I know what you mean about instant furor, but in this case I doubt it.
Sad - and demonstrative of Roseanne's divided nature, caught between the bigotry she's learned and cultivated and who she used to be. Also, I think, a prime example of situational racism you often see with 'nice people.' Behave one way among friends and the 'good' minorities they know, and another in the fever swamp of one's own mind and another among strangers.

I hope Wanda Sykes will agree to return, along with the existing writers past and present. The Deadline version of basically the same info suggests all of the cast would be back and are willing, which would be good. The THR version says the writers (Bruce Helford, etc.) would most likely all return.
