Yeah, despite the characters being siblings, the mise en scene is very 70s Y&R! And actually, sibling lovers is on brand for Bell anyway. 😆

This would probably work better after it starts, but a good promo for the non-soap audience to me would be: Person walking on treadmill: I watch it in the morning while I work out. Person in office chair: It's the perfect lunch break when I'm working from home. Couple in bed: We unwind with it after the kids are in bed. Person on sofa with popcorn: It's my guilty pleasure weekend binge. Beyond the Gates: A new drama airing 5 days a week on CBS Daytime or Paramount Plus.

It's a good promo but for the primetime spots I almost wonder if it would be a good idea to mention it's a new drama, airing 5 episodes a week, to watch live or binge on Paramount Plus. I mean, I guess the general public still knows what soaps are, but they've been off the radar for SO long. Maybe I'm way off. To me that would be a selling point.

I wonder how many of the 27 sets can be up at once... that factor seems just as important as having them. Loved how proud the cast sound of their work, especially Tamara Tunie! ❤️

My DVR doesn't have Y&R and B&B set for Monday. Guessing they are preempted for the inauguration.

I was thinking that was John Driscoll as Chance in the back, so that would be Billy Miller. The pic seems compressed and it's hard to see clearly.

The Mamie one is August 11, 1995. Don't know the other one, not even sure which Billy it should be.

I thought EB did wonderful, quiet work as he and Victoria watched her house burn down, despite the lack of set and cheesy CGI: And recall how emotional he was at the rebuilt Newman home. I hope he can have a moment like this IRL with his wife as soon as practicable.

Not Taylor texting play by play to her daughter while she and Ridge are doing it... 🤢 My thought is that was a red herring.

OMG, I watched Monday and Tuesday back to back. Monday was gold. All the applause for Brooke. Didn't think I could be so invested still in 2025! The way she tossed Taylor aside... 😆 And then on Tuesday, Steffy is literally SNIFFING this new character like a dog. What the actual eff?

It never fails that on a day I'm caught up and watching same day there's a special report! Third time in a row! 😅

Hi Errol, and happy new year! Was there any resolution (no pun intended!) to this? Can we have back at least the ability to edit our own private messages? I have some PM threads that become rather long and sometimes I need to edit some information into the first post so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I used to be able to edit even months after the fact.

For Y&R I wish the people who curated all those Brenda Dickson 80s clips had done the same for the 70s and had the Phillip drunk driving saga and all of the Kay and Jill storyline. Eric Braedens first episode and early stories, especially when he held Julia's lover in a cage. The Chris Brooks rape storyline with Tony Geary as the rapist. Quinn Redeker is rumored to have played the prosecutor. In general I wish we had all the episodes since the early 80s collected like other shows seem to have.
