At least Paulina's house looks livable. Cheap, but it looks like a house/apartment. Sloan's house feels like you would trip over the couch when you walk in. And then Eric is constantly napping on that couch. Like he couldn't walk 4 feet to the bed lol? The stairs/upstairs portion doesn't make any sense either. It's designed so poorly. John/Marlena's house also defies sense when they have that small ass living room and one hallway that leads to the bathrooms, kitchen, multiple bedrooms, etc all on one floor.

At the risk of offending posters with talk about something not currently happening on the show, I would say Emily is actually one of the easiest characters to bring back. There is probably even a way to retcon the Rebecca nonsense and say that was Emily all along. The baby stuff has probably passed, and I would love to move her away from Nik as well. I'd find a good recast and do a soft reboot on the character.

Agreed. Idk, something about the progression of Talia's feelings seems really quick. This is another story that the show could have played out more slowly and show Chanel/Talia reconnecting as friends first. I knew I recognized him. I just didn't expect him to be that silver fox, but I guess it's been like a decade and a half lol. I will never get over his last name being Barrett, but no relation to Brenda.

I am against Talia falling for Chanel too in some ways. I find this story too similar to the Allie romance with Chanel "turning" these straight girls onto bisexuality, but it is soapy and could be good if they involve Tripp/Wendy/Johnny. The Ava/Harris scenes did go on too long although they weren't bad. TB and SBu work very well together. I just don't care about either of them. The Eric/Sloan/EJ/Nicole story is the only story I feel that seems like it has high stakes.

Deidre has so few guarantees that it almost seems like a waste to spend them on watching her work, but it's still nice to see her doing therapy. We just end up missing out on her doing anything with John or her family. Her last several episodes have been her working or talking about work. There just needs to be a balance. I am obviously late on the uptake, but I just realized FauxEric is Cooper Barrett from GH!

Sloan's apartment is really weird. There's an upstairs, but her bed is in the living room. The bathroom is obviously upstairs because that's where they go when they say they are showering, so is it just a bathroom on the upper level? No rooms? So even if it is just a studio with a bathroom upstairs it's still laid out so strange. If you open her door her bed is visible and there is a couch directly in front of it length wise. It's a huge waste of space if that's her only room.

I agree that bringing Ava back again is a mistake. Ava was good her first run years ago, but there isn't really much you can do to rehabilitate the character at this point. As far as the GH reference goes, I would probably say it's one of Ron's least obscure shout outs. I didn't enjoy it and I have always watched GH, but I would say both actors are much more famous for their roles on that show. It was just overkill to me. It went on too long.

All the MP reboot had to do was give me a throwaway line about Billy/Alison living happily ever after and I would have been satisfied. Anyway, I think Emily would be so easy to bring back with the Helena of it all. You can just hand wave that all and move on.

Yeah, I could see Georgie being phased out, but she could have gone to college or something instead of being brutally murdered lol. I can definitely see Guza being bored with Georgie, although at the very least she had an endgame pairing with Dillion and you could have split some of Maxie's stories with her, so Maxie didn't end up having the life experiences of someone twice her age at 35. I think just the fact that Maxie was part of such an iconic story made her much more important to Guza I absolutely think your point is correct, but GH really wasn't thinking about the future when they killed of viable heroines like Emily, Georgie, and Courtney (no loss at all to me, but she was Sonny's sister and Spencer's mom). Now we end up with Willow and Sasha as our heroines instead. Billy and Alison not ending up together is probably my biggest disappointment from MP, but that's for another thread. Billy ended up with Alyssa Milano and Alison is just drinking somewhere in Atlanta. Awesome.

Doesn't Rafe has his own house and set? Why is he hanging out at Jada's? Where does Talia sleep or even sit when Rafe is there? The Carly/Jason reunion was too much for me. I didn't realize TB was coming back and that was extremely heavy handed although I am honestly not fully against the pairing. I always thought Steve and Tamara had good chemistry.

