I mean, not for nothing, it technically is Sonny's fault that he almost died... again. And I hope that the fact that he took Wiley and left the ball without saying a word to anybody means that that's going to happen. Speaking of Sonny, making the fallout from the Gio reveal all about him was not a good idea, grandfather or not. Out of every character involved in those scenes today, Ned was the one who stood out to me the most. Wally did a pretty good job. Btw, what was that nonsense that Kai was spewing out? We all knew who really was the best performer at the Nurses Ball this year. But I do have to admit, I really liked the final act though 😊😊 And, I love Lucas and Elizabeth's relationship too. Plus, he looked really good in that tux 😍 Casting has good taste 😂😂😂 Agreed. That's someone on Twitter just trying to cause trouble

I spent the afternoon coming up with an alternative story idea for John's death. Suppose, Orpheus wasn't caught after Marlena, Steve, Paul and Andrew foiled the nuclear bomb plot, but took John as his prisoner and went on the lam. Eventually, it gets revealed that he was the one who had the sepsis drug stolen, not some random junkie. And he uses that, and John as bait to lure Marlena, Steve, Shawn, etc. to where he's holding John. While they're all searching for Orpheus, John and the drug, Shawn manages to find the drug and rushes off to save Bo, but immediately after that, Orpheus captures Steve and Marlena and ties them up in a room with John, who's also tied up and weak but has a bomb strapped to his chest. As the bomb ticks down, Orpheus explains that he's finally going to kill them all, once and for all. But just as he's about to leave the room, and the timer on the bomb reaches zero, John breaks free of his restraints and attacks Orpheus. They struggle, fall out a window and the bomb explodes, killing both John and Orpheus. Idk if that's the best idea in the world, but it seems to work for me. Not only would it have John die as a hero, but it would also rid us of Orpheus, who I hope is completely forgotten about now. Even though Marlena, Steve, Roman, etc. are still on canvas, he has no purpose anymore now that John is dead. And it just doesn't feel right to me that John is gonna be dead, while Orpheus is still alive. In some ways, it almost feels like, after all these years, he beat John. Which is total crap. If Stefano couldn't beat John, there's no way this pain in the ass could do it 😂

Everything happened too fast with Doug III/Ari. The script literally went from Point A to Point Z in one scene. We should’ve seen Point B, C, D, etc. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with John dying as a hero to save Bo. It’s just that everything surrounding it seemed to be a problem. John disappearing/Orpheus and the bomb turning out to be nothing, fighting with some random U/5 junkie to get the drug, John getting back to Salem and not seeing Marlena and his family, etc. John Black getting taken out by some random junkie?

Happy 40th anniversary, Bo and Hope! 🎉🎉🎉 And it was so great to see them again, and for the two of them to finally have scenes with both Shawn and Ciara, as a family. I especially enjoyed the first scene with Hope at Bo’s bedside and the flashback to their wedding. It was really sweet. Victoria Konefal did a really good job too. It really is a shame that things didn’t work out with her… and that her character was so disregarded by the previous writing team. And yeah, they really didn’t need to have Ciara mention her serial killer though. It was not necessary. I mean, Ron’s gone lol we don’t need to do this anymore. And I don’t know where she was going with those leather pants either. 😂😂😂 As for John, like I said yesterday, I just don’t know. I’m glad that he’s a part of trying to save Bo’s life, but to have him go out like this… As much as I disliked the whole Orpheus thing, maybe they should’ve continued on with that for John’s exit story. Like I said before, and have John sacrifice his own life to kill Orpheus once and for all. Because the fact that Orpheus is still gonna be alive while John isn’t kinda pisses me off. I can’t help but wonder if this was always planned or if Paula/Jeanne changed the story. But I think this whole thing is gonna be very divisive. Soap Twitter/social media will probably be explosive today.

I just hope it doesn’t become a constant thing. Like with Days, it’s funny the first time, but after the 475th time, it isn’t anymore.

Awwwwww Gio 😥 The violin smash was a little bit much though 😂😂😂 But he blew me away in the rest of his scenes. He played the anger and devastation so well. GM is definitely as talented an actor as he is a musician. In terms of acting, this really was like his first chance to shine and he shined pretty brightly. And on his birthday too no less lol maybe he can be the next Nicholas Chavez. He definitely acted circles around another younger actor, who's subpar AF but is constantly shoved down our throats like she's Meryl Streep 🖕 I can't wait for tomorrow to see what happens for him, for Dante/Brook Lynn, for Lois, Lulu, Emma, etc. Hopefully, Lulu gets a slap or a punch, at least. And yeah, can this show stop f*cking mentioning Stone, please? After what they did to Jagger, they have no right to even speak his name anymore 🤬🤬

I'd assume that means that the rumors were true; that they were stalling in the hope that Drake would recover. Yep 😉 In some ways, the writing did improve for them too, at the end of Ron's run, but I really enjoyed everything that happened to them since Paula/Jeanne took over. They deserve to be frontburner, especially after last year.

Well... Ari sure had a good birthday 😉😂😂 Even though I read the spoilers, I was a little surprised that Days went there Ari and Doug III. I won't say it's out of character for Doug III but I didn't expect it when he first heard it was happening. I'm interested in seeing where they go from here. I hope Tate finds out somehow and tells Holly about it. That could be a pretty good mess. But at the same time, their scenes felt rushed. We should have seen more of Ari and Doug III both at the Bar and at the Salem Inn 😉😂 Doug III looked hot though. And Ari got to have scenes with Marlena too. I really hope that Days establishes a relationship between the two of them. I'd love to see it play out onscreen. And we got an update about Will and Sonny. But again, all this talk about John 😥 I enjoyed the Holly/Doug III scenes too. I liked the way that she helped him today and comforted him about everything that happened with Julie. I'm curious to see how he's going to make things right with her. Belle is dumb but I always love the sibling scenes between her and Brady. I like that they have each other to talk to about how messy their lives are. And I actually don't mind Belle being dumb. I actually find it to be pretty interesting. Surprisingly, she seems messier than Shawn. Btw, now I'm starting to wonder if Tate being sick actually is gonna mean something. Or if Leo Howard just needed some time off. As for Shawn and Steve, their scenes didn't do much for me until the end of the episode. It set things up for tomorrow and I can't wait to see it. Brandon Beemer actually did a pretty good job too. As for the final scene... Idk.
