Mo has absolutely thrown out her name. They seem like fun besties these days after years of me thinking they barely tolerated one another. I am not sure Vanessa has made herself available though. She prefers to talk crap about BAG rather than work. I kid, I kid, Vanessa. I still love you. I would think actual jail and numerous lawsuits would put Haley in her place, but Frank probably decided to make it sting more just so she feels so grateful when she's rehired.

You are probably correct. Vanessa was Guza's shiny toy, not Frank's. I still think Frank is searching for something for Mo in a pairing that might hit. Honestly, I think Mo is hoping for something that will hit and I don't know why he isn't outside Vanessa's door begging her to come back lol. I wouldn't even want Frank's regime to touch Vanessa. Like you said they avoid the B-word like the plague and don't care about the character at all. I am sure you could imagine me curled up in ball crying when they fire Vanessa after 3 weeks. As far as Haley-hire her back or don't. Who cares? I am not positive Frank was even directly mocking her. It just felt rude and uncalled for because she can deal with her own [!@#$%^&*]. It's hard to make me stand up for a literal criminal lol.

I have no evidence Frank cares at all, but I still think the show wants to find Sonny a new Brenda and hires any decent actress that might fit the bill. It doesn't work out, the show pivots and it just leaves characters in the dust because the intent doesn't ever match the writing. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Frank re-hired Pullos, especially if Haley decides to speak out or becomes more prominent again and discuss her issues. I have no idea what Frank thinks-I just found the DUI stuff tasteless and pointed towards HP a million years later.

It's all small stakes and not a big deal to talk about on a Saturday. I just thought the whole narrative was mean and petty. The show has a decent Molly now so leave it all alone.

Sure, I am glad it's Haley Pullos self-referential humor. It's not funny at all. Poor taste for sure. Haley can do whatever with her life, but the girl spent at least a decade on GH so I don't think we should be laughing at her problems Whatever Frank and writing team. There are a lot of child actors that burn out, have issues, or have problems with substances. I guess we just openly mock them to get a C grade character out of town.

Oh, same as a viewer. But from what I can tell Haley's not asking to rejoin GH or anything. It just feels petty and insensitive to make it a GH plot or joke. The lol don't touch my dress or jacket because it's expensive isn't funny at all. It took you two years to come up with that writing. Seriously. I am sure it was a dig, but build a bridge, dude. It was a problem for about six months, but the show also didn't care about Molly at all until Haley was arrested. So whatever. Old Lady Molly was a time though.

I didn't realize he was long distance. That makes more sense and I know he has children. I still think you can put Maxie and Georgie at the forefront and know Spinelli is around-just off screen.

So this will be a hot take and I am not condoning criminal activity or drunk driving, but bringing up Haley 2 years later just seems lame and almost cruel. The girl hasn't been on GH for years, most of us can barely remember the last time she was on, and that alone just feels vindictive. Haley is what 25? It looks like she went to rehab, got sentenced for her crime, and is moving on with her life. Frank is a 62 year old man. He shouldn't be haha mocking a crime or a woman that has acknowledged she had a problem. I don't think Frank would make jokes about Tyler Christopher.

A penny shouldn't even be spent on I really don't know why Frank lost interest. You give the woman an ex-husband and another gay child and just drop her? So strange.....There were seeds to repair some damage on the character. I don't believe I would have bought it, but the show could have tried I guess. I am not mourning the character or anything it's just frustrating when plots, characters, storylines, etc just fade away. Don't worry. I am sure Valentin will be back soon of course.

I 100% think Natalia is a difficult customer at Nordstrom's. She probably wears dresses and tries to return them!! I tend to zone out on Natalia in general, but she never seemed to drink in excess. How did she get the first DUI? Unknown. The character was DOA from the start. I feel like now we are just kicking her when she's down. And I do think someone like Eva deserves a little better. But Frank just completely lost the plot with this lady. I mean, I thought she would at least sleep with Sonny a few times to complete the arc lol.

Sure, I can believe that. I guess I don't know what Bradford is doing that would make it difficult to work on GH. He does a podcast and has a band with other GH members lol. Bradford seems to enjoy being on GH and this isn't directed specifically at him, but I don't know how people pay their bills when they are casually turning down jobs lol.

I really have no problem with ditching Natalia ASAP, but it's almost like the show is mad at ELR for her character flopping. People get away with MURDER in Port Charles and Natalia's lawyer son can't strike a plea deal on a DUI? If we didn't already hate Natalia let's just make her a careless alcoholic too on the way out of town.

Vanessa returned so I was high key on alert in watching Brook Lynn was trying to steal a pretzel from a random vendor and Carly offered her money to seduce Dante. I do like a toasted pretzel, but this girl was an heiress out of money? She stated Dante doesn't like her like that and it's going to be a difficult task. I don't think she even got the money because she literally drugged Dante and Lulu bitched slapped her.

But she was very clear she never hooked up with Dante and they were just friends and never anything more. And here we are lol So I guess will just call that entire narrative a loss

It's like the show had no idea what to with her so I assumed it correlated. She was being paid by Nik to be his date for functions so the story clearly ran out lol.

I think the show just wrote her out in 2011? She lingered on with Nik for awhile, but I think Tyler's real life problems might have derailed the story? Her and Liz would spar sometimes. She was at Sonny and Brenda's wedding if that gives you a vague timeline, but I remember her being around a bit longer.

I always liked Leon. Not sure why GH or Y&R hated her.

Didn't Y&R say she was fat basically? Because Adrianne Leon is totally someone I thought was fat😂 Was she a small instead of an extra small?

I thought I read Leon was interested in coming back, but it's been years lol. She should sue GH for her entire 2010-11 run.

Leon or Lane could easily take over until the show decides something permanently. I don't think either is actually better than Setton as far as acting, but I think they both would be excited to take the role back. It could give BLQ more energy and vitality. Anyhow, after Gio accepts Brook and Dante as his parents in a month I would rest, break, give a long honeymoon to Chase/BLQ and decide where the characters are going. Nothing dramatic or crazy. Just a breather to figure out what they are doing next and if it's recasting that's fine.

I don't even think romance or sex scenes are even the main issue here. JS/AS/Brook/Chase aren't some sort of fire match and need to make out all the time. It's multiple things piling up for me. She doesn't dress the part, she doesn't like love scenes, she plays BLQ the way she wants to. It's more the sum of the equation than the individual parts. Amanda is lucky she's a good actress, has a decent fanbase and is a friend of Frank's. I personally would give Brook a break and re-evaluate in 6 or 9 months to see if Amanda is more willing to up her game and recast if not.

I think it makes me more salty because I was excited about her casting too. I still think she's a good actress and a beautiful woman, but I don't think she gets Brook Lynn anymore. It's not Amanda Setton playing herself as a 40 year old 1990's housewife. It's Brook Lynn Quartermaine!!

So I probably just needed to log out and log in on my tv or something? I've also had Peacock even before Days moved to streaming, so my app could just need a refresh or re-download.

Exactly. Soaps are tame. I assume Amanda's perspective changed after becoming a wife and mother and was more thoughtful about what she was doing in her career. But no one's forcing you to be paid for this job. If it doesn't align with you any more please move on. Lots of actresses in LA would be willing to play Brook Lynn correctly.
