I liked today's episode. Sonny being in it was fine, but I would have liked it more if Jason was the silent benefactor for Monica's wing. Or even Lesley, but I doubt she has that cash flow. I wish instead of talking about Robin's speech, Stone's performance at the Nurse's Ball, Maxie's hospital stay, etc they used actual flashbacks. I know the budget is tight, but you probably could have cut the nurses gushing about Deception products out and done some flashbacks instead. Although this is the one time a year Amy and Deanna? get airtime.

You are correct. KL's did call Marlena mom eventually, but it wasn't consistent. After that episode he'd still call her Marlena mostly.

I agree Brady should call Marlena "mom" and used to as a child. It changed when they SORAS'ed him with Kyle Lowder.

Some of the dialogue they give Kristen is so odd like when she was talking about all the stories she heard about John and how invincible he is/was. As if we are supposed to forget she was with John for years and lived through half of his most epic heroism. She acts like she hardly knows John. Christopher Sean and Paul are the best. The show should do anything to keep him long term. Andrew did look a little silly today, but whatever. He didn't check the 75-year-old women's zip tie handcuffs lol? Jada/Rafe's fight was kind of strange. Rafe's reaction seemed way out of proportion for the situation. Brady is a wimp but he called Marlena "mom" today. 😍 I am sure it's just EM forgetting who Brady's related to like usual, but I'll take it. Everyone was lit so blue today. It was distracting.

With JM/Stefano gone, Orpheus is probably the second best choice. It's a shame they used Orpheus over and over because until his return(s) I actually found him to be the scarier than Stefano-mostly due the ridiculous of Stefano's stories. Once JM passed away the show decided to put some of the campier aspects on to Orpheus, while his revenge and agenda plot was quite clear in the 80's. Given Drake's health and the time the show had to do this with who was available I think they are doing okay.

I think killing John off with cancer would be tacky for obvious reasons. Plus, Drake wasn't actually there actually play out the final story. Killing him off in a car accident (again) would be anti-climatic. Despite the overuse of Orpheus I think John will go out dying but saving the world-and that's very a fitting end for our hero. I haven't really looked at spoilers. I just think even if John died today that he had figured out Orpheus's plan and will help Steve, Marlena, Paul, Andrew, etc stop Orpheus once and for all. I personally would rather John got out as a larger-than-life hero than with an illness or random accident.

Lol! I really hope Kate doesn't base her opinions on her kids on looks. BD never changed, but the rest have varied through the years. Except Cassie I suppose. She hardly counts though.

Oh, I guess if anyone is taking John out it should be Orpheus. Since Stefano is gone. Any episode with Paul is an A+ for me because I just adore him. He is everything Brady isn't and can carry John's legacy even if his mom is random. Phillip talking about Kate's favorite kids like he was reading this board last week.😂 Kate did say she called AUSTIN first...just saying....

When Lucky confronted her about her affair with Nik "Rutting like farm animals" lives rent free in my head. They might not be the most stable couple but they do still actually have chemistry and Liz loves a toxic guy. I would also not call you crazy for objecting to the things Lucky said because they were gross.

I meant KRAZE, my apologies lol. Jason, Carly and Sonny have no decent love interests right now and it's odd for all of them to be at this point at the same time. Obviously anyone with half a brain cell knows Jason/Carly, Jason/Sasha, Carly/Brennan, or Sonny/Natalia are viable. It's been a long time since I have seen the 3 "leads" with very B stories even if they get a lot of airtime.

No one does here. I guess just some people like more "obscure" pairings as if the only other option is Jason/Carly, but not Lucky and Liz. I guess Blaze has left the building and Donna only cares about Jason/Carly now..

Joss's scenes at the WSB were more exciting yesterday. I haven't watched today's show and will probably not get the rest in this week, but I was just going to assume Sarah Joy Brown took over the role and the pairing was fairly viable.😂

There's been an uptick of Jarly fans on this thread? I must have missed it. They have the same conversation every single day about Brennan. It's truly riveting stuff.

Well, it certainly "highlights" how Jason/Carly can have a variation of the same damn conversation over the years.

I do think there is a possibility Kristina could fall for Lucky and it's not reciprocated on his part. He was just being a good friend and Kristina has a long history of misreading romantic intentions. It then causes Kristina to spiral further and either have a breakdown or get some real help.

That's actually a really good idea. I don't know if that would 'age' Rafe too much, but there could have been an interesting dynamic finding out he has a grown son that is gay and now thinks he's in love with Leo. Javi could be resentful Rafe was never in his life and some of his selfishness and obnoxious with Leo could be because he's trying to test or annoy Rafe. I always enjoyed Rafe with Allie as well.

Rafe is probably one of the few characters that should have had a child years ago or had a long lost child show up. Rafe has been on a loop of failed love interests and cop/adventure stories and he's far too old for that now. Since the show seems to have no plans to write Rafe off, I would at least use Rafe in a capacity that works for him. That's a pretty spot on assessment that I would agree with, so Lucas is #1 on my list now. I still think the show missed the mark by not making Lucas a main player in this story. It really has nothing to do with Phillip in the end.

SSH seems to better with younger, lower key actors like Billy Flynn, Casey Moss, and the guy that plays Doug 3. I thought she did well when she was talking to Marlena about her grief too. Which is a bit of a shock since both DH and SSH are known to make some, um, OTT choices.

Lindsay Morgan's Kristina felt like an entirely different Kristina. I don't think GH ever mentions her marriage to Trey and his death. That whole Joe Scully/Kate/Connie era was a rough watch, so I don't think it's entirely LM's fault. Mansi lines up more with Ainsworth to me although I think Lexi is warmer and more sympathetic as an actress. Sasha was fine when she was first introduced. I don't even mind her now. She's never felt like anything more than a fringe character to me and never should have lasted this long though. Both she and MacMullen share so many similar characteristics. Neither actress really stands out in a good or bad way. Willow could get an upgrade if she was faking cancer and evil this whole time. Considering the whole Jake paternity debacle as well no one should believe anything Jason says about children's conceptions.

SM isn't even Kelly Monaco lol! A third retread is really excessive and you'd really think a few people in town would at least question the validity of Jason's claims considering he has a done this multiple times before. I am not surprised Burton is still employed. I am astounded SM has kept her job for so many years though. She's been on canvas since 2018!

Haha. There isn't a lot of drama in two consenting single adults having a baby. I just expected Carly to care more or Drew to be suspicious or something. Jason doesn't even care or share many scenes with Sasha so I don't get it. It's pointless.

I was one of the few people who was slightly interested in the idea of Sasha/Jason. Sure we have seen the story before and the age difference was always going to be weird, but Jason wasn't do much anyway so why not? Unfortunately, SM and Burton have very little chemistry and outside of Cody freaking out and Tracy sharing rightful concerns no one on the show cares. Everyone shrugged and move on with their lives. I was expecting at least a freak out from Carly or Sonny. Or Drew and Willow being more interested and snooping around trying to figure out the truth. Instead the whole reveal just happened and that's it lol.

You are correct. The show was just already planting the seeds that Molly/TJ were some sort of unstable coupling when Kristina started this idiotic custody journey. And really going in on TJ not trusting Kristina to be a surrogate which was the right fear. We will probably never hear from TJ again though so it is what it is.
