IKR. I think that was another thing I was surprised by with those scenes. That they were and truly was THAT good. The taste. But thank you. OOooh she was. And they did. Even Steve came to life and that shirt came off. Everyone was shocked here at how much chemistry. And it was unexpected and they even got a slow burn...before writing interference of course. Just cause it's been a minute....mmmmm BRENDA...hehe.

I thought the same thing. Or perhaps they did and they are showing her now so they have some form of context.

3-7 Well, I needed that opening with RJ in those pants with no shorts. But I'm a sucker for suited men. That said...OOOHHH SHUT UP, LIAM!!! No amount of sitting spread eagle is going to make me like Liam and trying to taunt Finn. And no to Hope/Finn though I liked she was there for him. Poor Deacon. But SK is selling it.

3-8 I guess that was a better week. But HELL NO to Phick again. Clearly they don't know what to do with Phyllis. I'm not even sure if I want Chris to go with Danny now. That said...they would have been better off just letting Christine send Giggly Heffa to jail. Now Ashley going off the deep end? Don't like it, but Eileen Davidson is selling it. Oh, Lord...there was only one note I didn't like (and Eileen still sold it)...the desperation when Ashley had watching Tucker and Audra together. But then again, perhaps it's good that Audra walked in. Because how TSJ was playing Tucker, his words were saying no, but his body language was not...no matter how much he made sure to keep Ashley's hands off him. I just watch Mariah/Tessa's scenes and shake my head. Happy Chance and Summer finally slept together, but Kyle better not catch feelings again. I won't miss Victoria's house. Though it does have memories of Billy Miller's Billy even time I saw it. I admit I hollered when Nikki put the liquor bottle out of the couch cushion. Was not expecting that. And Jack's look was priceless.

Hmmm...when you make me think about it...I guess I have accepted KMansi as Kristina. But at first...NO. They recasted her and then tried to do a major storyline with her with the surrogate. What they should have done...and ended up doing since we had a series of Molly recasts at the same time...was introduced her gradually with her own side story, allowing the audience to get used to her and get to know her and THEN do the surrogate storyline. And it did not help that they tried to set Kristina up as if she was AJ-lite among the Davis girls when to my knowledge...that was not how Kristina was under Lexi. Headstrong yes. But never-do-well no. So I'm really glad they stopped doing that, allowing me to like Kristina more. Now if Lexi wanted to come back...I would be down. The one I'm used to. And also I really and truly loved the tension between Lexi and Eden's Joss. I was so looking forward to the rivalry (Carly's girl vs Sonny's girl) that the writers started to built before the recast. Thank you for the information.

That reminds me. I wonder if that story is going somewhere now, too. I thought the 'I was misdiagosed' storyline was over and done. I was so taken aback at that. I was thinking have we seen him before? Was he in the Halloween episodes last year perhaps when Charlotte got shot? In any case, I did like him, too. And they did the right thing by playing him with the vets. Especially Genie. It could be a hint that she's coming home.

Yeah, I admit that I was surprised to see a scene with Kristina at Dante's side. Kinda of jarring even though Kristina does make frequent appearances at Sonny's side. As does Dante. So them together should be natural to me. It definitely has been plenty wisely re: Nina/Ava. Now can it raise to the level of karma/tragedy? Hmmm. Great minds re: Alexis. But now that's had some time working at newspaper, I'm not sure I would want Alexis back as a lawyer. When it first started, I cried foul. But I see how good Alexis is good at it. Or perhaps my college years are showing, but Alexis really found her legs there. But Alexis was always great as a lawyer as well. Still, it will be good to see if they will organically get her from Point A to Point B.

@Errol finally had time to read your article. Cannot wait. As for Paramount, I feel...and I'm sure it has been mostly discussed here as well...that since the strikes was efficient enough to cause a pause, that all companies are getting their lickback through these cancelling of shows and movies to save cost and/or AI. So many good shows are just getting cut right and left right now. Which of course, makes the news of a new soap that must more surprising. However, now that Paramount has merged with my tv system, that just makes me side-eye that must more seeing that header for the article. Also why I cannot get into any Netflix shows knowing that they are more than likely to be cancelled after one season.

ARTICLE: Christel Khalil’s Back as Lily in Genoa City, and That Spells Trouble for Daniel and Heather on ‘The Young and the Restless’
Yeah. Probably the disadvantage of not having/reading SOD or having no Instas, I had no idea CK was preggers. And apparently, I forgot she divorced. Kudos to Y&R for hiding any signs of a pregnancy before she went on leave though. I didn't even notice. That said...since I have been enjoying the Lily/Daniel/Heather triangle before she left and before it vanished on-screen, looking forward to it.

Yeah, I would have been down for that. I feel they could have done that even with such a low budget, but alas...anything to keep Giggly Heffa relevant.

