It would be nice if they did devote the entire evening for a Y&R anniversary special. They did one for GH for their 50th.

Yeah I enjoyed the episode too, definitely better then I expected. Even some of the stale plots like Victor/Nikki were interesting. The Jack/Diane stuff and the beginning of Little Daniels meningitis were the highlights of the episode.

The Lauren episode is the only thing that sounds interesting! Lol

One of the rare instances where they actually acknowledged it was Halloween on the show. I feel like that didn't begin until Kay Alden took, over and other writers just continued it.

While I’m sort of glad Taylor shooting Bill was brought up again after all these years, I was really hoping Thomas would be the surprise accomplice/ new hook up for Sheila…it wouldn’t make any more sense then Bill teaming up with her, but then again what does make sense with this show anymore.. haha I thought the same thing RE: Brooke and Taylor! Honestly with how much Thudley likes the buzz, he’s gonna go there for Feb sweeps.

Actually I think the worst mention of Mary's death was under Griffith and JFP the first time. There was a scene with Paul and Lauren where she referred to her as the "late" Mary Williams I think?

Haha that’s the 4th of July 1991 episode! yeah it’s a cringe moment for sure then to top it all off Brock starts singing his famous battle hymn. Didn’t Victor have a similar scene his very first 4th of July, 11 years earlier when he punched out someone for not sharing his beliefs on America as well.

Haha, I remember thinking they were gonna rerun that 2005 wedding during Covid but thank goodness they didn’t. Yet they showed the Sheila/Lauren yacht fight episode from a week later when they could have showed the lab fight instead. I wish they showed Rex’s funeral from December 1994, they made a montage of Danny’s “greatest hits” for his return tomorrow and they showed the scene where Phyllis crashes the funeral and Danny confronts her.

It was, and while I’m always happy for a real classic, I wish it would be something different…I guess with this being the second or third time they are re-airing this it’s just already ready to be shown.

As bad as B&B can be, I commend the fact they still have money to do remotes. GH looks a hell of a lot better then Y&R these days too.

That's such a sad yet hilarious assessment! considering how much the show used to thrive on utilizing their extras and under 5's as much as possible.

I feel like somehow Thomas will end up being the key to Sheila’s freedom. I mean he’s basically written in a corner thanks to the CPS stunt, so why not have him influence them to let her go? Why should the fact he shot Steffy and Finn stop him?
