We suspected it all weekend due to some curious film notices, and it is apparently true - Twin Peaks is filming here in Brooklyn, at the Grand Prospect Hall. They've been there since dawn at least. I didn't go this morning because most online TP'ers had dismissed it as a coincidence. This is apparently not the case. I am nearby and am going to be checking it out, though everyone there is sworn to secrecy and will not speak to the public or let us inside. I expect to see and hear nothing. But I don't care. -
New trailer. There is a rumor sweeping around this week claiming Mark Gatiss may be taking over as showrunner, at least for the rumored 'gap year' due to the Sherlock schedule, and that it may be announced on Friday. I personally doubt it, but who knows.

TV Line: In other accounts of the event, Nivens also stressed that the inability to name an episode number (I hope it's still 18, which is what Sherilyn Fenn said she was told by Lynch), a premiere date or the cast was all on Lynch - Nivens has apparently been sworn to secrecy, and Lynch has unprecedented creative control over PR, just as Lynch/Frost did on the original show.

Although the BBC has recently publicly affirmed its commitment to a five-year extension of any and all DW on TV, there is now a rumor floating around that the show may take next year off in some way, shape or form, possibly due to Moffat's commitment to a new series of Sherlock. They also allege that Moffat is under pressure to step down entirely, which I have my doubts about - I have a feeling he might have been ready to leave after this year anyway. I would not be surprised if there is a series of specials to off-set a break, and then a return with Series 10 in 2017. But I have no idea. I also have my doubts about this rumor, as Private Eye tends to often only get their stories half-right. We've been here before with these kind of hysterics and they don't often pan out as alleged. I blame the British press.

Per the Red Room Podcast: "The owner of Big Ed's house has been contacted to film there." I think they mean the location for Big Ed's Gas Farm, which has apparently stood mysteriously vacant for months. Showtime President David Nevins discusses TP. Says he's given Lynch "enormous" creative control, that Lynch has been thinking about it for a long time and that he's read all the scripts.

Twin Peaks Fest is continuing in Washington State, and many of the actors appear to be bound by non-disclosure agreements re: the new show. Catherine E. Coulson (The Log Lady) delivers David Lynch's message to the fans. Fans with Phoebe Augustine (Ronette Pulaski) and Kimmy Robertson (Lucy).

Oh, I saw an article about this last week, I need to read it. I'm kind of curious to see it, and doubly so now. It is no secret that I never much liked Evangeline on OLTL after she dogged R.J., but I liked Renee. And looking back with the benefit of hindsight, it's sad to realize how unheard of airtime like hers - even when I hated her stories - would be today. Also, Jonathan Groff looks great naked.
