Gabi/Stefan/EJ was the best part of today. Stefan vs. EJ is always a lot better when they’re not written as petty and bitchy. I thought Stefan actually seemed convincing and believable as a villain in his scenes today. And I also think it’s definitely time for Stefan and EJ to have a knock down drag out brawl. It’s been too long since we’ve had a good fight on Days. 😂 But I also felt like they just scratched the surface again with Gabi and Stefan, instead of letting them go all out and letting each other know how hurt and angry they both are. Let Gabi call Stefan out on being jealous and pathetic. Let Stefan call Gabi out on what a lousy mother she is. Btw, Will/Sonny not ever calling Gabi out on what a lousy mother she is, is another missed opportunity. Everything else was… mehhh But I couldn’t be happier that this Connie crap finally seems to be ending. Btw, how much does Roman charge for rent? 😂😂

Gotta admit, I didn’t see it at first but Chad and NotAbigail do have chemistry. Their scenes together today were actually really nice. Even though I hate that Clyde is behind all this, I’m interested in seeing this all play out. But I’ll still never understand why nobody is questioning why NotAbigail is fine with living in the Dimera mansion with a bunch of people who are supposed to be strangers to her 😂 And Clyde just needs to die. Hopefully, the new writers make it happen. Not really buying this ‘New Alex’ thing though and I still think it’s a mistake to totally remove him from all the Kiriakis storylines. He never seemed like the type of person to just throw up his hands and pass everything over to Xander like it was nothing. Not from the way he was written and not from the way that RSW played him. He should be the villain in Xander’s storyline. Speaking of Xander, I thought Paul Telfer did a good job today too. Him absorbing the news about Brady and Fiona really grabbed my attention. But as glad as I am that Fiona didn’t confess the truth right away, I still think the storyline’s moving too fast.

It would definitely be nice if that’s the reason. I hope we get something on Peacock at least. If it’s a money issue, I’m sure the return has to be just as good as the investment. As for what period I’d want to see, there’s too many for me to pick lol so I must just start from the beginning and once again, watch awful child Julie steal the fur from the department store 😂😂

Sophia, you little schemer. I would’ve written her scenes today the same way. Holly and Tate are both vulnerable right now and that would be the perfect time for her to manipulate the situation. And I’m here for it. This is the way she should be written. A schemer and villain and not an obsessed psychopath. I still think we need to know more about her though. And maybe Tate should have been written as a little stupider and messier, that way Sophia’s manipulation was more understandable but I’m looking forward to see where this is going to go. I enjoyed the Holly/EJ scene too. Idk if EJ was lying to Holly about Nicole wanting to keep the truth about Eric from her, but I wouldn’t mind it if he was. EJ works better as an actual villain, like he was today if it turns out that he was lying, and not some bumbling fool who’s just trying to upstage Stefan. Holly feeling like Nicole always put Eric ahead of her could also be really interesting as well. Btw, does Holly know that Brady has her father’s heart? Xander and Fiona did really well today, and it’s a little sad that this storyline was rushed. We should’ve have seen a lot more of the history between the two of then, and them rebuilding their relationship before we got Sarah’s accident. But I’m still enjoying this storyline. As for Kristen, maybe it’s time to send her packing.

When you put it like that, they should be at odds a lot more. Because in a lot of cases, there’s nothing more that a sanctimonious, hypocritical person hates than someone who’s just like them. The scene that I was imagining practically writes itself: Joss (shrieking): He cheated on you. He broke your heart. How can you forgive him? Carly: The same way that Cameron forgave you!

Then again, Joss is awful enough to make people say things that they might not have ever said before. Trust me, I know 😂😂

Now, this is some great news to come home to 😃😃😃 The new writers are making some good moves and I’m impressed already. Even if it is just for a short arc, it definitely time for Bo and Hope to get their happily ever after and correct that horrendous botch job we got last year. I hope we find out the real story someday, as to why all that happened like it did. I don’t even think it was Ron’s fault lol

If they were trying to make Tracy the villain in her storyline today, it isn’t gonna work. And yes, I completely agree with everyone who said that Lois’ storyline is a complete waste of Rena Sofer and a little offensive. I, myself, have a New York accent 😂😂😂 And I was definitely not here for the whore screeching on and on about how awful Sonny is for cheating and breaking Carly’s heart, when she did the exact same thing and didn’t give a f*ck 🖕🖕 I’m hoping that at some point in this storyline, Carly, or somebody throws that right in her disgusting face. Seriously, I never thought I’d hate another soap character as much as I hated Gwen on Passions. Regardless of that and the anti-Jagger writing, I’m liking the way this whole big umbrella storyline is coming together and weaving in so many other characters and own storylines underneath it. The payoff and the transitions into other storylines could be amazing.

Not really sure why we didn’t get to see Victoria’s 1st birthday party. The way people were speaking about it, you’d think we missed an episode or something. But there were a lot of good scenes and movement in storylines today though. Holly teaming up with EJ to find evidence to convict Brady could actually be really good. And I really hope that the two of them teaming up together, along with the truth coming out about Eric leads to a lot of problems for her and Tate. They’re the young couple and they should be put through a lot before they finally get their happily ever after lol Brady was kinda stupid today but I thought EM did a good job. Plus, it did seem in character for him. Btw, did Paul Telfer flub his line when Xander confronted Brady? “She saw your face behind the car that mowed her down?” 😂😂 Eric/Marlena was really good too. This is how Marlena should be used; being there for her kids, not for Ron’s obsessions. I’m looking forward to her scenes tomorrow with Sarah.

Not much happened today, but I’m glad that Steve is being so smart about NotAbigail. It’s always good to see him, and John too, on the case. I hope we figure out more about this storyline and how it came to be. Billy Flynn’s comments in the Michael Fairman interview made me curious lol I have an idea but I have no proof. And I guess it’s good that Rafe’s out of his coma. But the problem is where do he and Jada go from here after all this stuff ends? I don’t see what storyline they could do with them. They had a chance to do something as a result of Bobby-Everett dying but Days didn’t take it. And, can somebody please end this Connie crap? She’s just as bad as Clyde and Konstantin.
