  1. Question... in the vault, there are bonus scenes for some of the episodes (they might have been uploaded by our dear @Marquise) through October 2020. Does anyone have more recent ones? A friend is specifically searching for bonus scenes with Sheila in them.
  2. Yeah, YouTube automatically scans uploads for copyrighted material. If there is a copyrighted song, they will either ban your video, mute the song, or publish your video with the song and give royalties to the owners. This eliminates the need to research the music rights.
  3. I think the good news is the show is set in DC, but it's not Capitol. The political aspect is there but it's not the sole premise of the show. They started filming before the election results so presumably they wrote it without overt references to the administration. If the appetite to focus on politics isn't there, there's still plenty of fodder in a diverse soap that emphasizes class differences. If we look at the character bios again, there's several who aren't involved in politics and the ones in politics have other storyline potential. It was always a risk including it, so we'll just have to wait and see.
  4. This is kind of promising. It's a clip from the day after Nikki and Victor's wedding (April 16, 1984). They always show their wedding (April 13, 1984) but to my knowledge, this is the first time they have shown an official clip from this episode, so it shows some willingness to open up their vaults a teensy bit:
  5. Multi shooting days suggests remotes and shooting out of order because a lot of sets are used.
  6. How about rapist Derek Stuart on Y&R? Going through the trial inspired Cricket to become an attorney, and also introduced John Silva and longtime DA Glenn Richards to the show. I also suspect that the corporate yuppie revealed as a rapist was an inspiration for Michael Baldwin later on.
  7. I hope they add a line that Amy has been in contact with ace detective, Paul Williams!
  8. A new costume designer is needed. Whoever is doing it now thinks "rich" people wear tacky sequins and slinky gowns everywhere including work (which is conducted in a coffeehouse). These clothes are probably expensive, but look cheap. The best dressed are actually Diane and Chelsea and I think it's because they aren't supposed to have as much money (at least when Diane first came to town) so they wear very basic good quality things.
  9. I thought Obba Babatundé was brilliant in his clip! Oh, wait...
  10. Usher's guest appearance on B&B. He slept with Amber, casting the paternity of her child into doubt. Not knowing what race the baby would be, she went home to death valley for a home birth, had a stillborn, stole cousin Becky's baby, and that eventually brought baby daddy Deacon to town, kicking off decades of story and spawning the character of Hope Logan.
  11. When Leanna was writing Ruthless (but Victor thought she was working on his authorized biography), he offered to take her on a helicopter ride to see the whole ranch, so I guess it's pretty big, haha.
  12. Well, so much for all the fan driven dream casting, hah. This explains why they weren't dribbling out names and waited to announce a large group. They'll save the remaining bigger names (whether from soaps or elsewhere) til close to premiere. Between the political angle and the casting, definitely feels like they are going for the streaming audience and not the network soap audience.
  13. The Crimson Lights set itself is not bad but they should get rid of some of the background tchotkes.
  14. It's so bizarre to me that there are paparazzi photos of that outing. You wouldn't even immediately recognize her as a celebrity, so unless they were arranged pap shots, which makes absolutely no sense, I can't figure out how those pictures got published. It feels exploitative. She's just an elderly private citizen going out for a walk. I am glad she's able to be out and about and is not bedridden but yeah, I doubt she'll return to the show.
  15. I hate to think that people could get annoyed or break the rhythm of the new show and give up. Ugh.
  16. Classic soap episodes please! Y&R also premiered in March. I like your idea of February. The problem with January is not so much the planned preemption for the inauguration, but the possibility of lots of press conferences from the new President. While many people will be streaming BTG instead of watching the network broadcast, CBS does not upload a show when there's a national preemption and that's going to create confusion when there's missing days on the app.
  17. All but assuring Emmy gold for BTG. We know the academy loves him! I am a bit surprised that they didn't dribble out casting announcements after the huge Tamara Tunie news, to keep up the momentum.
  18. Amy was likable but a goody two shoes... Olivia was more layered and the relationship between her and Drucilla ultimately gave us the amazing Lillie Bell confrontation.
  19. I found her acting excellent, preferred her over the generic Debbi Morgan re-write. Yolanda's pain was very real when she was still in the throes of her addiction. Devon's frustration here is palpable. Here are some short clips:
  20. Nice! But no Moses? Wait, is Devon and Abby's wedding going to commemorate the 13,000th episode the way Chance and Abby's wedding was the 12,000th? 😅
  21. Good, I was hoping Christine would do that! A new telling of Little Red Riding Hood for Lucy. "My, my, grandmother, what large t!ts you have!"
