I agree. I generally find Casey Moss dull and bland, but I thought he did good work today.

I am pretty sure there was never a need to make a "nod" to Amy Vining. She was a unique character on her own. Making newAmy a "play" on the original is just lazy and useless. She's never gotten her own personality or story and is only trotted out during the time the Nurse's Ball is coming around. I actually think the actress is charming, but it is a very thankless role.

I feel the exact same way. Sami wasn't ever my favorite either although I usually liked her. AS/Sami leave a hole in the canvas when she's gone. On another note, Sami mentioned her job was in Italy to Rafe. What exactly does Sami do for a living lol? Seriously, I can't remember a legit career she ever had. Do they just google these images? That is not at all how I picture Salem in my mind lol.

I don't really understand why Alexis couldn't present this evidence to Kristina and talk it through with her. Just to at least understand her mental stability and let her give Kristina a chance to explain. Even though it's obvious Kristina is wrong and is unstable. There is no reason for Alexis to coddle a 35 year woman even if it's her daughter. I actually don't mind Ava getting money. It was hers. A little baby doesn't need the entire Cassadine estate.

I think both Austin and John were severely dumbed down to try to make it work, although I am not sure how smart Austin was to begin with lol. I think Drake/John sold the dimness better because you could see where he was coming from. He thought he ruined Marlena's family and was trying to move on from her, he and Marlena had a great friendship that he didn't want to ruin, generally thought the best about people, and was probably lying to himself as much as Kristen was lying to him. And while John/Marlena/Kristen/Stefano hit the right amount of pacing (a lot due to Marlena being kidnapped to drag it out), I think Austin/Sami/Carrie lasted too long. Austin's belief that Sami wasn't lying THIS time and that he had to do everything because Will was his son was just weirdly outdated. By the time Sami was exposed a lot of the audience had moved on the Carrie/Mike. I can easily see how it failed on Passions when he was already teetering on the edge on Days near the end of his run. He wasn't going to have the audience backing he had on Days with legacy characters.

Steve left around Sept of 2012 so it was fairly early in the Valentini run. FV did recast him with Billy Miller so they may not have vibed. It was clear to me Steve was following Jill out the door. I do think his return in 2017? as Patient 6 was pretty good. Most of the rest of his material after was a Sam/Jason/Drew back and forth. And, you know, the usual mob stuff.

Take it from me the Caroline/Carolyn thing is real and someone says it to me probably once a week maybe more. I will quickly repeat my name out of habit and I will still be called Carolyn. I just don't know why through all the years someone didn't quietly tell both actors to right the pronunciation and move on like they always said it correctly. Oh, I loved the promos and the story. I laughed because they were all vaguely the same like this time Kristen would get caught. This one you just posted was at least near the end lol.

That is a great point and theory that I didn't really think about. It does seem like the writing team isn't thrilled and obviously I don't blame his costars for not being entirely on board. Obviously that didn't work out for KeMo and I can imagine being irritated Steve just got away with risking everyone's health and only had to take another job on a soap to "wait it out"

I swear in 1996 and 1997 80% of Days commercials were the same variation of these John/Marlena/Kristen promos. "Will this be the week Kristen is exposed?" It was never the week lol. I actually completely forgot Franco was a spoiler for Bo/Hope. JER really gave Bo/Hope some bad material.

I think they are still close. Spinelli just really isn't that entrenched in the mob scene anymore. He mostly appears with Maxie. I am sure that's down to Bradford's availability or whatever deal he has with the show. The larger picture about Jason is that he's been mostly isolated from his previous relationships. Carly is his only friend at this point. He doesn't even seem that close to Sonny. The show killed off Sam, he never talks to Liz, Michael isn't around, one of his kids was shipped off and the other rarely appears, and of course Monica is gone. Even some of his lesser friendships with Lucky, Lois, Maxie, Dante, etc have been ignored. Suddenly we are down to Anna and Sasha being his potential love interests. I don't know. This Burton return has been so strange lol. It's like Jason isn't really doing anything at all but appears consistently to have the same conversations over and over again.

I have always assumed Spinelli was neurodivergent. The show just made it seem like it was "quirky" and "funny" instead of addressing the issue.

Spinelli is a character that works in small doses. I don't know why Guza thought Spinelli was so funny and cool. Bradford doesn't play Spinelli as hyper and childlike anymore either. It's like the character of Spinelli just grew up and matured lol. That never happens on GH!

Lol. I know you are joking, but if there was any character I wanted to leave and never return in 2010 it was Spinelli. Now, I actually like him a lot. He is one of the few characters in a decade and a half that has positive character growth.

THIS. You could definitely bring on a new character and it could work. Jax just has a long history of loving (the idea at least) Lois. It would be a full circle thing. I love Brenda/Jax probably more than anyone on this board, but that well is dry. I think Lois/Jax would make a good couple. Plus, you could easily put him in Nina or Carly's orbits as well. GH introduces so many new characters it would be nice to have a Jax recast instead.

It was a lot of worrying over nothing? Drew doesn't currently seem to have an ulterior motive for helping Kai out. It's just shoulder surgery lol. If Kai, a grown adult, is fine with just butt out. I suspect Sofia Mattsson is pregnant in real life. She hasn't confirmed that or anything so I'll just leave it at that because it's not my business. It could also just be an odd stylistic choice since GH doesn't know how to dress anyone. It's like when Sam and Jason used to wear matching black leather jackets. I think Jason and Sasha make an okay couple. It's just a retread of previous Jason romances. I think Steve/Jason works best with fiery women like Carly, Brenda, or even Britt. He's a good straight man to their antics. And, no, that's not a Jarly endorsement lol. Sasha just feels too bland for him.

Yes, exactly. It's not like I exactly miss Jax or wonder how he would react to certain situations. It's more of why Jagger, Natalia, Sidwell, etc and not Jax? His daughter is front burner and he has a long rivalry with Sonny that is based on history not just blowing up Sonny's penthouse on a whim lol. I am sure Ingo's various lawsuits are in play here. I just don't understand why we are pretending Carly/Brennan are a thing when Jax would solve that piece of the canvas easily.

TBH, I thought Carly "won" the argument and Willow looked stupid. I don't think I can ignore basically everything Carly has done since 1996, but Willow just seemed to be idiotic yesterday. I mean, good for her to stand up to Carly. That's more screeching than any human should have to take from Laura Wright lol

I like Jax. If you take Ingo out of the equation, I think there is a lot Jax can do still. He's a much better Sonny rival than whatever villain of the year GH pulls out. Carly, Lois, Nina are all potential love interests. He can throw Joss into the ocean for all I care about her lol. I still wish Brenda's son was Jax's because that would be so much better than Joss or random Balkan grandson.

I think Jax could be useful on the canvas. Someone, anyone needs to be a Lois love interest. I can't imagine Goddard as Jax or paired with Carly though. I feel like Laura Wright would eat DG alive lol.

I feel like I have a vague memory of this, but did Willow actually adopt Wiley? I know she's the only mom he's ever known and blah blah... I just can't remember if she legally adopted him.
