The cliffhanger was ok, but it wasn’t what I was expecting. Today was such a short episode that I think they could have dragged out the Chad/Mark/NotAbigail scenes a lot longer and given us the cliffhanger that we were all expecting. I’m glad Days remembered the Tate/Aaron friendship today though. As subpar as the actor is, I still like the character of Aaron, and how sweet and nerdy he is. But I also wouldn’t have a problem with him turning out to have lied to Tate and start trying to cause problems for him and Sophia. Btw, is Ava gonna be Sophia’s new confidant now? I don’t mind it. If Sophia’s gonna be sticking around, I like that they’re trying to let her interact with other characters, outside of the teen group.

That sounds good too. I wish they had kept Tate messier though, especially now, after everything he just went through with his parents. Him being messy all on his own could be another reason why Sophia’s parents reject him.

That was the best part of today. The whole storyline really needed to explore Xander and Fiona’s relationship a lot more. I like them, but yeah, having them be so beholden to Clyde was a big mistake.

Well, that’s what happens when you have a head writer that makes Michael Winner look like Gloria Steinem. Theresa (and even Gwen too) and EOB deserved a lot better.

Welcome back, JJ! We’ve missed you. And that was a very nice bro hug that you gave Chad 😊😂😂 Today was a good one. It didn’t feel rushed and we got a really good understanding of what many characters were feeling, especially Xander and Sarah. Their scene today at the Kiriakis mansion is really what the Fiona storyline should have been from the very beginning. I was liking Tate and Sophia’s scenes too but I still think that maybe it would’ve been better and led to more story opportunities if Sophia had been the one to expose Fiona, as a way of scoring points with Tate. Same thing can be said for Holly. I don’t mind her being in Paris right now and I enjoyed her scene with Chad, but I think she should have stayed in Salem for a little while longer and continued to plot against Brady. Holly projecting her anger about Eric onto Brady was one of the best dynamics of this storyline. And I know that Tate/Holly are supposed to be the main couple, but I’m still liking Tate/Sophia lol And even though, I’m not liking the storyline or how it came to be, I am a little interested in seeing what’s gonna happen now that Chad is married to NotAbigail.

I don’t think I’d mind the lack of logic, if it was all just written better.

I’m almost up to that 👍😂 I read ahead a little and they really seemed to go all out for sweeps that year. Carrie’s kidnapping and the return to Stefano’s island, Rosa’s death, Nick’s “death”, Adrienne sleeping with Emilio, Justin finding out and trying to kill Emilio and getting paralyzed, Neil and Anjelica getting married, Melissa dumping Jack at the altar, etc.

Good. I’d like to see how the new writers handle them.

It seems similar to Mac/Cody, Chase/Jackie, Griffin/Duke: tie the newbie to an established popular character.

I think we all knew that GH was gonna do something like this to try and make Sasha relevant. It wouldn’t be the first time, or even like the fourth lol I’m surprised it actually took this long.

And there was a father too; Steve’s wino friend who read Tarot cards, Monty.

There was a third brother too, named Raul. He was in the gang with Emilio and ended up holding Kayla hostage at the Community Center. RoJohn had to shoot and kill him, which led to some problems for Carrie and Julio because Julio hated cops as a result of that. Definitely strange, because from what I’ve watched, I can’t stand Emilio 😂 They kind of borrowed the whole ‘gang member with a chip on his shoulder and a heart of gold’ trope from Pete Jannings and gave it to Emilio, but damn he’s like Pete on steroids. And that curly mullet that he was rocking makes me feel as uncomfortable as Luke Spencer’s perm does 😂😂😂 I like Julio though.

So, the crap wasn’t corrected and another storyline got rushed. This is why people don’t like Alex lol. Seriously, what was the point of all that ‘I’m becoming a better person’ crap if they were gonna have him regress so easily? They do the same thing with Leo. And in some ways, this is all ruining Stephanie too. I don’t mind Chanel planning a party for Johnny, but asking Alex for help planning it is such a weak, forced and contrived way to make this storyline happen. Friggin guy is related to half the town, why does she need Alex’s help? Johnny was wearing a much nicer shirt today though And again, it’s too bad about Mark because he was a good guy. I really liked his scenes with Felicity today. But this storyline is ruining him. And ruining NotAbigail. This was all so unnecessary.

Same here. From what I’ve watched, I like April more, though the accent that Lisa Howard put on made her sound more like a Cerullo or a Falconeri than a Latina 😂😂 I wasn’t really a fan of Mike trying to convert to Judaism either because, from what I saw, it made him look stupid, made Robin look like a snob and made Jennifer a bit of a bitch too lol Thanks!
