  1. That's it? Not killing Alcazar, marrying Julian Jerome, her drunken escapades, running down Kiefer, etc? Wild.
  2. Heather has always been psycho AFAIC. She was supposed to murder Diana before they did a last minute rewrite and she stalked and gaslit the Taylors for years, she was never a benign character. I don't need her toned down like Janet Green, I just need less of her. But we'll see where it goes. If it makes Alley Mills stop shrieking through every scene I'm here for it.
  3. Take your pick, really. I thought it was long overdue given her hijinks in the 21st century. But I think it may have been some alcoholism related shenanigans, idk. I know some folks like to scan Twitter vs. watching the show but I highly doubt they are going to turn noted psycho Heather Webber sane and nice again over a hip replacement. If they want to add some nuance to the character where she doesn't just howl at the top of her lungs about Esme though I won't mind.
  4. It had to do with his psychological trauma over 'killing' A.J. I seem to recall them promoting it heavily, with either Guza or JFP saying this storyline would prove Dylan is a 'real actor' ready to carry story and that the equally wooden kid playing Jodie would continue on in some new role afterwards. Did not happen! They junked so much of the disastrous storylines from that insane year, which led to the revamp with Kimberly, JT, Laura, etc. and the renewed focus on the hospital. DC was usually pretty monotone and smug onscreen. It wasn't til later he developed any basic vocal pitch, just in time to take a bullet to the head.
  5. I just remember DC's Michael being a creepy little troll, I'm sorry lol. I remember every forum except the hardcore S&C zones roasting him day after day. The show clearly thought he was some adorable, precocious little actor but he was just smarmy and bad and came off like a little perv to me. I'm sorry, he just did! There were rumors he also was a little shít IRL but who knows if people were projecting Michael's bad behavior onto him. Their brief attempt at making him a lifer like Kimberly McCullough did not end well. Remember the nadir year of 2005 when they gave him that summer story with Jodie the imaginary friend? Dylan Cash just talking to thin air? I will give him this, near the end of his run he summoned up some actual emotion (I think when Leticia the nanny got killed and he demanded Sonny find the gunmen and execute them) but he was still never going to be ready for primetime.
  6. I said that. And I said it because he said so, on the show yesterday. Which is available to watch on Hulu!
  7. Ohhh, I wouldn't go that far. Laura's hottest chemistry on other shows was with Ted King and David Andrew Macdonald, and she was sizzling with Sean Kanan and did good work with Ingo and Roger Howarth. But they'll never put Carly with Lorenzo Alcazar again and it's unlikely to happen with twice-dead A.J. I don't think she's got anti-chemistry, but her options for years have been poor. Of course if it was me I'd just bring back Sarah, as much as I think LW has done a fine job and gives 200% everyday. But that's almost certainly never going to happen. I do think she had real chemistry with Sean Blakemore, but the show backed off that real quick when they realized Shawn was yes, a dark-skinned Black man.
  8. I honestly don't care if most everyone gets informed offscreen at this point. This is at least Jason's second or third return from the dead if we're not counting NuJason/Drew, which we should. I have watched those reactions many times and I don't need to again. Just bring him on and do what you're gonna do, I say. Which so far they have. It will be interesting to see if they actually commit to Jason and Carly as I still think Steve and Laura have no romantic chemistry.
  9. I don't think Sam is set on it, but I do think she's a bit too suspicious. Sonny I can live with it because he is in his self-pitying mode, paranoid and has raised the Jason/Carly issue to Lois.
  10. Hannah was FBI. IIRC there were plenty of references to the FBI over many years, it wasn't avoided because of the WSB.
  11. lmaooo you almost make me want to watch this.
  12. Drew dipped on Carly in record time lmao. All he had to know was that Jason was alive and inside the United States and he hit the meme. I found their break-up quite rushed but I'm not complaining; anything that ends a lot of the onscreen nonsense is fine by me. I just hope certain elements (Drew and Jordan) are the last vestige of the past team. If they want to say Kristina woke up having miscarried that baby I won't complain either. I have a very hard time buying certain people being split on Jason shooting Dante. I can't see Sam buying that or many other people who knew Jason well, and Sonny is a struggle unto itself for me but I fanwank that atm by assuming he is paranoid, possibly off his meds and maybe still feeling jealousy re: the Carly situation from a couple years ago (which to their credit they had him address as a factor on Thursday). Nonetheless, I handwave it because the drama makes for something more interesting than everyone in town rallying around St. Jason again. I was also glad to hear Faux!Molly address her old hero worship of Jason and Sam. On a side note: Nice to see another awkward scene where Willow and Drew are clearly down to fúck. Not the first time!
  13. Jason was obsessed with baby Michael in the '90s. There was nothing bigger in his life at that time, other than Robin (and even she got the broom for Michael eventually).
  14. I vaguely remember it. I thought it made sense tbh bc that's exactly what would happen in the backseat lol.
  15. They also use the toddlers and small children and every recurring player. It's ridiculous and screams Ellen Wheeler's Guiding Light. They surely have enough money to take another shot at Faces of the Heart. How much can it cost?
  16. Drew moved into business years ago.
  17. I also think Maule is often quite sexy in his own way. Yes, he was peak suburban 90s dad but there was more behind the unassuming outward appearance. His talent most of all is what stuns me the more classic material I revisit - such a quiet storm, but also capable of incredible wry humor. Sarah Brown has also spoken highly of him recently.
  18. I was hoping for the same. Who knows the last time Terry or those other adopted kids were even mentioned? And no, I had no idea she was in Jean-Jacques Beineix's films and I love Diva.
  19. Tanisha Harper is the worst actor I've seen on this show since Oscar. Jordan has always been a nothing character. Drew and Jordan together sounds like a nightmare.
  20. Cam is dunzo with Steve back. It's just a matter of time.
