  1. It's official.
  2. What?! Thats's nuts. I thought Blaze was pretty good in those scenes with Eva. I just am not super invested in "Blaze" (yes I know her real name, peanut gallery) or this relationship at all. I do think the scenes felt clearly touched up dialogue-wise and everyone came off well as a result.
  3. Having taken the step of seeing both movies, I will say that Emma is very good in Poor Things but Lily is equally deserving for Killers and carries a ton of the film for me, the equal of De Niro and Leo who were also very very good.
  4. She's Puerto Rican and is calling her 'mami'. The Vegas did it with Carlotta on OLTL for years.
  5. I could swear it had something to do with cat poop. But I barely watched under that regime, even this one is less boring than the Passanante years. I vowed after what she did at AMC I'd never watch her work full time again. Bradford actually did leave in the early 2010s to go drive Lyft, that is not a joke. But I used to razz him mercilessly on Primetimer/TWOP whenever he would occasionally return after and say 'beep beep! here comes Bradford!' every time. Terrible.
  6. It's the 500 nicknames for 'cool' terrible people, the worship of Jason and the growing proto-incel vibes the character often exhibited in later years towards Maxie that made younger me go from finding Spinelli cute to wanting to kill him. Remember when he would call Sonny "Mr. Sir" and shít and then the names for Claudia and literally 3/4ths of the canvas? I wanted to murder the writers who clearly thought it was all delightful. Anyway it's all water under the bridge these days, or was til he left Ellie and I got annoyed again lol. But he's better lately. Somewhat. Sort of. I am just over this grown-ass man still being flummoxed over Maxie. So I was glad they had an unexpectedly intelligent conversation yesterday. Didn't Sam also go crazy because of cat droppings? And shot Sonny or something and he landed in the pit from Parks and Recreation? Shout-out @DRW50
  7. Griffin was terrible and should stay forgotten. Soon he and CM will be battling it out for the same TV host gigs again.
  8. Oh God, I forgot they left Ellie with boring-ass Griffin too.
  9. That's why I was not onboard with him coming back to the show and dumping Ellie; I felt he'd matured a lot with her and had given up on the come here/go away bullshit he used to pull with Maxie. But here we are because Bradford got tired of doing Lyft. Still, they had a reasonably intelligent conversation today, I just would prefer it being a precursor to their getting a HEA and leaving lol.
  10. I think there were other unique options for Maxie in the past (like buttoned-up younger man Michael as sort of another comic pairing, that was my pipe dream once upon a time) but that was long ago. I agree none of her other pairings have ever worked. Nathan was painful, I have no idea how he lasted so long or gave her another kid let alone Heinrich giving her one too. I really liked Spixie once upon a time but I preferred when he had evolved past her and moved on with Ellie. Still, I have no objection to them back together provided they do mature and uh, preferably leave the show for a few years lol. I think they're both spent and need a long break.
  11. I liked them 15 years ago, which was right around the time Spinelli started giving one too many weepy, shaky-voiced 'you are a lying whore, Maximista' speeches. I'm over it now, but they did well today.
  12. The script is a lot smarter but this is the best work I've seen Kirsten do in a long while, not that I’ve paid much attention to her scenes in ages.
  13. This Eva LaRue stuff today feels different, there’s more depth and texture. Even if they’ve rushed into an outing real quick and I don't particularly have any deep connection to Blaze lol. I think some of the Spixie lines are sharper too.
  14. I absolutely do not believe the state of California would prosecute anyone for the death of Sheila Carter at this point lol.
  15. I think she has checked out many times, and has been almost totally checked out for years with Billy Miller gone. But I do think she woke up for scenes with the new Danny discussing Jason - the other day I somewhat cynically speculated this could be because Kelly is angling to get re-paired with Steve for job security, as she was said to have done a tearful mea culpa to their fanbase at a fan event not long ago over her vocal distaste for the couple vs. Drew/Sam during the Miller years. Whatever happened with Kelly and Big Steve BTS in the year or so before he left happened fast and hard, because after insisting on making us watch them together for the better part of 20 years the show suddenly couldn't end this longtime couple fast enough. I definitely don't want to go back to Jasam - I think Sam is spent tbh and should be off the show, like so many other characters - but we'll see what happens. As for other topics: Wyndemere being suddenly and somewhat mysteriously sold makes me wonder if it’s a Mulcahey plot point being seeded. He wrote heavily for the Cassadines in the '90s. There are way too many played out contract characters, and that's not even counting the seemingly endless stream of recurring players who are also on way too much or have way too much story. 50% of the cast you see on any given day, there is a good chance some of them are recurring yet in regular story.
  16. Loath as I am to link to Semafor (or Max Tani, who clearly can't stand Biden/Harris):
  17. I also suspect this swift wrap-up may be the show getting ready to write them out. Honestly I'm fine with that for now. Over half the cast should go.
  18. It makes me wonder how much note they're taking of whatever spurred the creative change at GH, assuming for the moment that is not all a run-up to cancellation a la Lorraine Broderick going back to AMC. (And I don't think it is for GH, but who knows.)
  19. No, I actually wasn't referring to you at all. Though I do think you need to pick better hills to die on when it comes to multiple posters who've apparently been suspended from posting before. But hey, I'm sure the other one will be back any day now.
  20. In my experience these Very Online tactics from the wackjob left really don't move that many actual voters. But who knows.
  21. Trying to fight a primary that doesn't exist. Cute.
  22. I'm not, for all the reasons I've past stated - as a hook-up at least, it's scuzzy and dark and on par with who they are. But I have my doubts it'll actually happen again now, though it was clearly D&C's plan for the story probably as a Sonny/Nina spoiler. Just seems like a waste of time unless the show were to commit to a really dark storyline.
  23. It's gross that we're even weighing in on this (and I'm not blaming caroline, to be clear). Discussing Kirsten's obvious past issues and whether she's doing well enough to still be on contract with the show is one thing. Debating the merits or pitfalls of her supposed Ozempic intake on a daily basis and trying to gauge it onscreen from tape to air is another. I don't personally have a burning need to be at the center of every conversation in every single thread on the board that I will just float saying literally anything about a person to pull focus to myself. It's not worth it to me.
  24. Trudging towards eternity.
