So cute! It kills me that someone recorded the promos, but never the episodes. I think Nikki is wearing the outfit from when she met with Rose in December 1979 to set up the rendezvous with Walter Addison. Isn't the blonde in the second gif Leslie with her hair blonde as "Priscilla." In February 1980, Lorie was forced by Vanessa to divorce Lance, supposedly for his own good. Vanessa was going to reinstate him at Prentiss only if she divorced him. He had been very depressed losing his place to Lucas. I really hate those stories where people who love each other get a divorce due to external causes (also done with Leslie/Brad and Lauren/Paul).

I do love that "fool" speech. Encapsulates my feelings about Jack lol.

Apropos of nothing, I wonder if CBS even has the rights to broadcast P&G soaps anymore. Maybe a separate thread should be started to speculate on the break before BTG.

Still want her back on Y&R even though she's moved on to bigger things!

There was a sort of foreshadowing months earlier when Ridge slipped into Caroline's bed when she first got her apartment, and let her think they slept together, until she implied he must have been bad in bed since she didn't remember anything. He's such an ass, then, now, and forever.

She deserves some happiness! She's been candid about going through issues starting a family.

I feel like I read a rumor on here that it was because Redd was younger? Both are good actresses and agree either could have played the part fine. I don't see a need for the change.

Up to Monday and the way Sharon is trying to justify herself is awful. At this point it really doesn't matter if she killed Heather or not. She makes it sound like she wants credit for not poisoning Daniel.

Since she obviously planted that story, would have been nice if she'd mentioned something she liked about the show other than the paycheck.

Depends on network interference. Y&R is suffocating in it but it's not clear just how much is Sony (I think a lot) vs CBS. B&B being so tepid could be mostly Bradley's lack of imagination than the network telling him to tone it down. I don't know, maybe he does have a lot of control because it's hard to believe the Eric cuck storyline and the Luna mint rape made it to air. So I'm just going to hope for the best that we're seeing her true vision but acknowledge it might not always be. The NAACP is going to have their say too.

Aw, can't say I was a fan of her portrayal but she seems so sweet and she really loves the show. She used to play Victor and Nikki with her Barbie dolls! Agree that the child Abby was the most one. Frankly the daughter of Ashley and Victor should have more intelligence and vulnerability.

I felt like it was a party dress. Not bridal enough.

I really liked all the dresses except Abbys ironically.
