BH Episode 11. And totally a misunderstanding on Garcelle's end. Now everyone else's...??? If Episode 10 was about setting up Erika to have a big fall, this episode felt like the Coven needing a convenient scapegoat to me. As usual Kyle was background. It was telling when Erika had her meltdown that Ex Soap Opera Star was there with tissue ready and throwing daggers with her eyes at Garcelle. And then Dorit wanted to paint a picture...a comment she made earlier in the episode ironically about Erika. Felt a lot like gaslighting. And I can't say those tears looked fake. As others have mentioned, were the tears real because Erika had been caught in a lie and thus, deflection? Probably. Such a careful house of cards she was trying (and doing poorly) to keep from falling. And...Oops!!! In any case, she's lucky Garcelle didn't drag her like how she drags Ex Soap Opera Star every chance she got. That said...if this is about having a scapegoat, it is good to see Crystal and Sutton have Garcelle's back. She'll need it. More notes... KYLE. So sniper from the side. It was telling to me that the next day after Erika talked about Tom's crash, there she was with the Coven (+ Crystal) really and truly trying to save that 'Tom was mean' narrative. It made me wish that there was some way for Tom to have his own narrative. Not that he is not to blame, just because right now we really only have one person's word: Erika. And she has proven not to be completely reliable. Of course, she would sit back during Erika's meltdown. The better to have others do the heavy lifting. And lest, we forget...Kyle is the one with the wacky sister. God, she's so calculated. DORIT. Hehe. Trying to be Team Coven and sneaking in to attack Garcelle, too. SMH. Bad look, honey. EX SOAP OPERA STAR. Over there next to Erika playing Taylor McBride with those looks and arm moves. Speaking of calculated...THIS. She was just waiting to pounce on Garcelle for something. Trash box. CRYSTAL. Didn't really do much, but have Garcelle's back. Good for her. SUTTON. THANK YOU for having common sense. Of course, this meltdown is about something else. And definitely seem to be on the nose of what's up given her past experience. GARCELLE. Heart was in the right place. Also due to past experience. It was clear a misunderstanding. And Garcelle has always established that she is a straight shooter AND a ride-or-die kinda of friend. And those friends WILL keep a secret if told. No one told her so she revealed something she shouldn't have. And she owned that. I also liked that she did not back down from anyone trying to gaslight her. That said...I hollered at the Hamzat suit. ERIKA. I swear watching just makes me think of POTOMAC's Robyn saying you almost had me. For every moment I feel she gets a little real, there are so many more when it feels staged or fake. And I also have to keep in mind what she was doing online as this was being filmed on top of that, making it hard to be sympathic at all. And then jumping Garcelle? Girl, go look in the mirror with your sloppy self-editing work!! That's on you slipping, not on Garcelle for mentioning it when she did not know nor is she Jean Grey. You can have ALL the seats. And just because I did not mention her, Kathy is still a hoot.

SLC SEASON 2 TRAILER!!!! AKA BOOM!!!!

