Holy F#%%!!! 😮😲😬 I was hoping this was news that Griffith was fired….Everyone has basically said it but clearly CBS/SONY wants to bury this show before it can get to 65 years…Griffith has no clue what’s he’s doing and this is gonna just be more of a nothing show then it already is…even worse then that though.

Passions - Ivy/Theresa. They became closer when Ethan first choose Theresa over Gwen, then of course after Gwen framed Theresa for the tabloid scandal, Ivy turned against Theresa for the remainder of the show, until the final 2 episodes.

Gosh, now I'd love to see her and Braeden in something together...they would despise each other! Was this really her last episode? It just seems so underwhelming to have her exit like that, even if Rauch orchestrated it this way. I'm glad she's surfaced in a few of these 1985 uploads. For as depressing as it is, knowing what was happening behind the scenes with Ellen during all this, It's just nice when we see her appear in these episodes. I wish there were more complete years with her available, even 1983-1985.

Why?? I mean this was the nicest thing the show did was make this channel and air these episodes and now they decide to butcher them??....I shudder to think how old Y&R videos would look now on an official channel if they keep up with this. Is at least Season 7/ 1993 ok? since they are still uploading those?

Probably saying a lot that's been said, but sticking to the main 4 I've watched the most over the years. PSSNs - Campy, Wacky, Dramady, Supernatural, Unrealistic, OTT characters. DOOL - Also Campy and supernatural, but to a lesser extent then PSSNS, family oriented, Action Adventure, Super couples, Romance, Super Villains, Comedic Y&R - Moody, Gothic, Old Hollywood Style acting and Lighting, Dry subtle Humor, Cooler Characters that leave lasting impressions, Beautiful looking actors and actresses, psychological , rich, seductive, Business oriented, Lush and Lavish B&B - Similar to Y&R in style and mood, scandalous, sexy, Incestuous, Glitz and Glamour, Beautiful Remotes, Campier then Y&R

It amazes me how good the shows budget was in 2005. They could at least have a real location shoot for Daniel and Lily. The dressing up as fruit, selling smoothies seems very classic soap humor, especially for Y&R. After hearing her podcast interview, I feel like that is the Y&R Sally Sussman wanted to give us back.

And it’s amazing how much they covered In only a few short months, Cora died 7/25/84. I would think a story like that would be a 6 month arc

The show doesn’t want a strong Victoria so I don’t think it matters at this point if Heinle or anyone else is playing her.

People really are leaving us left and right this year I use to love watching Laverne and Shirley reruns on nick at nite (back in the good old days) it’s hard to believe they are both gone now..

(She did say once in another interview that she still kept in touch with him and even went out for frozen yogurt with him, on one of the days he visited the set or something, so that's cool) I'd had forgotten about the Lauren/Cane kiss....another pairing Goddard asked not to do I imagine....

I loved Tracey's story about getting Jeanne to feed her son his bottle, since her mom had trouble doing it...Those little stories about Jeanne always make me smile and miss her more! DId Locher mean to ask about Peter Barton (Scott Sr) and just said Bergman instead? he's lucky Tracey actually did have quite a bit of screen time with Bergman over the last couple of years, or else I'd still think it was an error of sorts.

Except the differences were that Stephanie was supportive or at least tried to see the good in Amber (until she wanted Thomas, haha) where Katherine didn’t really warm up to Nina until the David Kimble trial, and Kimberly and Amber just hated each other.

The constant Lauren/Danny makeout sessions during the video would have pissed me off too if I were Paul or Patty...haha total overkill! I remember a story once from Tracey where she said, her parents were on set the day they watched the video, and she was embarrassed by all the lovemaking scenes between her and MD.
