  1. I never knew that - interesting.
  2. Were 1-year deals the norm for P&G, or just for the big stars?
  3. Ugh, I could have done without that story but YMMV.
  4. So do I, just to see Rue McClanahan.
  5. True, and he didn't have that luxury at TD. I think he was the first in a long line of short-lived head writers after 5 years of the Pollocks. I say it was no harm, no foul under his pen.
  6. What was the deal with him? I read someplace where the fame went to his head and didn't learn until he went to SB, where he wasn't the star and his character was expendable. What happened at the end of his ATWT run?
  7. He did some decent stuff on The Doctors. Nothing earth-shattering, but watchable. Maybe his AW was like that.
  8. They would have had an absolute fan revolt if anything had happened to Robin. Good thing the story was rewritten.
  9. Here's the kind of story to make everyone feel good...falling out of the Forbes 400...😊😊😊😊😊 https://www.npr.org/2021/10/05/1043334210/donald-trump-forbes-400
  10. Mine, too. NLG wasn't afraid to get ugly and it made for great TV. The entire episode was awesome.
  11. Agreed, plus I didn't want every Presidential press conference to be a personal grievance airing.
  12. That was brilliant. 😊
  13. How bad are things at NBC that Natalie Morales is accepting an offer from The Talk? Their halcyon days when they were getting big name guests over The View are long gone. The Talk was dead last in the daytime ratings this past year. I can't imagine that even CBS will give them many more chances if their revamped version doesn’t work out.
  14. NLG's very best work on GH - or at least, it ranks up there with the very best. This episode was incredible.
  15. I don't know why she left acting, but she could have played villainy on soaps for some time to come! At least her work is still available to watch.
  16. Agreed.
  17. The fewer times we have to hear their names after this, the better. They are no heroes.
  18. Not a bad comparison, though they did get almost 20 years out of The Doctors.
  19. She did make a very compelling villainess. Those creepy smiles, the sugary sweet yet venomous voice...
  20. Definitely a different time. I didn't even find pictures from events like the Daytime Emmys!
