How long is GV out? The replacement is decent and cute. It was funny they were using Vaughn in flashbacks today though. Why the hell is Xander proposing to Chloe? They hardly know one another and haven't said I love you or anything. Super random. I am glad Xander thinks good parenting is talking to your son on the phone occasionally as well. Nicole has some awful hair, but I would honestly say LG's Sarah has the most unflattering haircut in all of tv. It consistently looks horrible.

The Hulu uploads of GH have never been consistent. They are late all the time and I do remember some of the episodes around the Nurse's Ball not appearing until the next day. This is the latest it has ever been, but I have never been able to set my clock by them being up by 8PM ET. Obviously the reps were confused, but it really would make no sense for Hulu just to stop showing GH on a Friday after showing the entire week lol. Idk, with Hulu it seems like they put the episodes up when they get them and they always show up eventually.

GH does not have a different casting policy-see all the OLTLers and Carlys lol. I remember thinking MM did a pretty good job with Liz. Again, she's capable just not my personal fave. I wouldn't rule her out. She's just not at the top of my list to employ.

The GH episode is still not up on Hulu as of now. Weird. I guess I will always wonder what happened on Friday Aug 4th lol.

Agreed. I think MM could work if the character was tailored to her strengths. Although you could almost do anything with Sarah so a bunch of actresses could do a decent job with the role. I just tried to find yesterday's GH episode right now and I actually thought I might have watched yesterday's episode and didn't realize it 🤣. Good to know I am not crazy, but I usually watch a few in a row and they do sort of blend together.

I really dislike Madison as Belle and have for approximately forever. I think she's a decent actress, but so miscast as Belle, so I'd be open to her as Sarah I suppose. If only to get her away from Days. I really need someone better as Belle. She's very cold and unlikeable IMO so I guess it depends on where the show wants to take Sarah.

I have stated how much I hate the same actors playing roles that are not twin/look alike related. It makes me think the show thinks the audience are idiots. Another pet peeve of mine is when a person from the soap press tweet at a regular person things like "you just heard about that? Lol, I have known for years". I mean, how would regular people find out that info? You call yourself a source for a reason. You have info from people backstage. Don't be condescending.

I like how Melinda figured out Sloan's scheme in a few hours lol. It really makes the rest of that quad look stupid for not even questioning Sloan. Nicole has another ugly hairstyle today. Gwen got a pretty racy sex scene with Dmitri. Surprising. The Tripp/Leo stuff was okay. It's nice to see characters that don't normally interact have scenes.

I don't get the whole story. This Eddie Maine persona is nothing like Eddie Maine was. He was still Ned just a leather pants wearing bar singer at night. He wasn't like this. This is a made-up personality in his head and he's using the name Eddie Maine. It would be interesting if he thought it was 1995 and had to figure his life out from there, but that isn't the case. I don't get the point of doing a throwback to history when it really has nothing to do with history at all.

Idk, I get he has no idea who Lois is, but I think that is sort of important information. He has to wonder who Brooklyn's mom is lol. It would have been easy to slip that info in casually into the story or, you know, just don't use Lois as part of the story if the show doesn't want to connect the dots.

Olivia is supposed to be a couple years younger than Sonny. Make of that what you will as Sonny's has de-aged through the years. Since when was young Lois a partier? We heard A LOT about Bensonhurst in the 90's and Lois was never described like that. It was also weird that Olivia referred to Lois as someone Eddie might know. Saying she was his ex-wife or Brooklyn's mother would have been much more relevant.

Yeah, it was almost too easy for Carly. She did lose the Metro Court, but she was going to lose her house and Bobbie swooped in and saved the day. It's just hard because there is no possible way Jax or Sonny would let the mother of their child/children live like that. There isn't any plausible scenario Carly would be destitute just on child support payments for Donna alone. I really can't stand the way the show uses Sonny currently. He hasn't fallen from grace or been punished, but you are correct, he follows NINA of all love interests around all day. Guza had so many faults and I was over him. However, he did bring an excitement to the show. Sweeps meant something to him, and he did excel at full cast disaster arcs. Was it violent, misogynistic, and ridiculous most of the time? Yes, but things happened, and I don't feel like things happen very quickly or often right now.

I don't really mind Carly going back to her humble roots. I agree that we didn't exactly get a personal progression from her. It was circumstances that led her to this, not any self-reflection. I actually do think it's more interesting than her going and finding another rich man. I don't think it will last long or that we will see Carly behind the counter at Kelly's for years to come, but I do think it's something LW plays more convincingly than upper class rich princess.

I am admittedly a Sloan fan. Sloan came off as a villian in the beginning because she refused to see Chanel was a victim as well. That being said, I don't think her view on her mother/father's death was abnormal as their daughter. People do see their family members with rose colored glasses plus both were dead. Secondly, Paulina did commit a crime by covering up Chanel's part in Sloan's mom's death which still appears to be accidental. Everything Sloan did against Paulina and Chanel was within the scope of the law and within her right to do so. Thirdly, the town accused Sloan of doing illegal, horrible things that her brother and Talia did and no one really apologized to Sloan for accusing her. I know after all her paternity lies come out everyone is going to say "I told you so" to Eric, but at this point all anyone can say about Sloan is that she has some questionable clients and went about getting justice for her parents in a legal fashion. She didn't even win. I just can't believe the two people responsible for Sami's existence dislike Sloan so much. Sami does more shady crap on a Tuesday than Sloan has done in her life. Sami was switching paternity tests at 15, but she's our heroine lol. Nicole has done some awful things and continues to never learn. I find it so oddly hypocritical. We are supposed to feel bad for Gwen and Leo!!!, but Sloan's the villian.

Shawn could have lived there. I really can't remember much about anything Shawn did. The last person I clearly remember living there was JY's Lucky, but I am sure people have lived there in the last 20 years lol.

I always thought those apartments were such a great place for single, young people to live and I am surprised they haven't been utilized in the last several years. I am not sure who would live in them on the cast now, but they are useful.

I was thinking they might redo the apartments upstairs depending on if they plan to use them. Carly said she wanted to rent them out and I can't remember the last time we saw the interiors of those. (the 90's?)

I think Eric has some work from his time in Africa and could have used those photographs for a show unless his show is featuring pictures of various places around Salem lol. If you remember, when Nicole/Eric lived in Tripp/Wendy's apartment there used to be a bunch of photographs of "African" landscape and wilderness hung up. Since Eric has been fired multiple times from the priesthood I doubt he gets any retirement.