BH Well I'm finally sitting down (with a glass of wine) and playing a game of catch up. And I left off at Episode 10 and...WOW. Episode 10 is the start of the La Quinta trip (which must have been what they filmed without Garcelle here in my area of town a while ago) and the story of Erika and Tom's car crash. What I found interesting about it was...it already seems like lines are being drawn. And moreso since it's a Garcelle-less episode, the fact that it revealed cracks in the Coven. Surely Erika did not tell Kyle, Dorit, and Ex Soap Opera Star to pick on her character in their confessionals. Aren't they supposed to have her back? Yet here was Kyle throwing shade. And there was Ex Soap Opera Star bringing up the orphans and widows and burn victims. Meanwhile, there was Dorit with the whole article about the assets being frozen. ALL behind Erika's back and when she was not around. And then there they were trying to be sympathetic friends to her face. In fact, the only ones who seem to be (or looked) caring was Kathy, Crystal, and...to a lesser extent...Dorit. Kyle and Ex Soap Opera Star...kept giving looks to each other during the 'confessional.' And for all their COVENness, it seem like they are finally and slowly throwing Erika under the bus and setting her up. Even now, PK is already telling Dorit to keep her distance. And yet for all of that...Erika and that 'acting...' Lord...so much bad extra. That said...I felt there were silvers where she came across...justifically upset...and that made her real. And then she would pull some lame mood, or be fake tough, or take to making a narrative...and that realness fell apart. And NO, I would be like Sutton, confused over that story, too. So...quick notes... KYLE. People are already saying that it's going to be her vs Erika come Reunion time. And you know what? Just looking at this episode, I believe it. Up until now, it would seem Kyle...both Kyle and Producer Kyle...had Erika's back. So perhaps at some point even Producer Kyle saw the writing on the wall...or the Producers did...and are now starting to set Erika up. And yes, I do not feel Erika will take kindly to watching all this back and seeing it. Before Kyle would be all 'be honest, walk in her truth, etc.' Now she really is throwing major shade at Erika, even hinting that Erika is putting on an act. Damning to her courtcase for sure. Thankfully, she has Kathy to keep her appearing human. Though...why are they letting her cook again? DORIT. Bringing up the frozen assets? Hmmm...did that Coven have a BTS meet? It was just so produced and even I arched an eyebrow. And then those scenes with PK and FINALLY touching on the lawsuit they had seriously. Well, using it as the reason for Dorit to strategically back away from Erika. Obvious and yet...well played. EX SOAP OPERA STAR. Look at her running with the frozen assets narrative. Using it to mention the victims. Something Erika has not done up until now. So funny given how she keeps wanting to be Erika's BFF. SUTTON. Hmmmm...I see her wheels turning. Which I find sad since she really has been truly supporting Erika right up until now. Now that doubts are creeping in, we know this won't end well. CRYSTAL. I like her and Sutton getting along, but I am disappointed that it happened off screen. Her feud with Sutton has carried the whole first half of the season and we as viewers deserved to see them turn the corner AND the process of the turned corner. As Sutton would say...that's not right. All right onto Episode 11...

Given who he's married, I would hope so. lol. And loving him on ROSWELL NEW MEXICO as well. LORD!!!!!!!!!!!! OH....?

That makes me wonder if they are considering Maxie with Austin. ugh. That said...I like these.

While there are times that it does slllow to a crawl, I do like the slow burn feel to it. I am curious though if he will not be discovered until November Sweeps...almost a year if I'm not mistaken.

Oh for sure, we don't know everything. However, we know ENOUGH to form opinions with the facts presented. And even then, we had enough to ask the hard questions which it sounds like Garcelle and Sutton have started to do...not to mention what is out there. But I do look forward to seeing how they did it since I've gotten behind due to life and will be playing catch up. That said...one can have compassion and still know when someone is guilty. I know I wouldn't want to be in her shoes, but I would still have acted better than how she's been acting (up until recently I might add) and showed some remorse...even if it was just for show because I was hurt by my husband.

7-30 YAY!!! MADE IT TO THE END OF THE MONTH!!! And I'm OVER Austin. Just...ugh. Just everywhere even when he doesn't need to be there. And now...NOW...he wants to be at this bday party and hint he might have heard Maxie and BrookLynn. Ugh. I don't even want to see a Austin/Michael rivalry now and it actually started off promising. And oooooo at this gaslighting that Spencer is doing to Ava. Ironic THERE's Nik doing the same to Liz. Like father, like son indeed. lol. That said...I had stopped watching during most of this Hayden shooting stuff so to hear this is a rewrite...I have to get around to watching those clips posted in here of what actually happened. Awwww...Chase is walking. So that must mean he will find out about Michael/Willow and probably not tell anybody. Well...if this leads to Brooklyn/Chase, I'm down. lol.

So...I was right. Maybe. Re: SLC trailer. Hmmmm...when I saw the question, my first thought was 'outside of Kyle, what other Housewife has friends in RL outside of their respective show?' Teresa came to mind immediately especially now. But then...it said someone unexpected so given all the bread crumbs...could it be Dorinda? Like everyone is saying here, the groundwork definitely seems to be started to bring her back? Or maybe it's an OG on a show that is no longer on a show that people want to see whom name is not Bethanny or Nene. That said...POTOMAC should totally be included in AS 2. Long shot...Porsha?

SLC Well...Jen's trial got pushed back to March 2022. And Season 2 trailer might be out tomorrow at the earliest and next week at the latest...? AW HELL NO!!!! What we ain't gonna do is a gang-up on Garcelle. And THANK YOU Production for giving Garcelle receipts to show. Same girl. Ex Soap Opera Star can't say Jack about OWNING IT.

I definitely agree. 6 seasons in and the dynamic STILL does not at all feel stale. And love them or hate them, this show knows how to introduce strong newbies...whether liked or not...that bring a different flavor.