See? That was something else I liked about this week. All of the history mentions not connected to Wagger (is that what we are calling NuJagger? cuz I don't mind because I don't feel like calling him Jagger...lol)...which I have liked, too...because it does feel like it's been a while that outside of a special episode...we as viewers don't get a lot of history nods. Warmed my heart to hear that Sly reference, Nathan who I did like during the time I was viewing, and of course Mac. And yes, I agree about Lulu which makes me excited because Rocco just finally popping up and aged AND talking to Laura...things that make you go hmmm with a new writing team in house. I thought the dialogue and actions of showing the differences between Danny and Rocco was indeed very well done. I am hoping since the writers went out of their way to do that, they do have plans for this new generation and there will indeed be some fleshing out.

3-5 Well, you can't say that was off-camera. lol. Seth, we hardly knew ya. Meanwhile, Jordan continues to be camp. So far...I'm enjoying this week. Good to see Amanda again. And I was excited to see Devon and Nate play that tension that I love between the two of them. Since I love me some Nina, you know I've loved those Nina/Chance. I still miss Chance as a cop. And I definitely don't want to see him corrupted by business like Nate was. That said...I found those Nina/Chance scenes so hard to follow because...I'm sorry...CF has such beautiful eyes and I like scruff so I just be sitting here and admiring him how beautiful he was. lol. I also love that the writers heard me when I said we did this whole Chance storyline when Nate ALSO tried to start a music festival. lol. I so giggled when Devon said that in dialogue. At this point with this Chris/Danny/Phyllis story, it just feels like Danny is trying to have his cake and eat it, too. If he wants to be with the Giggly Heffa, he should go ahead and do it. I get it. He doesn't want to ruin anything with Chris when they are so close again, but that does not seem to be where his head is. And where is Ashley? lol. Okay, I already know the answer to that. lol.

Speak on it! PS. Will let you know when she pops up again. But perhaps that's the thing. Soaps have definitely proven they can go on and on. And the world completely still loves them all over. What if the production actually put promotions into it though? Ratings might still decline due to how we as people view shows now (streaming, tv systems, live), but if it is good...people will come and be grabbed hold.

3-8 Well...that. lol. In any case, I find myself leaning toward liking Jason's return so far. And I knew I was surprisingly invested when Carly first laid eyes on him. And my reaction was to gasp. I wasn't expected it yet. lol. But it's just the fact that almost every day has been a cliffhanger this week so far. It's making me think of Diane's return on Y&R in which you could feel and see the ripple effects of them coming back because she can still touch on EVERYONE. Same with Jason. And I almost teared up right along with Carly cuz I forgot...Jason wasn't there when Bobbie passed. Just such a bittersweet scene. I hated Anna interrupting. I think my favorite scenes so far have been the Carly/Jason ones and also Ava revealing the truth to Sonny. Speaking of Ava/Sonny, I was wondering if they were going to go there. Over the last few years, they really have been great co-parents. And then with her in the penthouse...I admit I was hmmmm. But I shook it off. But wow. All I can say is...I'm not against it, and I don't mind. I found it weird when I came back to regularly watching that Ava and Nina were friends. Moreso cuz Nina was played by MS when I left. That will be messy. I'm not even their biggest fans and even I went 'awwww' to Spin and Maxie kissing. Them against John was a riot to me. And they do seem to be coming into their relationship from a more mature place. In case I didn't mention it...outside of Bebe's Maxie's kids...I have been really enjoying seeing the next generation of PC kids. I know it has been talked about often here about how there are soo many kids running around and we rarely see them. Then they pop up, and it's like 'who's kid is that?' But over the last year, they have been popping up regularly and even had little arcs as well. So that said...I do have to ask...is this the first time they have had an aged Rocco though? I liked his scene with Laura. I also liked how they contrast his personality vs Danny's personality. And I'm always here for Jake cuz duh. lol. Could it be happening? Is Alexis about to go back to being a lawyer? Just watched. Same.

It WAS random. lol. But I grew to look Martin...especially when he got with Lucy. And his relationship with Laura has been good as well. Cyrus...love the actor, NOT the character. And ever since his first comeuppance, the writers don't see to know what to do with him. Scratch that...the strike writers seem to know what to do with him. Those were good episodes re: Spencer/Esme. Though I would say watch all of last week from 2/26 because those were pretty good character development scenes, nice setup that did flow and have a sense of going somewhere in terms of plot. Of course, it is also setting up Jason's return. And who doesn't like Ms. Wu?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
My bad. I blame it on working late and then staying up for rugby, but by timeslot, I meant the time of year when RHOA used to come out in November/December...not Sunday Sunday. It would be nice, but I wouldn't trust Bravo to promote properly either. I haven't watched yet either, but it sounds like RHOM did a reunion first. Speaking of laying foundation . If so...I'm going to be soooo excited once I watch.
