I mean didn't the last time Jason come back, Sonny and Carly immediately drop him, too? I wasn't regularly viewing then. You remind me of Anna clocking Carly, too, when Carly was hiding Jason at the house and stalling for him. Anna even knows at this point. lol. I wouldn't be surprised if at some point, a character will now call Jason out on that very thing. Watch. lol. Same way about my beards and especially my oj. Not hating. Just found it unexpectedly funny.

Oh, I totally agree!!! If Jason and Carly were not obsessed with each other, we all would side-eye them during this return. I still hollered in my head at the fact that as soon as Drew found out Jason was alive, he broke up with Carly and left with the quickness. And Drew has been around for their history as long as the rest of us. HOLLERED. Because...what he said to her as he broke up with her WAS...ALL..TRUE. So...consistency.

5-2 And to think I almost skipped the standalone. It just reminds me of GL Wednesdays and I never really loved those. And they are hit and miss at Y&R. Usually, they have almost no consequences on the show. But WOW!!! Seeing Jack fall off the wagon...IS a gamechanger. And fall low. And it doesn't seem seem like it was a fantasy of Nikki's either. So BOOM!!! Diane gets a story...and new energy a la new feud with Nikki going forward. But he has been from what I've seen in interviews, boards, all around. Didn't he and SC fall out over some comments he made years ago while Nick/Phyllis was back together. And then there was that time he gave an interview...maybe on THE TALK?...where he was asked about Nick's relationships and made a comment and then MS fell a way for a while. As a reason, he rarely speaks about Phyllis or Sharon in order to not get either woman in their feelings. And then there's the times JM always try to play up all his leading ladies not them over the years because the sad truth is that SC is his best acting partner, but JM is NOT hers.

That would be a GREAT compromise and I wouldn't mind them coming to that conclusion as well. I don't think Carly and Jason have been to bed...other than that almost moment before Sonny post-Nixon Falls walked in...since the 90s. They have just always been THAT close. But now that he has children (and babymamas), it does seem odd, but it's ALWAYS been that way.

5-3 I have to give credit where credit is due. I'm sure I've mentioned that LW is not my favorite Carly. And the writing has been all over with her Carly. So when there are moments when Carly is CARLY, I always get a little giggle. Such was the case when Carly waiting in Sonny's penthouse. God, that took me back to all the times Carly did in the 90s. And of course, she would get into it with whatever woman Sonny was involved it. So for that, this episode was like Old Home Week for me. lol. And dare it! If I didn't scream when she almost figured it out about Sonny and his meds. I guess it show how invested (and how long) the Sonny med storyline has been going on that I feel invested. Same for Alexis's quest to get her license back. Now we are down to picking out clothes. I can't believe it's closer. I'm still hoping that when (if) it does happen, Alexis does find herself beside her with her as lawyer vs her as editor. Also same for a feeling of investment...Drew and Nina. They are so falling for each other. You see it with Nina in Drew's car (and the fact she's in his car) and you see that with Drew when Nina is singing his virtues to the senator. And...I'm not minding it. Seeing all their hate slowly (slowly) melting. We know I live for Sonny/Dante scenes.

And I lived the FATAL ATTRACTIONS in real time...ooooooo the chills I've gotten from what I've seen. And I LOVED the Rogue to Jean shade.

In that dogfight of Willow, Sasha, and Michael...even the ladies outpace him at the moment. With Willow that's only because of the potential triangle that might come her way. And with Sasha...well...she's always had potential bad girl/girl down on her luck about her that bad writing aside works to her advantage. Such wasted potential. But at least he's in the Quartermaine fold again aside from that rushed tale.

Exactly. BB has gone too far. It will be somewhat interesting to see him try, but I ain't at all holding my breath.

See? The funny thing is he isn't my type either. And definitely don't like his rl personality. But I can say he's not ugly for the most part, but never really found him attractive...until the suits and dad bod. Michael...not my favorite of Sonny's kids...I'm...mostly indifferent now in a wasted potential sense. Another good story in the making for the saga of 'If/When Kristina loses the baby...'

Yeah, I've been waiting to see the clear dad bod he's been sporting under that suit...since everything else is in place and nice. Was not at all disappointed. Another actor who looks even MORE attractive with a little more meat on their bones. I'm not against that either. lol.

Yeah just like RH over on GH, I am wondering who has it out for SC other than JG cuz all the stories she could be getting now that she's normal again and all of her connections are firmly intact and yet...she is getting blink and you miss her scenes now? Make it make sense.

