POTOMAC Now that it is seem like all the ladies might have gotten their letter (still nothing from Gizelle and Robyn from what I can tell), Season 6 is going to be interesting indeed. And I do wonder where they will go. OC Well since SLC is not loaded on my ON DEMAND for some reason (*side-eye*), I went ahead and watched OC. It felt like filler. Not that there were not things going on. But filler all the same. We had seen the pre-Covid. We had seen Covid hitting. And while there were still aftereffects, it does feel like they are settling into 'the new normal' of Covid being here. Especially in Emily's case. Wow. But it does seem like Braunwyn vs Everyone has begun. It was not at all a good look that she was bored during lockdown and thought it was a good idea to investigate Elizabeth's background. Then she's saying things about Shannon being behind that. Drama, drama for the sake of it. And now I have to side-eye her a little bit as well. But we'll see... BRAUNWYN. And then I looped back around. lol. I liked that Elizabeth called her out. And interesting that Kelly mentioned in her TH (and Elizabeth said it, too) that it seem less about Elizabeth lying...which she was not...and Braunwyn wanting attention. It was not even good messy. I did not even think it was a good idea for Elizabeth to confide in her about her life in a cult. It just seems like the main drama coming will be the fact that people tell Braunwyn something and she winds up telling someone else. I know she's on her own journey, but if she can't be a good friend during it. Well...not a good friend. ELIZABETH. Well. A cult. That explains a lot. Definitely understood her reasons for not telling everything about herself. She had just met them. Makes perfect sense. Still dead to me. GINA. Not a thing. I think her being in the background is working for her. And as for Matt? Well...I am sure she will do what is best for her kids. KELLY. Comic relief. hehe...riding. However, I expect she will be the one pot stirring very soon. EMILY. Darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn, Emily. So worried about Shane, worried about her kids and still having to take care of them while Shane is in the hospital, AND having Covid. I felt all of that. Another case of real and how Covid can affect you. And there are plenty of people out there that if they do not have anyone to run to could relate. SHANNON. So...she did get it. I was seriously starting to worry if she did and it was just her kids, but yep. She got it. And she reacted. I admit that there was a moment if she was being Shannon and just overreacting. I've been waiting to see how Shannon handled it and how it might be educative. But Emily did that more this week than Shannon did. And that John is a keeper if he was willing to stay with her even if he knew he could get it. So...drama is coming. But for now...filler.

Not really. If there was no Co-Vid, WW1984 would have made a killing. They want to make that money back and out of all the DC movies, we know she's a successful brand.

Exactly!!! Until proven otherwise, I feel Porsha is like a lot of us this year. After George Floyd, a lot of people took a good look at themselves and just say 'enough.' That she was doing it long before filming started spoke volumes for where her head was. Yes, she is not used to be an activist...but she appears to have learned it quickly by the time filming did start. And I don't find it fake. So...what has Kenya got to show us? One is keeping it real. The other...is being side-eyed. Because love her or hate her...Kenya's persona is coming back to bite her. Is any of the Marc stuff real or not? Why is she still with him? Meanwhile, you have Porsha marching, Porsha getting arrested, Porsha doing it again, Porsha living for her daughter and discovering her worth and dropping Dennis. Porsha is growth. Love to see it. Kenya is not in a good place so she is looking kinda green. Green is not a good look. So...either she is jealous or playing the role of villain to get attention to the show. Sadly, she can do villain without picking on BLM. Shame on her. Yeah. A day later, and I'm still angry about it.

OMG!!! This day has been full of crazy. Where do I even begin??? I was like POTOMAC So Mr. Chocolate has now threatened to sue Monique in the next few days for slander if she does not take back what she said about him at the reunion, mad his number (even though we did not hear it) was thrown out there. Monique's very good (and very shady in his replies) lawyer has already said they HAVE THE RECIEPTS and has no problem bringing up EVERYTHING. MEANWHILE, Chris countersued him and said he has three days to delete all his allegiations about Chris having CTE and the rest of the mess in his videos. AND TO ADD ON...The Mistress to Mr. Chocolate apparently has surfaced and did an interview somewhere. The one who was the one Monique was talking about. I... DEAD. BH Tricia's lawyer is coming for Erika. She has been accused of criminal conduct and harrassment (I believe on the last part). Her doing that post with Tricia's number resulted in Tricia getting harrassed by fans of her. So she is wanting that book thrown at Erika. And I believe they were in court today. RHOA No, Kenya, no. Just a bad look for her...and I love Kenya. What do I mean...? THIS. This is all...MESS!!!

She's been trying to provoke Porsha for a while. Thankfully so far...Porsha has not bit. What Monique did is a gentle breeze compared to what Porsha will do when or if she turns her attention to Lil Miss Fake. She really DON'T want that. ETA: Apparently Twitter is dragging Andy all over its landscape. GOOD.

