that honor Days, its history, and its characters were combined with current storylines, even though some of those current storylines are kinda missing the mark, Leo being the clearest example of that. I'm probably gonna die on this hill lol but Johnny should be the one investigating EJ and trying to take him down. And I did have a feeling that the gala was going to be in the square. Friggin budget ๐๐ But I love that John was honored at the gala. That was a very smart decision, on part of the writers, even though it was very weird that Will and Ari were the only Hortons there. But the tributes to John were beautiful. I loved that Marlena and all of John's kids got to say something about him and Isabella as well. And I did tear up a little when Belle revealed that his donation to the hospital was going to be used to fund pancreatic cancer research. You could tell that nobody was acting in those scenes There were also a lot of those nice family moments today that I really enjoyed, especially with Sami and Eric, and Eric and Holly. Sami admitting that despite the times that he hated John, deep down she always loved him was really sweet. And I'm glad that Sami finally got to have scenes with her granddaughter. Too bad that she had to leave already. Belle being a dick about Sami to Marlena was a little unnecessary though. But luckily, that was overshadowed Sami making her look stupid. And, by Marlena's trip down memory lane about John. And yes, Marlena. Will did look handsome ๐๐ Speaking of Will, I like that he had no time for EJ's crap. And I don't hate the idea of Will bringing up him shooting EJ possibly being the catalyst for Rachel remembering the truth about her shooting him. Ending the episode with Gwen was a bit of a mistake though, IMO. The last scene should have been of Marlena starting to feel sick. I hope she's OK. - DAYS: November 2025 Discussion Thread
