  1. I've always said I would keep Cody and have him play the field as the mischievous himbo stable stud (or experiment with him and Tracy after all, which I think PM and co. were/are heavily hinting at). I think after a very rough intro Kelly has found his niche at the show with the Q stables and the larger Quartermaine family, Mac and that whole setup. Maybe if you want something more lasting for him down the road he can become a cop or something, or maybe he just goes when it's the right time. But Sasha gotta dip now. I think Spixie are fine in their current form, in large part bc the writing for them heavily improved in the spring months under Mulcahey and reminded me a lot of what I first liked about them in the 2000s. But given how much Kirsten has come back from the abyss of late I would seriously consider a stronger pairing for her with someone else (like a recast, single Michael) down the road.
  2. The irony is Jennifer Cooke ended up being one of the most well-loved heroines of the Friday the 13th franchise a few years later, where she played a wisecracking spitfire in the more comic Part 6 (Jason Lives, naturally). I assume they just didn't write anything terribly good for her, plus she did not have the peculiar vibe Vigard did.
  3. Both articles above are worth a read (for Politico), but the Walz coaching football games in select states pitch in the second piece is particularly amusing.
  4. These Sun Belt polls vary above but I still think we'll take GA, again.
  5. Heard Rebecca Budig talk about 'my grandchildren' onscreen and just about passed out.
  6. Since I usually only see Donna's posts when they're quoted by people I don't have blocked (as in this thread), I would say again Mansi has been carrying a good portion of the show for months. I don't think she is mediocre at all. Lopez is another story. She was always a dayplayer who got a bit of a come-up because FV had no interest in hiring someone new for LGBT story.
  7. What Ukraine has done is really remarkable.
  8. I think they had some chemistry, but again I just didn't think Blaze was much of a character and I don't think JGL was that impressive. She had improved, but I still didn't buy their insta-love relationship that has been cemented at this point. What is the conflict? She was there to be an accessory to Kristina. But failure goes for any attempt to pair Kristina with a woman so far. I found Kristina and Valerie so forgettable and painful to think about tbh lol. Maybe Brytni Sarpy could've made it more.
  9. Donna wants "Kraze" to be a much bigger thing than it is. It's not, because the bulk of the audience is just not super attached to Blaze or to Lopez. Twitter and FB are not real life, and even there the response to her firing was mixed at best. She was a dayplayer I knew they'd try to make work with Kristina simply because FV was never going to invest in a major star or someone even more mildly more expensive for a LGBT pairing - she's had some good moments, but I still didn't care much. I'm as disgusted as anyone with FV seemingly tossing the gays overboard and keeping Eva LaRue's bigot character, but Kristina can always get a new, much more interesting girlfriend. It's keeping ELR/Natalia that offends me far more than losing Lopez/Blaze. I have no smoke for Kate Mansi, who may have gotten too involved talking to these lunatics than a soap star should but when they're calling you names for not standing up for a castmember you clearly did not have a close relationship with and whose firing you could not control, oh well. And she's right: Kristina is bisexual, no matter the random retcon the show pulled a couple weeks ago. I don't have a lot of sympathy for psycho fans attacking her. The pairing just was not that interesting, it was never even at the level of Olivia/Natalia from GL (which I didn't like either), and that's why at least half the audience is just shrugging at it. Hopefully the next time Kristina gets a girlfriend (if she gets another one, oy) these people won't overinvest too quickly to the point that they think they're the authority. Again.
  10. Meanwhile:
  11. Let's not say things we can't take back.
  12. Both Wuhrer and (sadly) Luner were long since cooked by the time they did daytime. I just rolled my eyes when Kari showed up on GH; I wasn't really shocked, since she'd been virtually everywhere else. And she was dreadful on the show. I knew it wouldn't last long.
  13. Good luck with this plan.
  14. Trump palace intrigue from the right-leaning access hens at Puck: It's readable when run through archive.is.
  15. Season 4 still really holds up (and yes, Ciji is still singing). They're coming up on "Abby's Choice" in a bit. It's very comforting to pop in and out on the show live. It's gonna suck to only get in a few S7 eps on Sunday as I have no intention of bingeing all night (though it's happened before with Knots!). I hope on demand happens fast.
  16. She's singing away!
  17. Disney explicitly denies this, and cites 'egregious behavior.' This is another reason I have always been hesitant in suggesting DeMayo be hired back when we have no idea what happened and he has a history of wild behavior and opinions. He did outstanding work on Season 1 but you don't get dropped without a word without it being something serious. Jinx!
  18. Oh, whatever. That is not going to fly, it never does.
  19. That's my understanding, allegedly. She wanted a pay bump and FV either froze her out or tried to get her to take a cut, and then it was byebye. I assume his paternal affections had shifted in full to Nicolas Bechtel.
  20. A longer clip: It's all from this duo video of Harris and Walz.
  21. A lot of it was pure trainwreck value to me, lol.
  22. I don't know either nor care. Not to my knowledge. And yes, AFAIK Kristina has been bi for years. Anyone complaining about Mansi reminding them of that because they weren't watching before mid couple #300 can dip. I think it was also planned to cement both Stafford and Ron and Frank's beloved Kristen Alderson (before Kristen asked for a modest pay bump that is, lol). Remember, at that time Stafford was ascendant on the show as a new lead and they were pairing her with Roger and pushing the Franco/Kiki-Todd/Starr repetition hard. They kept on doing it with the three of them as a kind of loose family unit after Passanante took over while Hayley Erin was in the role for awhile. But I just never cared about any of them.
