Side-note. Beyond Salem episodes are 43 minutes. Days is like 35. Could we get longer episodes but I guess not if so many episodes are already in the damn can.

Not the most interesting part but it gave Tripp and Joey something to do. So nice having Megan Hathaway back. Can't you just buy those damn prisms. I have like three. Nice mention of Larry Welch. Of course we will see Andrew Masset. Andrew shirtless so fast was nice! Nice throwback to the hottub electrocution, sort of. Liking Paul and Andrew. Nice to hear Paul mention flirting with Theresa and talking about how he was a closeted baseball player and Andrew all cute and supportive. (Of course no Shane this go-around ... missed opportunity!) Burton does have some personality, kinda, so it would be nice to see more emotion but it was Ron so of course it'd be Jason-lite Nice seeing Loretta Devine though. I'll never bitch about seeing Peter Reckell and Bo but I get ya'll had thoughts on heaven lol. It's very ... blue. May watch Episodes 3-5 later. Chapter 2 is still more interesting than the main show.

Not shocked. I could eventually see DAYS being August/September-May straight through and then a break with a Beyond Salem tie-in for the summer. Culliton works for me Yep, several dead weight characters. Time for a bit of a shake-up

About time the former two were recast. BO! I cried. Sigh. I'm so excited for her. I hate I spoiled myself and knew she'd be in it. Jesus I don't mind the "you look different" but yeah DAYS overdoes it. Andrew showed up now in Episode 1. FINALLY ANDREW DONOVAN! And with Paul too ... yay Yesss .... WELCOME BACK FROM THE DEAD MEGAN HATHAWAY! I got chills. The actress has wanted to come back for like forever. - EPISODE 2 Yasss. Queen Kristen and Eileen Davidson! And LOL with her Real Life Man, right?

Exactly! The television landscape IS changing. It has changed. You can see it but there seems to be this disconnect somewhere that they can't be "stars" again just because they were 'on a soap'. Nostalgia IS in. I see the reaction online seeing reboots. Soaps have a massive audience that was somehow diminished. But actual numbers and 'buzz' seem, to me, to prove otherwise.

An online reboot heavily promoted could work. The audience is there.

At least it's an umbrella plot involving most of the cast. The context is flimsy and rushed but isn't that what makes the show "Days". An umbrella plot involving the cast and having fun along the ride. Some of them are being left behind though in the writing. Yikes ... It WOULD ultimately work better as a whole on Peacock though. Absolutely.
