Episodes are always a lot better when they’re not written like a big, stupid joke. Even this awful fake abuse arc was more watchable today. I’m glad it’s over though. And Gabi and Stefan are total trash. I’m glad karma is finally gonna catch up with them. Now, if only it would catch up with the worst character on the show right now 😂 Steve and Kayla’s trip down memory lane seemed a little random at first, but I ended up really liking how it was set against Chad/Stephanie, who were the MVPs today. They were the best part of today. We got some really good insight as to why things are the way that they are between them. And I liked how Stephanie’s reaction were tied back to her former relationship. I’m looking forward to that storyline next week.

Not much happened today, but it was still quite an improvement over yesterday. Mostly, things were set up for future episodes and I don’t mind that. I’m glad that the Kiriakis house is now going to have a big portrait of Victor because it definitely needs one lol. Too bad we don’t see the living room anymore, because thats where it really belongs. I’m liking this Chad and Stephanie stuff but I still feel like it’s about a year too late. This all needed to happen a while ago, when Alex was still in the picture. It would have been much better conflict than Phonegate 😂😂 I liked Maggie/Xander too but their scenes felt a little rushed, which is one of the biggest problems on the show right now. Their scenes should have taken up the whole episode and the scenes of Xander with Alex and Theresa, which I thought were good as well, should have taken place in tomorrows episode. Again, there’s a lot of stuff going on right now that I like. It’s the execution of it all that’s often terrible. There are so many big secrets building right now and I really hope it isn’t all rushed and squandered. Or bogged down by stupid crap, like we saw yesterday.

Yep. This had to be a Jamey episode. The worst ones always are. Guy isn’t fit to write restaurant menus, let alone a soap. This is what happens when you hire someone for no reason other than the fact that they kiss your ass. Ron deserves firing just for that alone. Hopefully, Janet does something about that because even though the toxicity on set is gone, there’s clearly still a lot of toxicity in the writers room and that affects what happens onscreen. Besides, it’s been 6 AND A HALF FRIGGIN YEARS!!!! Even if things were going good, it would be well passed the time for a change. I don’t even like Gabi and Stefan and I think they deserve better than this

So, Kate mentions Ava’s mob ties but Ava can’t use those mob ties to kill Clyde and this new douche at the bistro? Whatevs A very pet heavy episode today; some I like, some I just flat out despise. Btw, it’s so easy to get a job in Salem. You’d think it would be just as easy to find a place to live 😂😂 I’m kind of interested by this Harris/Kate relationship. I don’t ship them as anything, but idk, I just find it interesting. They had some nice scenes today. I also find Harris/Jada interesting too, especially now that they’re partners. Maybe they could be what Shawn/Jada should have been. I still say that Tripp/Wendy should have their own storyline and not just be secondary in Ava’s. As for the worst storyline on the show right now, all I have to say is #PoorPeter

I already mentioned Sloan’s plot hole, but apparently Alex just didn’t notice that most of the letter wasn’t in his mother’s handwriting or that the last page had to have looked a lot younger than the other pages 😂😂😂 I’m still waiting for them to have Konstantin say that back in the 80s, he was a high school janitor 😂😂

A lot of plot holes in todays episode. I love how Sloan had a fake copy of the test results and the exact same envelope that the hospital gave out all ready to go just in case she needed them for a situation like this 😂😂 Seriously, do hospitals even give out paper test results anymore? And I’m glad for the twist with Xander but the whole thing with Alex just seems unnecessary. Surprisingly, I thought RSW did well today, probably because he came off as the bad guy and not the romantic lead that the show tries to prop him as. And I’m still not a fan of EOB’s Theresa. I feel like she just seems to be playing a role. She hasn’t fully immersed herself in the character of Theresa, the way that Jen Lilley did. Or the way that she did with Gwen. I still think Days would be a lot better if they just balanced out the canvas more and got rid of all the biased prop writing. And all the toxicity on set. Hopefully, with most of that gone, we’ll see some good changes.

I'm glad Xander's the son. I don't have a problem with Blake Berris being the ex. I just despise this character with every fiber of my being. And to see him ruin Peter Porte/Dimitri and to shoehorn him into EJ/Nicole/Eric/Sloan when it was mostly going fine just the way it was, is just ridiculous

Ugghhhh Leo 🤮 I knew he and Dimitri were end up being the new Gabi and Stefan; annoying pains in the ass with no story who just meddle in other people's lives. As for the Horton house, what the f*ck???? 🤬🤬 I don't know what to make of this. Between the scumbag former EP and a certain head writer who writes everything out of spite... I just don't know

Good cliffhanger. I guess there are some benefits to not reading spoilers lol I think we all knew both characters were full of crap but I had no idea that they were working together. This is another storyline that I hope isn’t ruined and rushed because the effects of this can play out for a while. Same can be said for Xander and Sarah and the custody fight, and the way that it could be tied to other characters and storylines. It’s better than having everyone in their own little story bubbles with no interaction with each other. And, I love how everything was fine at the hospital like there wasn’t just a massive security breach and a prisoner escaping. Here’s to hoping Steve beats the crap out of Leo and Dimitri if he finds them. Btw, I should’ve said this yesterday, but wtf is this fascination with handcuffing people to beds? Is that another Jamey trademark? 🤮🤮
