3-15 Hmmmm with the reveal that the prison in Victor isn't going anywhere and he's on the warpath...I wonder if the show will be doing for the 60th what they did with the 50th where they gave a little everything (humor, action-adventure, romance, drama) with Victor being the action-adventure part a la Luke, Laura, Starvos? Yeeeah I wasn't feeling that Cameron announcing his leaving. I know the writers were trying to show Cameron conflicted over Joss, but yeeeah not feeling that. He should still be back at her for Dex and show it more honestly. I was feeling Spencer in those pants though. Mmmm. lol. I continue to like this Amnesiac Esme storyline in how she continues to ask all these good questions making her situation all the more complicated. And with all that history? Yeah, anyone would have questions. And it keeps Laura/Kevin in the mix. KRISTINA!!!! The real Heir Apparent to Sonny's empire. But she doesn't live with Sonny in the penthouse right now, right? So that's Sonny, Dex, Spencer...Nina in that penthouse? That said...so if Cameron is leaving, I guess Spencer is going to be the spoiler in Dex/Joss storyline now, huh? Hmmmmm that WOULD be interesting. One thing that I've noticed with these writers has been that they do...whether it's clusmy, jarringly unexpected, or well...has been how they have touched on black people issues that I really do not see on the soaps barely anymore. In actual dialogue. But you are probably right, and it's going to turn into a plotpoint.

See? Already at a page after the tag. Showing the power of BRENDA. But going into what I'm saying...FV is very good...even at ego aside...at what works for an anniversary. So I do expect Brenda or at least Luke to show up. But it being kept under wraps. I will eat crow if I'm wrong of course, I just feel one, the other, or both, is inevitable. And we all know I want her to ride off into the sunset if the show is cancelled so But that's the thing. Even with them gone, Brenda STILL has enough connections to make it work...and even make new connections...which again makes it work. We all can see her landing at Deception and it writes itself from Sasha to a silly feud with Maxie/Lucy or both to running afoul of Ms. Wu. And THAT is ONLY Deception. Off the top of my head. I know all of us can think of more storyline.

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3-10 I admit to being disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing Ms. Wu spin the web around Gladys and what the agenda would be. But it all felt like it's been happening off screen except for a stray scene here or there. And it seems like since Holly's latest return arc, she's been drugging Victor...or was that the one time? And THAT was the start of the shipment storyline? How anticlimactic. That said, I was happy to see Ms. Wu sashaying all through that episode though. LL played that to the hilt. And I know you all told me that Cody did know he was Mac's son, but surprisingly the show had not flashed back to the scene itself. So it was nice to see the paperwork on screen. Still disliking the rewrite, but I do love seeing more of Mac. And awww for him feeling sad for Kevin. Not enough Sprina for me, but I loved seeing them...as well as Ava/Trina scenes. And hahahahhahaha! There is no Nurse Balls without Lucy in her undies. So of course Lucy would react how she reacted. Same. Mmmmmm Brenda....

3-15 Not as good as the cliffhanger for B&B, but wow to seeing a scene between Victor and Devon that had some substance to them. I mean how often to they have scenes together...especially given their history when Devon was young. And H#LL YES TO Victor/Devon vs Jill/Lily!!! If I thought they would give it time...and we would get more Jill, I would totally be down for that. And I hollered at Abby having such an Naked Heiress moment by her coming down those stairs while Victor was there. Well, Adam shot himself in the foot with his gloating to Tucker. SMH. See? I don't mind THIS Phyllis. The schemer. She's playing everyone like a fiddle and it's giving tension that was needed. The fact she did most of it without MS's normal tics is a bonus. And happy to see Lauren somewhat involved. I'm hoping this is leading to the anniversary because it felt like there was finally some movement again.

3-8 Cameron's leaving??? Hold up now!!! And I know I've said this before, and I'll say it again...I sooo like that Liz has not upped and vanished since it appears the story with her parents dried up. First with all the Nik shenanigans. And that is still going on. Then her with Ava/Austin. Not to mention Scotty as her lawyer and the Orbecht slap. And now Victor is crossing her path. And while mostly the same story, I like that RH gets to mix it up with so many people. And now...this Cameron talk. I know, I know...I'm such a Liz fan. And I see the writers are continuing to bond Laura and Esme. As expected. Great use of history with Laura's own past, leaving Nik on Cassandine Island. It honestly makes me wonder if Esme will ever get her memory back...and even more...do I want her to? I am not liking that Portia/Curtis/Trina have gone back to the land of C level storytelling after a February where Portia was running the girls!!! Way to kill the momentum. And they revealed that Marshall might have been misdiagnosed? For what purpose? It was nice to see Sprina though and I will keep on swooning...though I admit NC is less attractive to me with the haircut. lol. I am happy that the Victor storyline is moving again. Well, the Victor vs Anna part of it. And Victor vs Laura a little bit. But I don't think it was a good idea to tell the Deputy Mayor so much. Victor will see right through her. Moreso now that it's been revealed she was sleeping with Victor, too. smh. And now we are seeing the writers connect Luke's death, Jennifer Smith/Ice Princess, and Cody/Britt/the Necklace together to what Victor's agenda is. Now if they tie Jake and the Peter brainwashing into this and this place Victor is looking for...it might be worth it.

OMG Yes. I know there is someone else who has done that lately as well, but the person's name is escaping me at the moment. I always felt AL had some potential when she first appeared as Summer. And it appeared she has slowly made Summer her own over time. And then it was as if the writers noticed that potential and just as slowly started to write for it. AL just seems to have a thing when she carefully, but purposely builds her energy up and then finds the right moment to just explode. And it's been great to watch IMHO. The first time she did it was when Summer finally called Phyllis out and she's been off and running over hills and valleys since. Which has been great. I've been waiting for the moment there would be a rift between Summer and Kyle because it was inevitable. But I'm happy that took time and allowed for AL to make the role her own. Because NOW I feel there are stakes due to how masterful she has control over her character. And yes, AL does great all the time...even with very little...but her best for me so far has been when Summer is on the warpath. Oh for sure it has been a long time coming. And I know I called it last summer...especially once she lost Jack when she marked her territory loud in the hotel lobby that day. So it was just a matter of time before Jack (who can never do without a woman) was back with Diane. And I liked that took time, too, but never did I imagine that Phyllis would so shatter as much as she has now. This (outside of her destroying Sharon's room and framing her indirectly stopping another Shick reunion) is probably the closest we have gotten to THE Phyllis...and by THE I mean the truly dangerous one that ran down Cricket and Paul...just in time for the anniversary, too...uh oh? And while I hate Giggly Heffa, Phyllis HAS become interesting now that even Daniel and Summer have avoided her. Okay, you said it so much better than I did. And I just realized who I was thinking of in my earlier post...AVERY POHL's Esme over on GH with her currently amnesiac vixen. And how she is handling her character with no memory is very much how you said above...a younger heroine with an edge. Though I love to hate her in her original form of psycho vixen. While you could tell she was faking being innocent when confronted by other characters originally...NOW she actually is innocent in her dealings, but still have hints of the edge she had when she had her memory...I like the dichotomy in her acting. THIS.
