I feel like a lot of Karen's story was wrapped up quickly. But, again, she got a lot of story thrown at her and decided to leave. Brenda/Karen were instantly friends and she was supposed to be in her wedding...like what? Part of me thinks the Scott part was a re-write because I thought they were heavily hinting at Alan. I don't know. Everything was fairytale for Jagger/Karen it almost seemed like no one knew they were leaving and Claire had to just write them off as best she could.

I think Cari Shayne is okay, but things always happen to Karen. She's always the victim and does very little for herself. Brenda sets her up for cheating and she just cries about it instead of defending herself to the school board of Jason and Robin who, hilariously, vote against her. Brenda is the heavy here and wrong, but Karen does little or nothing to fight back. That probably is what Labine is talking about when she said her first week she had Karen throw the pills back at Sonny. Obviously, the fact she is an abuse victim frames things differently, but all she did was whine about things to Jagger and Jason instead of standing up for herself. @titan1978I struggle to think what would have been next for Jagger/Karen once you remove Brenda from the equation, but I do think it's very awkward they aren't around for the Stone story. I know they appear when Stone is diagnosed, but it's very strange they didn't come back for his death or funeral.

I have been watching early Brenda on youtube and it's actually stuff I don't have and haven't seen since it aired and Brenda is annoying, but so are Karen and Jagger. Brenda's the only direct person in the group. She wants Jagger and makes it known and Karen/Jagger are just so wishy washy about their feelings because? Jason? Like, you guys are 16. Jason will get over it. Brenda's foray into child porn with spreading Karen's pictures will never be a good look, but Karen is so mean and always slut-shaming Brenda. I know Karen's got a lot going on and the victim and all, but I never liked her lol. And of course Jagger says he doesn't want Brenda, but clearly is still into both girls, so I am actually not surprised he cheats on Karen later on. I do believe ASJ was asked to do PC and he declined or was on Melrose Place at the time. They did leave it a bit open ended for a while, so I think they were hoping to eventually get ASJ. Also around March 1993 Brenda and Jason kiss, which doesn't really lead anywhere. Robin is all up in that business and it seems like Brenda/Robin/Jason triangle was in the works with Brenda/Robin becoming rivals, but thankfully that doesn't pan out. It's weird to think how that would have changed so much of the show if that went in that direction. I think I am about 6 months behind you right now. @titan1978I believe both Cari Shayne and ASJ decided not to renew their contracts, so it wasn't a Labine decision.

Yeah, I am not trying to diagnose her issues or attack her or anything like that. Just an observation. I have followed KS since her Disney days. So while I don't think wardrobe is going out of their way to find stylish clothes for her, I do think there a lot more nuances to the situation than wardrobe can't find a size 14 dress for Kirsten. I also think wardrobe suggesting certain things or dissuading certain items is a slippery slope because these comments can be triggering and harmful if she is struggling with body image. I have said multiple times that Maxie needs a rest. KS needs a rest and we can revisit the character in a few years. Obviously throughout daytime the inclusivity for anything other than white, thin actors is lacking, but I am very hesitant to say GH/wardrobe are punishing KS for gaining weight. From what I can tell, GH has been far more gracious and supportive to her than most of their female leads.

I think it's clear KS has gained weight. That's a fact-she needed to gain some. She looked almost skeletal about 10 years ago. I obviously can't speak for her and have no knowledge of what's going on, but I think KS thinks covering up makes it less noticeable instead of just wearing clothing that is flattering to her completely normal figure. I think being an actress since she was young and an actress that was extremely thin most of her career affects her comfortability being in clothes and the choices she makes when deciding what to wear. But I am just a person on a soap board speculating so take that for what it is.

I have discussed Maxie/KS's wardrobe several times and I do think it's multiple issues, but I did like that dress she was wearing. She looked really nice in it and I hope she keeps going in that direction. I don't think it's all wardrobe but also on KS as well as far as her choices. Not her about her weight which is fine, but it seems she feels the need to wear baggy outfits or overly cover up.

I will say Willow's dress is really pretty. I can't stand anything about her or this wedding, but KM is really quite beautiful and I really liked everything about her look. Joss's dress, on the other hand, fit her so poorly. It like cut her bustline in half and was not flattering at all and Sam's dress was a strange choice for officiating. Maxie actually wore a nice and flattering dress as well. I don't understand why KS doesn't always dress like that. I honestly am just staring at the dresses today while catching up because this Carly story is so boring. That Greenland set is huge! I wish Days could borrow a tiny bit of GH's budget. I mean they probably would just blow it on even goofier green screens, but it's a nice dream. I need more of this storyline and much less of the Carly/Drew plot.

I thought it was just because he's playing a different character. I didn't know there were rumors they didn't get along. Idk, I have been on the rumor train the last few days and something about VK makes me think she's obnoxious and full of herself in real life. Again, I have no proof, but from interviews and stuff she seems annoying. VK probably spends her free time volunteering at homeless shelters and I am being catty though🤣 Although aren't you the one that said RSW is a jerk? I actually think that a lot of the things Ciara wears are cute, but ummm..she's got huge boobs and sometimes things made for tiny supermodels tend to look a provocative for girls with more curves. I actually think CB/Gabi dresses similarly, but she's not falling out of the clothes she's wearing and she's supposed to be a fashionista. Ciara is supposed to be more of a tomboy and also a happily married pregnant mother lol. VK has a very similar body to Nadia Bjorlin, so maybe she can take some cues from how she dresses because even in her 20's Chloe never looked slutty even when she was being slutty lol.