OC Well...that was unexpected. That was the big talk that led to the BLM talk? On one hand, I would probably have more of an opinion if I was not 3 weeks behind on SOUTHERN CHARM and they were dealing with another statue situation and what said statue represented. And as far as a statue...I am of two minds. One...for better or for worse it is part of history and I found myself shocking agreeing with Kelly Dodd. If we erase our history we as a people are doomed to repeat. That is something the history of the world has sadden shown. Heck, some of us are dealing with that here right now. Two...I agree with Braunwyn that if something is offensive that due to centuries of history and what it represents...yep...it should come down. But...what to do? And then when does offensive just be a offensive because it is a offensive or offensive because someone feels slighted that shouldn't? It is a slippery slope. Perhaps Elizabeth (and shockingly Gina) said it best when she said the fact that the whole debate...and it leading into talking BLM and police...made her question her privelege is a sign that BLM as a movement is working because awareness is now present. Sometimes it is good to question. Meanwhile, it was good to see some of them are now getting the seriousness of Corona. Of course it is as it personally hits them. Sadly. BRAUNWYN. I'll say this right now...I do like she is trying to be informed and informing others. I like her showing her sobriety journey still. However, for the first time I found myself wondering if Kelly was right. Is Braunwyn being real or just pushing an agenda? Especially last week after she said in passing she hit her husband often. I was thinking it was the one time in frustration for being in lockdown. But she did it more? Meanwhile, she just came across very attention seeking. Not a good look. KELLY. I continue to find it funny that for someone who thinks Corona is a hoax, she still takes care to be sure she is careful. Meanwhile, she had a bit (just a bit) of sense in that talk with Braunwyn. However, she barely hid her belief that she thought BLM were little more than rioters. She caught herself, but not quick enough. ELIZABETH. Still dead to me. GINA. Surprisingly not bugging me. And she talked a bit of sense, too. It is good to see she has some self-awareness and sees that yeah...Kelly could wear a hoodie and probably not get shot vs a black man or woman. EMILY. I didn't see that Emily and Shane got it so I was shocked. And...other than a little bit of pot stirring...Old Emily was finally back. And watching her whole section was very informative. The frustration of testing. Having to deal with kids when you got it. Not even being allowed in the hospital and worrying. It was all there. And it was all real. Other than the virus, this is the Emily I want to see. SHANNON. Meanwhile, Shannon came through and showed what it was like to isolate...pros and cons. And I knew that she would. I did giggle at her children ribbing her. And of course, Shannon would be on top on it. I like how she handled it...even in her own Shannon way. Decent episode.

RHOA Well after the sh*tshow that was Part 2 of POTOMAC, I definitely wanted something a little more light before I do a rewatch. And I was so busy running around that I missed the first half. It was another building episode I found. Next week (well Jan 3 when the next new episode will be) will be when the drama really starts when the Porsha/Kenya feud reignites. Until then... KENYA. I liked her bonding with LaToya. Given how broken she's been, what she needs is a friend. And LaToya does need an in. Given this show needed some new energy, I didn't mind it at all. I giggled at LaToya twerking on the couch. And...another Brandon cameo. Slowly, but surely, Kenya is getting back to her old self. That said...I am not looking forward to the next episode. I feel a feud with Porsha is a step back. I was sad their friendship ended last season, but that was Porsha's fault. And while she appears to have some of the blame for this coming...Kenya appears to also be responsible. And no one wants another Nene vs Kenya fight that goes nowhere. PORSHA. Apparently, people feel someone bringing something real to the world is...boring? I could see that...but Porsha is not necessarily being preachy with it. And most importantly, she is trying to not be repetitive. So...ENTER THE PW POSSE!!! She is standing in her truth...and still having fun. I found it all informative and I pondering if I could be doing more. And...TANYA IS BACK!!! For how long...we don't know. But good to see that friendship again with Porsha and not Bitter Tanya that we got last season. KANDI. Nothing much going on that stands out. I found it funny that Kandi wanted her old body back since last season was the best her body has looking IMHO. Looks in confessionals. Size. Just BANG!!! DREW. Her and her man continue to give me NJ Amber and Jim vibes. LATOYA. Last week she was a tryhard. This week...well...Kenya needs a friend and someone to get her to have fun again. Sometimes a new person can do that. FALYNN. So far, so good. So very rich. I look forward to me. ETA: Oops. I found the 'star' of the show. CYNTHIA. GIRL, QUIT!!! I suspect that the reason she is being this way is that producers were going to make her leave, but she gave them this wedding storyline. She is coming across of a ruder version of herself from Season 7. I liked Season 7 Cynthia because she had a backbone. Fire. But she is going off on all the wrong people. Malorie. Mike. Kenya in the next episode. She is doing too much. And she is being REAAAAAALLLY selfish. Not like Cynthia at all. However, that last scene...was very real. So she gave us something.

Well...when you are a tight knit production...which POTOMAC is...one is not surprised. I am honestly shocked that now that ALL of the evidence is out and about Monique is STILL the villain when other people are showing they are not innocent either. I do find this schism fascinating though. For example, clearly they did not seem to know this was coming so I wonder if POTOMAC will now be in jeopardy for example. And if not...what changes are going to be made for Season 6.