I have often thought Maxie should have been killed off over Georgie, as I liked LL and thought Georgie had more potential. Honestly neither of them should be killed off, but if I had to choose it would be Maxie over Georgie. I know this is a show that killed off the entire Q family, but that would have been nuts to kill both kids of a popular supercouple.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking of. I remember FF just jumping in for no reason lol. I don't really think what JL said was that bad. It was dumb, but I don't really think she had ill intent. I wonder if the show was really going to kill off Maxie. I know the show had little regard for Felicia back then, but it would have been pretty savage to kill of both Felicia/Frisco's kids.

I remember Lilley being treated badly by fans, but I also remember her saying some boneheaded things and actually getting into it with KS online. I really enjoyed JL as Maxie so I would welcome her back eventually. I was just curious if she ever said anything about the recast situation. I have always wondered what was really going on behind the scenes. Her run kept getting extended and extended and it seemed so chaotic how GH handled the situation. I really wouldn't miss Maxie or Michael. I just think both performers are a big part of the problem although Maxie has run through years of story and is written into more a corner than Michael.

What was her experience? Was it the fans or behind the scenes? It was a really strange situation. KS kept extending her leave and I really thought Lilley was permanent after so much time.

I tend to think Michael needs a recast more than a rest. Although having Willow die and Michael leaving town for awhile wouldn't be a bad thing either.

I really enjoyed JL as Maxie and I have always liked Molly Burnett. I would like either of them back, but I still think Maxie as a character just needs a rest. I would write Maxie out for at least a year and then revisit recast options and/or KS again.

Ever since I noticed Talia's eyebrow acting I can barely concentrate on anything else when she's in scenes. It's so distracting, but it also is interesting to watch because someone's face shouldn't be able to do that.😂

I stand corrected. For some reason I only remember that wig. MM looks pretty good as a brunette. Anyhow, I still don't think she could play Maxie at all.

I mean Deidre might be bitchy? She absolutely probably said that to FF, but I also think Farah was saying that jokingly as well. FF is about my age and Dirty Soap happened at a time where that sort of slang or talk was more funny than her actually calling out DH for being a bitch. At the end of the day I doubt DH cares what FF thinks of her or about the one season of DS from 10 years ago. And to be fair, FF slathered on that lip gloss

I am pretty positive MM was wearing a wig as Liz. And she could not replace Storms as Maxie. I don't even like KS as Maxie, but MM can barely handle Belle. Maxie is quirky and has humor. MM does not bring any of that to the table. KS was a much better Belle as well.

Lenz would be really good, but she's a little young? Obviously BH looks amazing for her age, but I think Lenz still projects pretty young as well. It all depends on how you write Sarah. MM would be good for a colder, more serious Sarah, but BJL would be good as a warmer, fun Sarah.

Nicole consistently has some of the worst styling on the show. Sadly, I think it's partly on AZ. She seems to have questionable taste in fashion and hair.

That braid is a choice lol. But Sarah's hair looks like a brillo pad gelled on top of her head.

How long is GV out? The replacement is decent and cute. It was funny they were using Vaughn in flashbacks today though. Why the hell is Xander proposing to Chloe? They hardly know one another and haven't said I love you or anything. Super random. I am glad Xander thinks good parenting is talking to your son on the phone occasionally as well. Nicole has some awful hair, but I would honestly say LG's Sarah has the most unflattering haircut in all of tv. It consistently looks horrible.

The Hulu uploads of GH have never been consistent. They are late all the time and I do remember some of the episodes around the Nurse's Ball not appearing until the next day. This is the latest it has ever been, but I have never been able to set my clock by them being up by 8PM ET. Obviously the reps were confused, but it really would make no sense for Hulu just to stop showing GH on a Friday after showing the entire week lol. Idk, with Hulu it seems like they put the episodes up when they get them and they always show up eventually.
