Yeah. Obviously there are WAY more straight couples to compare and are very common. But I don't think anyone should have to love or stand by a LGBTQA couple because that's the the PC stance to take. Writing is writing. Couples are couples. Some work, some don't. I don't think Kristina/Ali worked that well. I am probably not wording this right, but can't we just like a pairing regardless of sex, gender, or anything else because it just works?

Why are we even comparing Otalia to Kraze? They are entirely not the same thing just because they share a similar/same sexuality. Do we paint all straight couples the same?

Donna, all I am saying is that if there is a big fanbase for Kraze there should be a clear agenda. Use the data or whatever this base has and try to get JGL re-hired. The fanbase is clearly being counter productive if they are attacking Mansi, but yet still want the pairing to be re-ignited. That's going to leave a bad taste for everyone including GH PTB. I have said numerous times Kate Mansi should have taken a higher road on this, but why would she even want to deal with any of this at this point? Why would GH? Blaze is a C character at best and is not in any other stories besides Kristina's and her bigot mom, who I assume will last 6 months at best. She needs Kristina and therefore Mansi more than Mansi needs her.

The other issue is that if all these "jac" fans hate Kate Mansi and think she's awful why would they want JGL to be re-hired and be paired with her again? Make it make sense.

The thing about all this is no one is asking Mansi to join a Blaze/Kraze fan campaign. They are slamming her. If Kraze has so many fans their time would be better spent writing, emailing, organizing a well thought out campaign to send to TPTB on GH. Not harassing Kate Mansi. Just saying...

Sounds like a nightmare. The only thing I remember her as is the slutty girl that broke up David/Donna on 90210. I didn't realize she was a possible "get" lol It's sad because I really like Luner and I could see her being a great in the right role.. Barely know who Kari Wuhrer is. I just am not sure how either would bring in soap viewers?

Kayla hasn't been the sharpest Dr. lately, but the kids would be 100% proof as to her identity. And after the whole Sloane/Eric/Nicole/EJ/Jude situation you would think she'd be more careful.

It seems like a time suck for Kate Mansi and has to be mentally draining. I am not PR person, but just giving a short little statement thanking people for their fan support, praising JGL, wishing her the best, and saying she's excited for what's next for Kristina would be fine like you said. I am sure some people would still be mad, but a short statement would have taken 5 mins as opposed to the several hours Mansi spent going back and forth. I am not blaming her for defending herself, but it feels like she was just making her life harder.

All the Gwen mentions are making me think she's involved. It could be Gwen's twin. I don't know why Kayla only tested Jack. Jen and/or the children would make more sense. Jack's randomly had a kid pop up before. And, hear me out, no one really knows where Gwen is. The first time Leo called she answered and hung up. Leo has continued to call her every single day and leave messages so he isn't blocked. Perhaps Gwen just changed her number like a normal human that was being stalked by Leo would. I think there is something more to that though.

The one thing I will say about KM is that she has been in this particular genre of the business for years on two notoriously fanatical soaps. She's in her 30's. She should have known not to engage or put out one nice statement. That absolutely doesn't excuse fan behavior. I just think unfortunately she has to take the high road.

She's the Crystal Chappell of GH lol. Mo disliking her isn't a red flag for me, but it doesn't appear anyone did. I think Rick Hearst tried to say nice things about her. I just chalk that up to being a nice guy though.

Exactly. My question is what's the expectation of her from these fans? For Mansi to bash the show, the story, her character? To walk into GH tomorrow and demand they re-hire JGL? Quit? There is really nothing KM can personally do at this point lol.

Very interesting take on the reasons MB got behind her. That makes a ton of sense. If he somehow saved her job she would be grateful to him, praise him in the press, and not cause any trouble. I also think he may have preferred her to Wuhrer. Didn't they notoriously not get along?

Again, I understand the frustration of these fans. It's really hard for me to take most of them seriously even when they have valid points. When a person is at the place where they are attacking an actress and using nicknames like "jac" and "Jacqui" like they know JGL personally they are in too deep in the parasocial relationship. Nothing Kate Mansi was going to say would change that and just be used against her. If she had to say something it should have been a blanket pr statement saying she enjoyed Kraze, working with JGL, will miss her and wishes her best in the future.

You know I can remember something that happened in 1995 on GH clearly. I watched the show fairly regularly during this period and it's like I remember none of it. That's speaks to the quality of that era lol. The Kiki, Nina, Howarth, and Easton's all blend in to me.

Ha! You gave a much better explanation than I could have. Mine would have been 🤷‍♀️ and I have no idea how one kid ended up with Carly's adoptive family and got a kidney bought by Jax and the other ended up in a cult. Kiki being Nina's would have made a hell of a lot more sense. I can't remember a single thing about Silas except Michael Easton. He's related to Vampire Clay, but is he related to Finn?

Mansi possibly could have misspoke too. I just called Chanel/Allie bi myself and I am pretty sure they both identify as sexually fluid as well. I really prefer Kristina being sexually fluid myself. It seems to fit her character and personality more. At the same time I can understand how triggering and insensitive it can be to viewers especially after they dumped the lesbian and kept the bigot. It really shows GH's lack of understanding about pretty much everything lol. I blame GH, a bad script, and bad leadership. I don't blame Mansi about anything yet.

Are we surprised the show messed this up? Lol. It's clunky dialogue by an amateur guest star though. I personally thought Kristina did identify as a lesbian, but I wasn't 100% positive either. I think GH made it very murky. It was very clear on Days Chanel/Allie were openly bi-sexual. Did Blaze even clarify if she was a lesbian or bi? I think dumping Blaze and keeping Natalia was an awful mistake. I am not sure Mansi is guilty of anything here besides responding in a bitchy way to people negatively tagging her on the internet.

I thought Kristina was now a lesbian, but she has identified as bi-sexual in the past. Idk, the optics aren't great, but I still don't think she has the power to get anyone fired.

Oh. I don't use twitter that often. It sounds like people are blaming her for JL's firing, but we don't have any proof of that? I can't recall Mansi having issues at Days although it seemed like Billy Flynn preferred working with Marci Miller.

Horrible thought lol. I couldn't stand KW/Reese. I thought JB was at least tolerable. I always thought or heard through the years that LW was the first choice and it wasn't doable in the moment because of GL. I can see JFP really thinking she could make JB's Carly work though. I always thought the rest of TPTB had other ideas 😂 Who knows? I still think JB got a rough deal. Has she even worked since?
