Netflix: One Day at a Time
FINALLY finished Episodes 10-13. It was nice to see Eden Riegel again! I had no idea she guested in the finale. Made me miss AMC.

I think this has bomb all over it. And it may not ever even get picked up to series.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I haven't watched in ages now, but I've always felt like the show treats gays as an afterthought. Or as a joke/embarrassment like a bad british sitcom. But maybe that's just me. EE has been miserable for a very long time, it's hard to stay tuned. I try but then I tune right back out. Shame they're wasting and ruining Michelle.

LOL, why wouldn't they include him? I hope they do Steven justice but I won't hold my breath I'm assuming Vee meant Alexis

Claudia and Pamela Bellwood were always my favorite (of course aside from Joan). Adored her. Definitely underrated.

A lot of these shows, Riverdale for example, don't know what they want to be. They want the appeal of the source material that has a built in fanbase, but they want a teen show, but they want a mystery show ... I'm mixed on this Dynasty update/remake. I'm open to it. I like the added diversity.

Fuller House
I'm guessing Fernando's accent is extra thick for comedy purposes. Fernando and Max are the absolute highlights for me.

Same. Other than his involvement, I enjoyed today's episode. I loved how they went to a high school and brought out the reality that is happening out there in the world. It's sad the world is filled with so much hate which is driven by fear.

Steve and DJ are 100% end game, IMO. I grew to really like Matt and DJ together so either couple works for me, but it's clear Steve and DJ are endgame. The hardcore fans don't seem to love Franklin's toying but to lose Matt to pair DJ and Steve doesn't make sense right now.

Because I think they're right and you do too, he's going against that in order to gain attention. It's what he does. Always. He's not even good at it anymore.

Fuller House
It started off that way. But the last two seasons were heavily Disney influenced. JMO. I noticed a sharp difference.

Kimmy and Stephanie are the best parts. I've always preferred Stephanie, from the original (though she was slightly Max-ish and a bit annoying at times in the original) but I love me some Kimmy in this one. Go figure. Andrea Barber is just so good you can't help it. Kimmy and Fernando completely steal the show, especially in season 2. They're just so good. I didn't mind Ramona in the first season but she's more likeable in the second. Jackson was too try hard and most of his stories centered around impressing Lola. Max is by far the better and more interesting child. DJ isn't too bad but I don't always recognize her. Sometimes with Steve. But she's by far the most boring. I think it's more Candace than DJ, without the religious spouting. Fans loved seeing Gia. It was too brief but I'm glad they brought her back. She was asked about a lot when the first season came out. I think the dude playing Jimmy Gibbler is hot as can be but I wasn't sure about Jimmy and Stephanie. They grew on me but it seemed awfully fast. I don't see why they felt the need to push Stephanie with someone. I like that she can't have a child. It adds a nice, realistic layer to her. Season 2 was much better than Season 1. Season 1 was a little too full of the inside jokes and the nods to the past, which many eat up, but Season 2 was better in that regard and really started to find it's groove. Lots of episodes I feel like were quite good in Season 2. But at the end of the day, it's a show for the fans of the original, and it's full of nods to the past. It is what it is. You either love it or you don't. I don't really get the critics hate for it. I think critics are overrated anyway but it's like they just hate on it because it's the cool thing to do. Yeah, like I've said, Season 2 is much better. It relies less on the catchphrases and nods to the past while still including everyone from the former show. Quite a few episodes, to me, were really good in Season 2, while Season 1 I don't really think many of them were standouts.

Of course not. And many don't want to see that Jedediah isn't often offering HER stance, she's offering a different perspective, or reading something from said different perspective. Whoopi gets heated at the topic, not Jed. It's ridiculous how they try and stir up conflict between the co-hosts. It also frustrates me how Joy and Whoopi are viewed as "loudmouths" when they offer up the perspective that everyone NEEDS to be listening to. It's sad how in denial the 'other side' is about their president-elect. Let's not forget the president elect is another rich celebrity, the same ones that his supporters seem to like to call scumbags and knock. No wonder I stay out of the politics thread .... anywho ... Meanwhile, I'm hopeful I can be at one of the tapings they're doing at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Since I do live in FL and enjoy my Disney parks ... hopefully I can score a ticket.

Agreed about the older son. The younger one is hilarious. He's even funnier in season 2. Season 2 is better it feels more settled.

Fuller House
Really? I think she's one of the brighter spots! LOL go figure. You have to understand though, the show is totally geared towards the fans. The first episode was fairly painful though. Lots of nods and everyone seemed a bit rusty. I think it gets better and gels better but it's all just one big nod to the original. I think the original is much cheesier and I find myself cringing trying to watch it now. But I really enjoy Fuller House - for what it is. And I think that's the point with Kimmy and Juan Pablo's character. It's so bizarre it's supposed to be funny, but they really make a great couple IMO.

Netflix: One Day at a Time
Aw. That's too bad. I think it's one of the best sitcoms in a very long time.

I just have to roll my eyes as TMZ tries to make the Jed/Whoopi thing more than it really is.

Netflix: One Day at a Time
LOL it is. I love it. And how everyone just listens at the curtain, or she can hear everything .... because, well it's a curtain. LOL Ah. I didn't think it was a laugh track. The crowds reaction to Rita couldn't have been. Yes it is (Todd Grinnell). They even have him in a towel in one episode. He makes himself very at home with the Alvarez family LOL

Netflix: One Day at a Time
Them giving her a curtain was brilliant. The crowd goes nuts when she debuts in the first episode ... And just because ...

Netflix: One Day at a Time
A lot of stars do unfortunately. I actually got a response from Garrett Clayton who seems super nice to his fans. I may have to add those two guys. Lol yeah. The screams alone tell me it's live. Netflix even did a video on if every show they air had Fuller House's live audience. Lol