I actually agree. l have a lot of problems with Ciara, but I can't think of a time VK was bad at playing the part. VK is a beautiful girl, but her wardrobe is sometimes distracting. Her boobs are hanging out in peoples faces in scenes (and not just in Ben scenes lol). Although I thought her outfit was fine yesterday. I just wish someone in wardrobe would reign her in and let her know less is more sometimes. I still know she's got a rocking body even if her top isn't low cut and the dress isn't short and skin tight and she often has all three of those things going at once. I just don't think that style fits the character that Ciara is supposed to be. I don't really understand why VK is so in and out because she hasn't done anything else that I know of? I guess she just wants the option.

I feel like Days sound problems really do not benefit JT. It's very hard to understand what he is saying. You are so right, but it's been like this for a quarter of a century lol Stephanie and Chad are so bad. I wanted younger characters to be in this, but they should have just went home. I think Hope lied about napping and just changed to make the kids feel better. She did also take a shower and blow out her hair as well.🤣

Boobs is probably better than Beemer. She's not a bad actress. They needed to give us our 9 mins back from when they literally showed the entire 10 mins of the previous Monday episode on Tuesday as the opener.

With all the thought I have put into this I should start a Victoria Grace conspiracy page. She's trying to fool us all. She's 40! Honestly though as a former hiring manager people would put in weird birthdays to meet age requirements (18/21) and then show up with id's saying they were like 16 a lot. And I was always wondering how they thought that would work out?

Aren't they though? I don't think it was anything sinister. I just think maybe VG is older than the casting call for Wendy, she or her agent lied about her age, she got the job and no one cared, but then someone submitted her for the emmy in the "age" she said she was, and then she randomly got nominated and it got found out. It's not an uncommon thing to do in Hollywood, but multiple people just bungled the process along the way and I don't expect the actual actress to know the evolving daytime emmy rules for this category.

Yeah, I am not trying to be mean or create a scandal over this. I like VG/Wendy just fine, but you would think in a category that had age limits there would be a place to fill out your birthdate and it would have to match an ID at some point. I have no idea how the whole process works really, but pretty much everything you have to fill out in life asks for your birthdate lol.

I was getting the impression perhaps VG or her people were lying about her age? I have no idea, but it's difficult to find her age online and her IMDB (I know-it's the internet) has projects listed for her as far back as 2003. My apologies to Victoria if this was all a misunderstanding, but it does seem a bit suspect.

So from my understanding from the article Victoria was already 21 in 2021 and is at least 23 now? That's not an easy thing to get confused for the younger actor submission. She's at least several years too old.

@j swift I felt like once Andrew pulled that chip out of the plastic bag (Do they clean it? Is there brain matter on it?) I had to stop using my own brain and just let it go. Wouldn't the purpose of the chip be to erase memories or give Bo subtle suggestions to change his normal behavior? It wouldn't be a chip that just video records Bo's actions from his brain. It's Days so it's probably not even the silliest thing that has happen this week, but you can't even start to make it make sense.

I kind of liked that Kate's scenes harkened back to Lauren Koslow taking over the role originally on that fish boat, but it's Ron so it's probably just laziness. I am not even going to ask how a brain chip plays video of an actual event on a computer lol. It's weird the show doesn't ask RM back as Chelsea, but it's nice to know she's living her best life offscreen. I really don't have any complaints about today's show. I wasn't wowed by it, but it was decent.

Shawn isn't that much older than Belle in real time. Maybe 6 years and he was only aged up by a year or so which isn't that bad. Colin O'Donnell is only 2 years younger than Jason Cook which seems weird in my mind, but Shawn was the least offensive of the aging at that time. Something like Mike/Carrie is much more of a mind f*ck in regards to aging. The problem with Belle is that her conception was such a specific, big moment in the show that was relevant for years and aging her up was a huge fail. You can argue Brady/Phillip and even Shawn as their timelines can be more linear, but Sami's actions are brought up constantly and Belle is younger than Abby and almost the same age as Will. Paul was conceived at a similar time as Belle and now we are stuck in flux where Belle, Brady, Eric and Sami are all the same age and it's hard to get over. If the show even chilled out with Belle's timeline and made her 20 something for a long time it would be fine, but, nope, immediately married multiple times with a child by 21.

Those babies are adorable lol I just think it's rough for Ava to lose another child. All her children. I think the little girl that plays Donna is adorable too, but we can literally just stop talking about her for years and I am fine with it. You just brought Belle into the chat and I have long ass posts on why aging her was one of the worst Days decisions ever made. And that's a high bar to clear. It's a really jarring thing when they talk about Sami kidnapping her when she was newborn, which the show stills brings up, and Sami appears to be the same age as her. They ran Belle through a lifetime of stories in about 5 years and now we wonder why she is practically useless when she should be leading the show. I actually did just get depressed when you said Jake is actually 16. Where has my life gone lol?

Michael must assume she's going to die because of his history so no big deal on his part. Donna is Sonny/Carly's Sam once bought a prostitute for Michael (Abby) so that counts. They are close lol. I don't recall her being close with Willow, but........I immediately forget everything Willow and Sam do so there's that.

I often wonder how people think Michael is brave. Because he didn't leave the terminally ill mother of his child? What has Michael done really? Be a normal, decent human? It's not amazing or brave to have a wedding completely done for you and go through with it. It's brave for Willow to fake cancer and screw with everyone, but it's not brave for Michael to stay with her. ETA-I should say in a real life situation being a partner of someone with cancer is brave, but Michael on GH hasn't done a whole lot of anything.
