Shanice had more lines today than ever and the actress is really good and natural! She's not stiff or cringe. They need to give her full-time status and give her a storyline!

Y&R/B&B/GL Vault Updates
Wow, I just stumbled across this and how amazing!!! Thank you for all that you do! I'm currently doing a 90's GL watch and this allows for some better quality versions than what I have access to, so Hooray! Anyone know of someone doing something similar for ABC soaps?

Carrie was my Skye too, and oh how I loved that Dr. Kinder storyline with Erica/Janet/Skye. It was a little campy, but at my age, I enjoyed it. I also had a young crush on the actor playing Dr. Kinder too haha.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Exactly! That's how I understand it from what I've read online and what Kenya claims. They've got some explaining to do.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I'm up to the end of May 1995 and just watched JFP's final episode. Curious to see what change I'll see, if at all. Eve just died and that was very sad, although I never really got to know her well, sadly. Ed is clearly upset, but he followed through with her wishes of not being hooked up to breathing tubes. Rick seems really upset and I'm trying to figure out what Rick and Eve's connection was from before. Roger just staged a car accident and is faking amnesia and I'm here for it! LOL Although I just started May 29th and the role is being played by a new actor now! I hope this is temporary. I don't like Fletcher, so I love to side with Roger and his antics through this storyline. I'm trying to have an open mind, but please make this ghost Reva storyline make sense. I could buy Josh seeing her and dealing with unresolved grief, but now she just showed up and is visibly talking to Annie alone, pretending to be a nurse. I don't get it. I really like Bridgett and finally she's getting more material in '95, but she's tied to this random guy named Skunk, and he's a terrible actor. Hopefully he doesn't last long, but I enjoy seeing her struggle with being a mom and being young/dating. The actress is really good too, when given the opportunity. Mindy just left the country and from what I read online, this was Crampton's last episode (May 26, 1995). What a very unceremonious exit, wow. She just tells Josh she's leaving for a business meeting overseas randomly at Eve's memorial and then she's gone. I guess she either pissed someone off BTS or asked to leave pretty abruptly and they just said fine, later?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Agree with you all, Britt is awful, crazy, thirsty and needs to go. I can't believe we lost Kenya for her. I also don't understand why production said she didn't threaten Kenya, when clearly she did and it's all there for us to hear/see. Britt needs to go.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I was gone for the weekend and just catching up on comments here, but this makes me sad! I guess not being an 80s-90s GL watcher before, I have a bit of a different perspective or feeling towards these characters that I just got introduced to. But you're right, if all the other soaps were having rape storylines, maybe this wasn't as impactful back in the day. But yeah, I'm really enjoying Lucy, she's so sweet, and I love how Alan-Michael has fallen in love with her and wants to protect her. Ahhh - makes sense with the GL burn out. That's a heavy Y&R group to go against, but man, I still think Satra deserved a nom. Her scenes were really powerful to me.

Y'all - how did Sonia Satra not even get nominated for an Emmy in 1995? She was dynamite in this rape storyline. These two scenes alone should have gotten her a nom or win! May 11, 1995 at the 14-minute mark when Lucy talks to Alan-Michael about being raped: May 16, 1995 at the 9-minute mark when she tells Buzz about being raped: There are many other great scenes with other characters during this time, but those two stood out for sure!

You didn't like the Natalie/Janet storyline?!? Dang That's what got me hooked as a kid. That and Hayley/Brian, with Brian climbing through the window to rescue Hayley from Janet and BANG! I was just going to comment - Angelique!! I don't remember liking her that much, but I really enjoyed the storyline generally. I have this vivid memory of Helga wheeling Angelique through Wildwind. How mysterious and gothic that was!

Ohh - what years were you pre-teen and enjoying them... and what years did you consider all those to start their downward descent? 😲 Ceara was killed?? Wow. I never followed Loving, so had no idea the crossover or history there. It took me 32 years to learn that Ceara is dead haha.

Love to hear it and totally agree. I really hope they don't let the show divide their friendship next season. I love their friendship.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Totally get that - Season 3 annoyed me, especially with Heather and her black eye. Did you end up liking Angie this past season? I was very much on the fence with her until this past season and she won me over finally.
