  1. Gwen looking pathetic as always, holding onto Ethan like he’s a toy.
  2. Can't believe it's been 20 years since Another World went off the air. It was actually one of the first soap operas I watched with my Mom and Grandma. My mom had watched from the early 70's and she got practically everybody in my family hooked on it. I was only 4 years old when I started watching, but I have so many clear memories from 1996-1999, (which I now know was not one of the best times in the show's history). When SoapNet started airing reruns in 2003, I watched again and was introduced to Mac, Ada, the Mckinnons and so many other awesome characters that I had missed out on. Thanks to YouTube, the Another World Home Page, and various other websites, I've seen and learned so much about the show, and feel it was definitely one of the best soaps that ever existed.
  3. How much were they paying him?
  4. I was only 11 years old when SoapNet started showing reruns of Dallas and Knots Landing. Even then I thought they were two of the best shows to ever be on television. I think, in terms of Passions, it just had to do with bad management and not taking the time to fully understand their intended audience. Instead of actually thinking things through, the producers and writers just seemed to run with the first idea that came to mind. I'd love to find out what went on behind the scenes throughout its run.
  5. How did the ratings for AW not skyrocket in the spring and summer of 1989? The episodes from Felicia’s trial to Mac’s death and funeral were amazing.
  6. Who trained James E. Reilly to be a soap writer?
  7. And to see what would've happened, who would've taken over as head writer after JER's death
  8. JER definitely couldn't handle writing both Passions and Days at the same time
  9. Lmao! I was one of the 12-17 year olds who gave a damn, and I did really like Passions when it was on. But when I rewatched it on Youtube a few years ago, by the time I got to late 2003-early 2004 episodes even I was like, "Wow, this wasn't as good as I remember."