*gasps* But seriously, I was about to say that a lot of people here like Marge. But I see they are speaking up. She started fun for me, but it was clear that she is gunning for Teresa and that just went meh. Of course, I am not a regular viewer of NJ until recently. @Cat Ooohh it's not just me. lol. re: Wendy.

POTOMAC Just like I like my Potomac...easy and breezy. I thought this episode was a nice taste of what's to come next week. The first group trip. And the battle lines have definitely been drawn. Mia/La Dame/Wendy vs The Green Eyed Bandits with Candiace in the middle. And then you have wild cards like Ashley (who will be bringing it and being messy next week) and Alaska (okay, that nickname is really sticking). And it evens out so well given who is (and who is not) getting along so the dynamic is going to be crazy fun over the next few episodes. Just tonight alone was fun to watch. Meanwhile, we got solo scenes to deepen Mia, get into Ashley's head pre-trip, and of course setting up the main plot...the start of the Eddie rumors...which as we know (and Wendy has emphasized online after everyone, me, and their mama said online), started in the edited scene with Gizelle and was reshot (again?), by Gizelle with Ashley this episode. Hmmm...who did she try to do that on before? Hmmm... LA DAME. I have mentioned that I felt that La Dame was coming across more vicious. But THIS was more like the La Dame I was used to seeing. Unbothered. If anyone was bothered this time around, it was Gizelle. It showed from the first time La Dame got on the bus. Then just seeing Wendy and La Dame getting along. Then later on at the house. And she was just so...triggered, she had to get that dig in at Ray and the taxes. Oh, delicious irony right now! Meanwhile, all she got from La Dame was DUST!!! La Dame was there to have fun and kiki and she did. She was hilarious on the stripper pole challenge. And I fully expect her to drag Gizelle (and Robyn since she keeps wanting to turn up) next week. GIZELLE. Bitter, bitter, bitter. That came through loud and clear for me. I admit that I was surprised that Dean did not react to her like he did La Dame. lol. But she continued to seem so pressed over La Dame's very presence. At La Dame's growing friendship with Wendy. At the fact Mia might be trying to get to know her, but she's TeamLaDame. And it was clear that if she was so upset over what La Dame, she would have done what she said and discussed it outside of the show and/or cameras. So she clearly wanted an audience...yeeeeeah no. She also wanted to start some mess with Wendy by repeating that rumor...well...TWICE. Shown or not shown, she did. Seems like a waste of energy and throwing away any goodwill (or editing) she managed to get over the last few episodes. BUT...it does keep it going. ROBYN. GUUUUUUUUUUUUURL, SHHHHHHHUTTTTTT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every time she spoke in defense of Gizelle (who can defend herself if she is the HBIC), I continued to think of the Season 2/3 episode when Drunk Karen read her down. She is truly Gizelle's shadows and is just itching to dragged into the corner with her when she is getting read down. Looks like she might get her wish next week when Wendy starts. And given that sneak peek that got released where Gizelle did not seem to have Robyn's back at all that's just sad that Robyn would have hers. But I'll reserve judgment until I see the whole scene. ASHLEY. Awww at the new baby. And I really liked how she described how she felt about having two sons. It really tracked with her history with her family and just resonated with me. But I guess Hades froze over because I'm ready for Messy Ashley to show up and we all know I loathe Messy Ashley, but given the pot shots that Candiace has taken at her for the last few episodes, it's time. MIA. And THIS is why it's a good thing if you are in a relationship when one is older than the other. They can have a different, but helpful perspective on things you might not see for yourself. So I liked the scene where Mia and her man talked about her mother and home life. I also liked her going on that dinner after all with the Green Eyed Bandits. She said she was willing so I'll give her that even if she is still TeamLaDame. And hahahahahahhahahaha at her on the stripper pole. ETA: DEAD. I think she won that easily with Candiace a close second. lol. CANDIACE. Surpisingly pleasant and low key this episode other than her continuing to shade Ashley. Oh, wait! She threw Wendy under the bus due to her getting closer to La Dame. Some best friend, huh? WENDY. Can she please go back to sounding like her she sounded last season? I thought it was just me, but she has this annoying a&* baby voice that she did not have last season and it's like nails on a chalkboard to me. In her confrontation scene next week, that sounds more like how I am used to her sounding so I need that back and not baby voice. Other than that, it was more of Second Season Wendy for me and that was just...kinda there. I know it won't be next week so I don't mind. Good episode for sure. Can't wait for the first fight which looks like Dr. Wendy vs BOTH Green Eyed Bandits.