Oh, for real!!! I can feel I'm going to dread him getting his (JPL) hands on nuRHONY if it is true he's over there. Because so far I'm liking it. I did go ahead and read my first impressions from back when I watched the first episode. And I was SHOCKED at how my impressions had already changed. Except for BRYNN. lol. I believe that I'm on Episode 5 and still liking it so far. And I can go on about the architecture for days. Hehe. Well someone has to keep Ashley accountable. Yeah, I have to give credit where credit is due. I think everyone knows how I feel about Marge, but I think her tagline is my favorite. Cuz...true.

Thank you @Errol for the confirmation. I had seen things while playing catch-up, but nothing I trusted. So happy to see it here now that I have some time today. I loved Sprina. And it was (mostly) nicely done. And he was a big part of it. It would have happened eventually re: his leaving. So I wish him the best.

5-1 A tale as old as time when people are doing scandalous things...the near miss. Oops. Lol. The Nina/Drew mess continues to be fascinating to watch. Continuing my bias, I enjoyed the set-up with whatever is going on with Aidan. But I will take Liz anyway I can get her. And dare I hope to have a story with her that is not romantic or with Finn? I'm not sure how I feel about how they are writing Lucy. Yes, Lucy is self-absorbed to the point of being over the top. BUT Lucy was already a clever BUSINESSWOMAN. So all this mess with Home and Hearth and Maxie/Scotty trying to talk her off the ledge is really starting to bug me. Not that Lucy would not be this way. She would. But, they don't have to attack her self-esteem so much. I like that TJ and Molly are really starting to disagree over Kristina. Because for too long they really have been (mostly) in sync. And a happy couple CAN be a boring one. That said...TJ (even if he looked great in those jeans. WOOF) is coming across as a bit of jerk. LOVE the Alexis/Natalia scene. It is just nice to see Alexis as cute to how articulate as she can be. And some of her word choices just grabbed me dialogue wise. So...'Vanna' is never ever getting back together, huh? lol. I had to laugh at Val's attempt to romance Anna knowing that Anna's intelligence is currently WORKING. I just don't see Sonny bowing out without what usually happens...which is a power vacuum where some rival tries to take him out to be sure he doesn't want his power back. Or in my wildest dreams (before the surrogacy) Kristina stepping in.

5-2 I remember Ivy. lol. At least it gives Liam something to do other than dealing with his (other) exes. But I rme at Steffy giving even a hint of jealousy. I was so annoyed by Deacon, Finn, and the hunt for Sheila. God, that did drag. I did like to see some humor when they found her. And I guess I am one of the few Sheila fans here cuz she does have them nine lives. And that flashback episode was good work from KB. But I don't know where they can go with that. One can at least hope that BB will stop backing her into a corner writing wise though.

5-1 OMG! The therapist is real??? I continue to just let that be around in my head. It would have been more interesting if Ashley had just made him up to get the Abbotts off her scent. That said...always happy to see CC. And I liked his intro with Traci. Speaking of Traci...Traci vs Diane...I can be for that. BM continues to be good in this storyline...along with ED and her new persona. Sad to see the other one getting control. But it was a well done scene. I liked the Devon/Nate scene today. One thing I continue to love and like to see with the writers is ALWAYS having the tension between them there and beneath the surface, waiting for good moments to boil to the surface. And the scene this did did that. Cuz I was sitting there like Nate going...here goes Devon again. RME. Happy Nate checked him by reminding him that his way of doing things again was part (only part) of the reason they had a (very good) rivalry. And happy to see that Devon did not (okay a little bit) take it personally since he DID ask. #growth I'm sorry. I giggle every time that I see Victor and the cage. And I don't feel sorry for Jordan at all. Happy to see Claire found. Also happy to get that B&B reference between Michael and Lauren. Awwww....poor Nikki. MTS be selling it though.

But since it's not being scrapped, no reason to not discuss it among ourselves. I, for one, am glad for any spotlight on Elizabeth and her kids and have discussed it often enough to not have anyone shocked at my opinion. And going back to technique, in daytime we have seen people raise to the occasion. We seen people...well, not. We most definitely have seen not...only for them to grow when giving something to work with. It may work, it may not. But at least the attempt is made. If it works...like storylines that shouldn't but find a groove...good. If it doesn't...also good. They may be eating crow. They may be not. Nothing wrong with a wait and see.
